I'm currently running a cm 12.1 official nightly that's about a month old on my XT1022 and it says that cm 13 (nightly) is finally available for my phone as an update......
When I install this update, do I lose all my data and start over? All the stock cm12.1 apps that i deleted or replaced, do they return? Also i'm running TK Gapps (the latest release), so do I need to reflash it after installation? My recovery is TWRP (The latest version). Will I have to root again?

System update won't cause data loss but a nandroid backup is always recommended.
Stock apps of cm12.1 won't come but the stock apps of cm13 (this might include common apps like browser or file manager).
Yes you have to flash gapps again. You may not have to root again coz supersu comes with a backup script. (this applies to gapps too, some comes with backup script. So to be safe flash gapps again just in case)

Would I have to flash my custom Kernel (Zapdos) again? Also, What about the apps that Iconverted to system apps?
Yes you have to flash your custom kernel again after updating.
Those apps will be removed you have to download them again and make them system app.
Do one thing, the apps you moved to system, convert them back to user apps and then do a nandroid backup.
This because when you'll update rom data of those apps might remain and conflict when you'll download them again.
When I realized the update on my phone ... the apricativos part were , but I ended up doing a clean . I thought it would appear the option to restore a backup of Moto And normally the Google saves the information , but Will not appeared.

Yes, but in the previous ROMs same to make a clean completely, the time that appears the first screens to set up your machine ... provided the option to restore the latest handset by Google settings.
I installed CyanogenMod on my phone. Then downloaded the super gapps file and tried to install it. But every time I try, it says not enough space in system partition. I formatted everything but still it doesn't work. Is there any way I can increase the system partition size?

pico and nano will give you full base functionality. You can install other google stuff afterwards. These will go into your data partition, rather than system, which means you don't need to try to repartition your device storage.

Micro and higher gapps packages have additional face recognition smart lock system. Which pico or nano doesn't have. I thought i would get such more other features in super gapps which i may not get from play store.

I personally would not recommend trying to repartition your device's storage in order to increase the system partition size. However, if you are determined to do so, I am sure it can be done. I remember doing something like this with custom "pit" files for my old Samsung Galaxy XII, and it survived the experiment. You can probably do this using the Mediatek FlashTool, with an appropriately configured "scatter" file. Perhaps you could amend an existing scatter file yourself, and perhaps others have already produced such files (I would be surprised if this was not the case). But you should not go down this road unless you are happy to throw away the phone if something goes wrong. This kind of tinkering can end in tears.
Hello! Attempting to have a best version of Android in my phone, I've installed Cyanogenmod 12.1, and didn't have problems. I installed an app called link2sd, give it root acess and tried to uninstall some native apps of the rom that I thought I'd not use. But, after changing my sd card and uninstalling the app hangouts using link2sd, my keybord stopped, and when I searched for it in the list of apps, I realized it was uninstalled. So, I tried to restart the phone, and when I did it, so many native applications like the file manager was unistalled too. Tried to restart the phone by the recovery mode and after reinstaling the rom, I received many alerts like "Unfortunaly, Trebuchet has stopped", by many apps and google apps stopping and can't use play store, and many other aplicattions. I tried to format the USB Storage, the sd card, wipe cache and data, restore the cellphone... And nothing works. Can someone help me?
Hi,
While in recovery, did you select factory reset, then did you also wipe your /system partition? What gapps are you using?

After flashing ROM for the first time, did you try flashing over again (Don't boot into ROM, just reboot to recovery)? Sometimes a second flash will solve issues like this (gapps files missing, etc).

Here's a ROM I put together that I figured I'd share with you guys called SaMBoNeS! It's based on BQK1 from the Galaxy Tab A SM-P580 10.1" with s-pen. Most of the Samsung Apps have been removed. I like my ROMS completely barebones and then I install the apps that I want and if you do too then this is for you. It's pre rooted with Magisk. The boot.img will not force encryption. All of the remaining apps have been updated with the latest versions including Play Services, etc. Just wipe, flash the rom and you're good to go. S-Pen functionality remains. Not all the Samsung apps have been removed but most have. A total of 118 apps have been axed. Included is Adaway to block ads. In the screenshot are the apps that are left in the ROM. SaMBoNeS is Xposed compatible.
Instructions:
1) Boot into TWRP
2) Make sure your data is not encrypted. If it is do a Data Format in TWRP then reboot recovery
3) Wipe or Dirty Flash (Wipe recommended)
4) Reboot and you're set
5) Download the Removed Apps zip if you'd like to see what I removed
6) Put any of the removed folders into the ROM zip in system/app or system/priv-app that you want installed before you flash
7) Profit

It boots fine for me. What TWRP are you using? Is your internal storage already decrypted. Do a Format Data in TWRP then try flashing again.

Nope, there is one mirror right now, they've had a few issues since the site upgrade but you should be able to download it now.
Flashed and all is well with root! Thanks dev! I like how cleaned out this rom is, really down to the bare roots and essentials also on the latest nougat. I have a sm-p580 and so far so good.
This is what I did to wipe (taken from the other rom on this device):
From Advanced Wipe, wipe Dalvik/ART Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage & Cache
Install the ROM
Remember to remove the tick mark against reboot before clicking next, do NOT reboot yet!
Wipe Dalvik/ART cache (yes, again, after ROM install)

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't have to re wipe Dalvik/ART after flashing multiple times to test so you may be able to skip that step. My goal is to keep this simple and keep the OP uncluttered as a lot of OP's are totally unorganized.

Yeah I'll provide more feedback as I continue to use. One note I'd say is to add back calendar storage to the included apps. I was unable to use calendar at first, and this being a school tablet for me it was essential. I was unable to locate it in the deleted apps zip you uploaded. I just downloaded calendar storage from online to my system apps folder and then adjusted permissions. After that, all was well. Thanks!

The reason I removed it is because I use an app called Calengoo (It's awesome) and you sign into your Google account through that so you don't need any other calendar services running. I'll add it back in though.
Updated build with more removed apps up in the OP.

I'll let you know if any issues are happening with this rom tonight, I haven't updated my tab in a while, last rom I made for myself and was pretty great, but eh I like flashing new stuff just because why not.
Is this the most recent update to this rom?

Well I've been running this Rom for a few days now and it seems pretty smooth, all we need now is a custom kernel????

I agree. It's a shame there isn't more development on the P580 as it's the superior device with the extra ram, storage and s pen. It's kind of like a big Galaxy Note.
Any plans on getting your hands on P585? Was about to flash this on my SM-P585Y since they are similar but I realized I would need carrier specific apps like messaging, contacts, dialer, etc. Thanks.

Did calendar syncing get added back in? I'm having issues with it if it did. Downloaded today from the op and keep getting calendar storage errors on my P580.

No, not that that I remember. I moved on to another ROM awhile ago though. Nothing I found allowed formatting micro sd card as internal.
