Hello all,
I have this LG K7 X210 variant that belongs to my niece. Because the phone was quite slow and almost full their parents decided to factory reset it.
However now at the initial setup after the reset, it always asks for the previous Google Account that was on the phone. The problem is that they don't know/remember neither the email nor the password!
I tried to factory reset it as well by booting into recovery but the same results. The reset finishes without errors however it still needs a Google Account that was previously used in the phone!
How can I bypass that? Is there any way to flash again the stock rom? I can't find anything for this variant online.
It's been over a month that phone is in this state!
Thank you!

Hey your phone FRP Locked by Google. You can bypass it by watching some tutorials or by using LG Up to restore again. There's a guy with a thread called LG Aristo 2 Tutorials by TeckNight and he has all the stock firmware and links to recover your phone.

Allright, well I am a new andriod user, and about a month or so ago i rooted my phone. I am very technology minded. Found a page that showed me how to do it and a link to a doanload for a folder with the needed files. Anyways I have a lg optimus lte through bell. Yes I am in canada. So last week i decided to unroot my phone seeing as I wasnt using the super user features that I put on the phone. Needless to say now my wifi will not turn on and I have followed to the letter the instructions on how to factory reset the phone and when I do, i get to the factory reset part, hit the power button twice and then the screen flashes to the lg splash screen and just sits there frozen. I do a battery pull and the phone works but it is still not reset or rooted. Anyways what I am trying to say is i need some help reseting this phone back to factory so i can get full use out of it. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you ever change your ROM/have to flash back a stock ROM? Or did you just root it and keep the same one?

I rooted it with a file i found online, the folder was called LU6200_ROOT_RECOVERY_FLASH_PATCH. It rooted fine with no problems. I unrooted it following the directions in the folder and now my wifi doesnt work and i cannot hard reset the phone.
I rooted it using IOroot last night, factory reset this thing and now it says that. Anyone have any idea why?

If all you did was root the phone and factory reset then no idea. You didn't freeze anything or mod the phone in any way?
- Tapatalked from the G3
I actually froze a bunch of LG stuff because I didn't like them... Apparently I froze LGSetupWizard or uninstalled it and now I am sitting with a shiny new brick. Hopefully I can unbrick it when I get home; tried at work and the flash tool wouldnt see the device so I was stuck at the log in screen.

Yea you will have to put the phone into download mode and use the LG Flash Tool to flash the .TOT. I had a similar problem after I tried to edit the build.prop (less than 24 hours with the phone and had just finished setting everything up...) and since the file is so large Root Explorer can't open the whole thing and saved an incomplete build.prop. Couldn't get through the setup wizard either after factory reset so had to flash the .TOT.

can someone please help me i have an lg g3 d851 (tmobile). i just got this phone like 3 weeks ago and rooted it..i think i used lg one click root . about a week ago i started having problems with my wifi where some apps would connect and work fine but other apps would not connect. i decided to factory reset (since i didn't have anything on the phone anyway) and when it booted back up i went through the setup process and at the last screen it fails and says "Unfortunately LGsetupwizard has stopped working." and it takes me back to the first screen. I have no idea what to do should i take it to tmobile will they fix it or should i try one of the methods above? if so which method should i do? i dont reallty remember but i think i deleted t mobile my account and google play musi and google play books
Try over in the t- mobile lg g3 area: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g3
For Verizon we have options to flash a .tot or a .kdz file. Your phone likely has the same options, but you should look in the area with the right carrier- specific info.
Good luck, it's a great phone!
Title is self-explanatory. I got locked out of my phone, so I went into recovery mode and did a hard/factory reset then rebooted the device. Everything was fine and well until the Device Protection from 5.1 kicked in and asked me to log back into my google account due to "unauthorized reset". I cannot access that google account anymore; I only created it for this phone and I never wrote down the password. I tried every password recovery option. I am COMPLETELY locked out of my phone, AND I deleted all my data for no reason. Grrr.
I read somewhere that since DP wasn't intoduced until 5.1, flashing the phone back to 5.0 would circumvent the entire problem, making it a nonissue. What I need to know, is how to do this in download mode. Please tell me it's possible. I'll try anything at this point; the phone is already a paperweight so any idea is a good idea.
I have s9+ that I didn't know to remove Google FRP from before doing factory reset. So I go through the google recovery only to get thanks for having a recovery email but we still can't verify its you. It does not have service on the phone she switch to ATT got another phone I was going to reset and sell it for my daughter who no longer uses this phone. Is there anyway to get the phone working since google, Samsung and Verizon has been zero help. Someone said to flash combination file and that would do it. But I'm struggling to find the right file. Looks like from the recovery screen it is android 8.0/r16nw/G965USQS2ARF4. Any advice on how to recover from this google lock out would be much appreciated. thx
Did you have try wipe data / factory reset from recovery mode?
re
Yes that is how I got where I am I was trying to reset phone to sell and now when boot I can't get passed logging into google and like I said I have did recovery but it say even though I can receive recovery to back up email it can't verify me.
I have an ex gf who's brother in law recently died. As she's the only one left she has inherited all his stuff among which is a Galaxy Tab S6. This was used by the now deceased brother in law and she does not have access to either his phone (was a work phone) or his email. I have tried doing a factory reset but as it has previously been setup by the brother in law there no way to factory reset it.
What are my options here? Install a new rom (if that's even possible)?
Thanks in advance

The only choice left is to install a 3rd Party Custom OS. As installing the stock Samsung OS, which require you to enter the original owners password. The only other alternative would be to ask their company if they can remove the said device from the deceased person's Samsung account. Then you maybe able to use it.
Thanks! I was thinking about rooting it and that might be the way I go. Thanks again

Even if you root it there is a chance that the device will ask for you to enter the previous user's login password.
