Fingerprint - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Hey i have a problem , after a Rom Update my fingerprint started to not work. I made an flash throught adb with a format all , and flash a stock firmware . Now when i want to add a fingerprint the phone don't do nothing , just that interface that say : Touch the sensor ... ; I touch but no effect. I found that if i turn on the option to snap photos with fingerprint , every time i open camera the phone start snaping photos , without my touching sensor , and if i touch it won't affect nothing . I wonder if can i make something to repair it , or it is need a replacement part.
Tried with many roms but no one worked .
And flashed with fastboot with different roms . Same problem.
Tried to calibrate it throught system settings but no effect.

Heyyo, have you tried upgrading your modem firmware? If not please try going to Chinese 26s 05.09. modem firmware fixes fingerprint reader compatibility with custom ROMs.
Flash via TWRP. No need to reflash ROM as it is separate from modem firmware.

I had CM13 official build installed, all was well until I had OTA update which I have done many times on that phone as well as others. After update I was unable to login as my password/pin no longer worked. Factory reset solved that problem and when it booted back I was unable to read sim card or connect to wifi or even Bluetooth. Trying to flash stock resulted in failing. I tried using dload which results in fail. as well as extracting update.app and using fastboot which does flash however stuck on boot loop. If I install a stock rom through twrp it hangs at flash screen. If I flash cm13 it boot but I am unable to use 4g/wifi or anything.

Yes
u did wipe every thing before u flash stock ? u should fully wipe ur device . ( data, system cache , dalvik and internal memory ) all this should be wiped then u can flash each img throw TWRP to same partition , try again should work with stock then u can go back to CM !.
Yes through twrp and fastboot. Also when trying to flash using update.app I am on stock recovery
while wiping u got any error ? of success with 0 errors ?
No errors that, I don't think
When I try to wipe using stock recovery (factory reset) it always fails. Although I can wipe cache

Try using dload after flashing stock recovery through bootlaoder.
I did, I just feels like I have tried every combination and every trick to get this up and running. IDK it seems like the cm13 update messed up a partition and only cm13 works and only partially works because 4g and wifi are not working at all. :'(

Well that could mean there is a problem with your EFS partition. But I don't know how an OTA could have messed it up. How did you update CM13? Did you use CyanDelta?
It was OTA which was flashed through TWRP recovery
In About Phone check to see if Baseband and IMEI numbers are shown. If not then something must be wrong with your EFS partition.
Going to stock through Huawei updater is the only way to fix this IMO, unless you have made a backup of your EFS partition earlier.
Try the Huawei update using another firmware since the one you have may be corrupted.
only sollution is trial and error,,
just make it a two way..
if you have stock recovery, try rollback package and install lollipop
and if youve twrp, download a lollipop firware backup and just rostore..
any one of those will get you on emui3 and you can start it fresh again..
gud luck

having issue with EFS without a backup for it is like breaking ur device , installing stock will always fail .
if EFS not recognized or missing the only solutions is service center only .
and if ( only ) if the phone works he will not be able to get any network to work .

Can I know which version of stock ROM you are On before flashing custom ROM ?
So I contacted Honor support and they said since I unlocked bootloader that my warranty is void. I asked if they have out of warranty repair and they said they do not. Seems like my phone is now an iPod Classic with a touch screen since I can't even use wifi or Bluetooth. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fully restore this phone I am all ears

Sim card not detected after flashing custom rom

So I flashed a twrp with Rashr then I flashed a lineage OS nougat after that the phone when is on didn't detect the simcard
Flashed a RR marshmallow but same problem
I'm trying to flash stock rom but in downloading mode it just show the blue full line and Odin stack on Nand write start
Any Idea how to fix that??? ?
Tried using different usb cables and usb ports?
Maybe you can copy efs file in Stock Rom to move to rom you use, but i can not guarantee this way succeed

Problem with BootLoop (customROM)

