You said to resize the "G-Logo" size. But is Not it Perfect?Do you want more smaller?Because I think it's size already adjusted to our screen size. And not distorting in my screen.
But If you want a smaller one after that then I'll try to do asap.

Actually I Have Not Used The Original Trim Files Positions, That's The Issue For Those Animating Distortions. It Would Take Bit Longer Time To Fix Them. After Finishing My Another Project I Will Look Into It..
?
EDIT : Thread Updated Now.Download And Flash To See Now.

Hello, the animation lags maybe because of low fps. Also when i extracted the desc.txt file was showing 1080x2180 pixels it should be 720 i guess? Can you make a perfect one with 60fps?

I Know It's Image Layout Size Is Big...But It Works Perfectly In My G 2014.
Due to Index Layered Frames,It's Very Hard To Setup Positions And Alignment Of The Frames Accurately.
I'm Working On It...
And Will Update Soon.

This is a port for the Atrix of the gray and black dancing Barbershop Quartet taking out Apple. Thought it was funny, so ported it over for the Atrix. Just like the original, it loops at the end of the standing Android with the word flashing.
Original: charlieb620
Special Thanks to charlieb620 for great bootanimation!
I get bored from time to time, so just smack the Thanks button for my own little ego if you like it, hehe.

Nice those are pretty cool!
I installed it though and it doesn't show the entire animation. It is only showing me the barber shop android guy on top of the android text.

Same here. Black screen only. I already chmod 644 the new bootanimation.zip, no effect.
*edit* it seems when you zip the animation, you need to store instead of compress (inability to uncompress at boot time I guess). Will try this in a bit.
*edit 2* yup, that worked. store, not compress (zip option, works with 7zip)
Odd, I did No Compress like I always do. Must have happened when I edited the doc and readded it to the zip. WIll replace them in a bit before work.
Updated the downloads after rebuilding the zips, sorry bout that lol. Looks like it did redo the compression when I updated the txt live. Ah well.
Think my next port will a bios boot animation customized not only for size, but try to edit it for processor, etc that matches the Atrix. Depends on how busy work is this weekend
nice job MrSER!
Black working for me, thanks!
Dude, thanks a lot for this. I installed the black using adb with no problems. You should find a sound that goes with this. lol
can someone explain how to install this.. i kow it goes into system/media..... but do we just rename the downloaded file bootanimation.zip?
Correct, you simply rename it to bootanimation.zip. I recommend renameing the original bootanimation.zip to a different name first in case u want to ever restore the original animation.

Just wanna thank you again for this amazing and awesome boot animation
This isn't working for me. I see the logo my phones does a small vibrate and the screen dims then it goes to the lock screen before it finishes the boot animation.

It's probably cos' you are on CM7 and it boots too fast for the animation to get going.
Working great on CM7. Thanks for the port! And thanks to charlieb620 for the original!

Instructions:
Your phone should be rooted
This is NOT a flashable zip
1. Place/Replace the file in /system/media/ using RootExplorer (or any other root-access explorer)
2. Change the permission of the file in options. Set it rw-r-r. (Just tick em all if you do not understand this)
3. Reboot the phone. Enjoy!
Resolution: 480 x 854
Thanks to Wechy77 who edited the bootanimation by removing all the useless frames and changing the fps to a more suitable number which lowered the boot animation size from 2.25Mb down to just 640kb!
Beautiful :highfive:
Download it now and install
Nice and clean bootanimation

Beautiful, but it's a little bit bigger, than it it should be.
I edited it, and its 640kb. I can send you to test it, and you can see what i changed.
Really nice and minimal...
But maybe it should be sexier with circles instead of squares in the progress bar
nice boot animation
Similar to the one I made months ago, but how come it over 2MB when mine is just 35KB
You need dropping fps and indexing png to get smaller size.

I just tried that and I think the squares still look better but I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I still attached the circles bootanimation here if you want it.

I also downloaded the zip and extracted the frames too, and i noticed that the hues were not changing steadily (in every frame), but it is also really hard to achieve as frames are not enough to cycle through the whole spectrum, i guess?

This app will not use much battery. Images in this app are either half pixel images or having in two parts which replace one another to prevent screen burn.
Hi
Just a question
Is it dangerous to use this App ? Screen burn !!!
Thx

I'm upgrading to the 6 from a 3a XL, and am wondering if there's a see-through wallpaper available for this phone? I've enjoyed having this on my past couple of devices, and would love to continue with it if it's out there, but I haven't been able to find one so far.
Okay, I will bite.
What would be the difference of installing a wallpaper on a Pixel 6, compared to the hundreds of other Android devices?

Your first post said that you have used a transparent wallpaper on a Pixel 3aXL.
So why can't you use it on the Pixel 6?

See-through wallpapers are hi-res images taken of the device with the screen removed. With the internal components below the screen showing, it gives the appearance of the screen being transparent. The Pixel 3aXL wallpaper shows the internals of that phone, which aren't going to be the same for the 6.

I guess it's a good thing you didn't ask for a skeleton wallpaper of the Pixel 6.,,wink..
I downloaded, the photo from the screen replacement guide on iFixit, cropped and resized it, and the resolution seems to be high enough (tested on my 3aXL since I'm waiting on the 6 to arrive still). Once I can confirm the resolution on the 6, I'll do a final crop to fit it properly and then share it here for anyone else looking to have the same wallpaper.
It took a few tries to get everything sized and lined-up correctly, and it looks great on my phone! Hopefully others can enjoy as well
