Some questions about the dual sim mode on the Mate 10 Pro ;
Is it possible to use a planner to activate the second sim card ? For example : from monday to friday from 8 AM to 5 PM ?
If not, is there any app ?
Another question: can I use the data from the second card without receiving calls and SMS on this card ?

Maybe tasker on the play store can do this, its an automation tool, can do lots of cool stuff..
For data sharing, IT should be possibile to use data plan from one card only and you select for which. This is how IT works on my Lenovo P2 dual sim.
A app called root sms call manager can do this even without root but!!
No matter how you disable battery manager, it will go into sleep and not work.
Typical Huawei phones, but it work perfect on my Samsung A8.
I'm not using my mate 10, before Huawei fix this killing apps in background, and I guess it will never happen, sadly.

What I'm trying to do has sort of been asked before; I found a few posts discussing something of the sort, but most of them were quite old/outdated and others were mainly about how to do it without root (and were quite unsuccessful). As it is what I feel might be a rather common procedure I thought it would be good to ask it again, to see if it has been figured out and to help future migrators.
The problem is as follows. I have an old phone (phone A) on which I have a WhatsApp account registered to SIM card A. SIM card A no longer exists however, and the phone is being used with SIM card B, which is not connected to the WhatsApp account; people still send messages to phone number A. This phone is rooted, and I have access to all* apps that might be useful for this. The phone is on Android 7.0.
Now, I want to move the WhatsApp account tied to phone A and SIM card A to a new phone: phone B. Phone B has SIM card B, is also rooted, and is also on Android 7.0. Important to note is that I want WhatsApp to remain tied to SIM card A.
So what I'm looking for is a method to do the above. I've tried some things myself, but I have failed thus far, so if you know how to do it successfully feel free to skip the rest!
Now, I initially thought this should be easy to do with backups, via Titanium Backup Pro. I backed up the app and data on device A, restored it on B, and voila, working WhatsApp account. This is true, but not completely; the notifications didn't really work anymore. I only received the messages if I had the app open on the screen, never when it was in the background. I searched around a bit and it seems to be related to push notifications, although I couldn't really figure it out. Someone suggested to instead download an old WhatsApp apk, install that, restore only the data with Titanium, and then update the app in the Play store. This works a little bit better, but still not completely. From time to time the messages will come in by themselves, but still very often I find that I need to manually open the app and wait for about 5 seconds before receiving everything. So still somehow the notifications/background process/something else seems to be off. Note that I've given the app all types of permissions, locked it from closing, made sure the battery saving options aren't killing it, and so on. It's close to normal functionality, but I can't figure out how to get it exactly right.
*I have Titanium Backup Pro and I'm willing to pay for other apps
Hi, I've just purchased Amazfit Pace and upgraded to rom 1.3.3a. It seems that only incoming calls notifications work, together with move reminder.... SMS and whatsapp messages arriving on my phone (a Honor 8 Pro) are not notified. I've already tried unpairing and pairing again with the phone, factory reset and uninstalling and reinstalling the amazfit watch app on the phone but nothing changed. Obviously messages and whatsapp are not in the app blacklist. Anyone can help me?

i had the same problem
at first everything was ok , and then suddenly only got notifications from calls
(i have miui , everything is set correctly)
so i put the Watch Droid Phone app and everything is ok (i guess i have worse battery with that)

Thanks for the suggestion. Since I'm new, is it necessary to flash another rom or is it sufficient to enable the app list and install the app on the watch and on the phone? Did you follow some guide in particular I can follow?
No, you just install one apk to the watch (use apk installer for pc) and one to your phone (i can t give you link right now but you can search the forum)

That page refers to Honor 8, while I have Honor 8 pro which slightly differs. The most similar setting I've found is the choice of app to close when screen is locked, in the battery manager which is directly in the settings menu. However both Amazfit watch and whatsapp are already prevented from being closed when screen is locked...
I just recieved my Mate 10 Pro BLA-L09 today and after a few hours playing etc I have decided to restore all my all from my previous phones. Problem is this is the only phone I've ever had without being able to root so I am wondering if there is a way to restore all my backups made with Titanium pro.
Any help would be appreciated
Hi, instead of using Titanium, you can use the Huawei app Phone Clone to transfer most of your configuration from previous phone. Including apps, data, call logs, sms, etc. It works really well. You can find the app in Google play.

Phone Clone didn't work properly for me, I was able to transfer only call logs and SMS. Apps were transferred without any data, probably because of different brand. I have tried some other applications too but without success. I didn't have so much time for that, so I decided to instal everything manually. It was much faster than playing with questionable clone apps.

I was wondering if it exists a message app that will let me auto answer a specific number with a specific text.
I have unlimited data (sim card in router) but every 25 GB I need to write "TOPUP" to get access to further 5 GB.
You would probably be needing Auto SMS or a similar app from the playstore.

I'm willing to buy the redmi 6a but i need to know if it has problems with killing the app in background. thanks>!
Have you cheched in the phone manager's battery settings to set your apps as they don't have to close?
You have to open Phone Manager, go to Battery section and select protected apps or something similar and then set the switch as you wish on the app you want to keep running.
Also, if you need it, there's the AppLock feature always in the phone manager.
Btw I've just bought online the Redmi 6A so on Tuesday I'll be able to tell u if it keep apps but I think it will be the same as huawei devices: you first need to set the app as permitted to run in background

Yeah i set every setting possible to inhibit the close of the application, in battery managment, app managment, set the app as home app, etc. I tried everything and still the app does not work properly. Yeah please let me know if your redmi 6a work then
I have an honor 7a and it happens that if I use more apps at once (keeping them in background) after some time, other apps gets closed.
It should happen because of the ram that can't keep many processes and so it closes it or something like this.
Very annoiyng of course.
If it isn't because of the phone manager, than it's related to hardware limitations
I received my new phone some weeks ago and actually is a Redmi 6 and not a 6A
BTW the apps are not getting closed and even if they do, you just need to change the settings in battery manager.
MIUI have a way better power management.