PROBLEM SOLVED, THANK YOU !
Hi.
I just recently rooted my Honor 5X (KIW-UL00 , it's the chinese model)
I then tried installing a custom ROM, the LineageOS. Problem being that I was stuck in a weird BootLoot. When I rebooted the system, it showed me the usual Honor page for like 4-5 seconds, then the loading screen for LineageOS. After like 10 seconds, the animation stopped, the thing crashed and my phone restarted to the Honor page, then Lineage, then crash ... So I booted my phone with TWRP, tried Wiping the Cache and System and started over again with installing Lineage. The same thing happened. I then tried with 3 other custom ROM'S and the same thing happened. I don't know what I did wrong, I am wiping my cache and Dalvic each time, but I can't figure out what to do.
I'm looking for someone who could help me fix this. I am thinking about flashing the stock ROM, I just don't know how to do it, because it seems different than the custom ROM'S
PS: I'm looking for a kick fix, because I kinda really need my phone xD
Thank you!
Ok so, quick update, I got rid of TWRP by flashing the stock recovery over it. I tried to follow this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/help/honor-5x-kiw-ul00-boot-loop-t3449554
(DigiGoon's first answer) but it told me that the installation failed.
So in short, my phone is actually in a endless bootloob, trying to boot no ROM, because the're none.
what's the stock system version you were running before you flashed the custom rom? B418 is the latest non VoLTE firmware.
It was Marshmallow 6.0.1... I found my mistake
We can't downgrade using the SD card method and I was trying to install 5.0
Now I need to find the stock version for the KIW-UL00 6.0.1
you can downgrade with the help of hisuite by huawei.
if your stock system was above B422, you can use this patch to stop the bootloop,
just flash the file in twrp after you flash the rom. https://mega.nz/#!tK51gDRL!S9oYLBTeFDbN0hOCzt5jQ5DYECObFC08YMr-Kml6scc
Problem is that I dont have any ROM or custom recovery running on my phone. I can only acess the bootloader, the eRecovery (that for some magical reasons, doesn't work for me) and the SD card installer, that also doesnt work because the only thing I can find is a UPDATE.APP that is on 5.0, when my phone was on 6.0.1, which doesn't work.
HiSuite doesn't even connect and I don't know what VolTE is, can you explain?
Can someone can help me in finding the Stock ROM for KIW-UL00 (the chinese version of Honor 5x) on android 6.0.1. I can find those for every country except china...
EDIT, I was able to get back on TWRP, so I can add files in my phone
haubudam, i freaking love you dude, you saved me
Thank you SOOOOOOO much

My version of the firmware is B245. Your patch did not help me, there is no newer version of firmware for KISH-UL00 than 245. What should I do?

i dont know what should i do now?
up
please someone help meee
Hello Sir,
To get your RIL working (Sim Card/Signal) you should do some basic things :
1. Try a Factory Reset, it *may* work.
2. Download the latest firmware (no matter for which country is it) from Sammobile and try again to flash it with odin.
3. When the phone is on try to push the power button 5 time quickly, it's working on some Miui Rom, it could work on stock too.
4. Try to put your sim card in other slot if you have a dual sim version of S7 Edge.
5. Try to Flash just the modem.img from the Firmware which you've downloaded.
6. Root it back and flash a Custom rom if those not work or send me your phone, i give 100$ for it :laugh::laugh::laugh:
Oh, and the reason why it fails is because the Firmware that you are flashing has an old Bootloader, Samsung implemented a really stupid thing called "Qualcomm Secure" which don't gives you permission to change/downgrade the Bootloader, maybe using a "Combination Firmware" could work, who knows...

More details would be helpful here. Which TWRP did you flash? Did you wipe everything before flashing? Did you update your Firmware? What ROM did you flash? etc. As long as you can still boot into Recovery or Fastboot, all is not lost.
I fixed it, wasn flashing right firmware, n I'm using a twrp my boy compiled
