I'm trying to change to the LTE network which is not available in the Mobile Networks. My carrier is Freedom Mobile and I'm running Android 7.0, with the LG G5. Anyone know how to fix this, or if this something the Carrier did to the phone ?

Use this menu to toggle the LTE network
1. Type *#546368#*model# ( *#LGMENU#*MODEL# )[MODEL eg. H850 - type 850]
2. Go to "Field test"
3. Go to "Modem Settings"
4. Go to "RAT selection"
5. Chose what You need:
- GSM / WCDMA / LTE auto
- LTE only
- LTE / WCDMA
- LTE / GSM
- GSM / WCDMA
- WCDMA only
- GSM only
After You chose option Your mobile data may turn off and on.

I was able to force the phone on to LTE, but it won't switch back to LTE after making a call. It stays on 3G.

I'm trying to fox my LG G5, but seems nothing works... I bougth this refurbished device in USA last octuber. I used it in Venezuela with my venezuelan phone number perfectly until march 2019. Then, suddenly, my device stop working. Now, is unavailable to recognize any network, no matter what SIMcard I plugged in (My SIMCard works perfectly in other devices, BTW). So, I went to three differents suport services in Caracas, but anybody could did anything. Now, I'm trying with some codes that I find, but it didn't work either. Actually, my device couldn't recognize some of them... Can you help me, please? I'm desperate to fix my LG G5.

I have the Canadian variant of the LG G5 (the H831) and I have no LTE option in network mode.
I bought this phone from WIND Mobile (now Freedom Mobile) and it seems like they Disabled the LTE functionality for some reason.
I was wondering if there is a way to enabled it?
I inserted my SIM in my friends phone (same model but with Rogers Wireless) and the phone downloaded the APN settings from Freedom Mobile.
That did not work at all and the phone was stuck on 3G just like my phone.
I heard if I install the firmware from another provider, it might work. However it seems the APN settings from my provider are causing the LTE option to disappear from network mode.
Lastly, I accessed the service menu by dialing a code in the dialer and I was able to enable LTE.
However, I was not able to make and receive phone calls.
Did anyone here have success enabling LTE with this model or similar?
suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Hey i have LG g5 AT&T unlocked and now i when i insert the other network sim it just say out of services and i have no way to change network mode from settings and hidden menu please help if this problem can be solved please.
I have a Galaxy S9+ Dual Sim variant (SM-G965F). Suddenly my device lost gsm connectivity. It's always on emergency calls only mode. then I tried to search manually for network operators from settings, it shows the operator list but it didn't register. Then I tried googling my error and suddenly came up with MIPI device failure. I will attach a screenshot that I found by entering *#0011# command. Is this a hardware or software fault? how can I fix this? Thank you.

I recently bought LG V60 Thinq LM-V600EA - EUA model from Janado.de (German Online Store). I am trying to use the device in India and when I insert SIM card, its detecting Network but not giving option to turn on VOLTE/WI-Fi Calling. Anyone else facing the same issue and have any solutions for this? I tried to check the lock status using 2945#*600# and all options says "Phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked".
