Hello,
I recently had a T-Mobile account transferred into my name. I also purchased a LG V30 at that time, and since then most google apps have not been working/syncing on my phone while using mobile data. I am unable to open the Google play store (just shows a blank white screen) and apps like Google Play Music open, but do not sync. YouTube is another app that does not work, however Gmail and Chrome work fine. When I am connected to WiFi everything works normally, and once I download apps not related to Google via WiFi they work on mobile data just fine. T-Mobile tech support and Google tech support both insist it is not an issue on their end and have been no help at all. Here are the troubleshooting steps I have taken so far:
- Put my SIM card into two brand new LG V30's and a T-mobile employee's person Samsung Note 8. The same issue occurred on all three devices.
- Put my SIM card into and iPhone, the Apple store functioned normally.
- Cleared the cache and data for Google play store app and Google services app, no change.
- Checked APN settings, proxy and port show "not set"
- Tried resetting the mobile network on the phone, the issue still occurred
- Tried setting up the phone without using a Google account, the issue still occurred which tells me the issue is related to my SIM card, not my Google account
- Checked the other phone number on my account, was able to open the Play Store normally and download apps on mobile data. This tells me the issue is strictly related to my phone number/SIM card and not an issue with the entire T-mobile account.
- Spoke with Google tech support who stated that Google apps cannot track or identify specific phone numbers to deny them from accessing the app
This issue is very frustrating as I cannot download apps unless I am connected to WiFi even though I have an unlimited data plan. I have tried everything I have been able to find online for people experiencing issues with the Play Store and nothing has worked. I feel like this has to be an issue with the way the account was set up when it was transferred into my name, but without even having a suggestion on what the error could be, I don't know how to help T-Mobile identify it.

Hi,
Nook Tablet 16G rooted CM10.1.2/Android 4.2.2
Odd issue. Have two of these with different accounts. On one Google Play Books/Magazines Apps work fine. On the other Books fails to sync library (Quit / Retry) yet settings account shows books sync working. Also Magazines starts shows logging in dialog then the screen flashes and it loops back to logging in/flash/logging in / flash, stuck in a loop. Haven't tried market online access yet but I presume it will work fine since I can download and run apps from Play store.
Tried uninstalling/reinstalling both apps, no change. Moved both apps to sd, no change. clear both cache and data, no change.
Anyone run into this problem?
Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Kevin
New info.
On a whim I decided to add my account, which is working on the other tablet.
Using my account on the tablet in question (2 apps don't work) google books and magazines works!
Switching back to my son's account and the symptoms return.
So it's not the tablet or the app but the account?
It's odd because google play works fine (ie. download and install apps) using that account.
I need to go to the web based market and try logging in with the account in question to see how the web based interface works.
I'm wondering if it could be due to the account not having a registered form of payment?
Regards,
Kevin
Hey guys,
I got an HTC Jetstream as a gift recently and its lovely! I was successfully able to connect it to my WiFi and browse the internet and stuff but for some reason the Play Store is not available. It still has the old "Market" app which does not connect to the internet even if I put in my Google ID and password.
It comes back with an error stating my Internet connection is not reliable. However, I am able to download stuff and video HD quality YouTube videos. I am not able to log in to any Google apps as well.
What seems to be the problem?

Does it let you log into a Google service (i.e. Gmail) via a browser on the Jestream? If not then you might want to troubleshoot using Google Dashboard on a different computer.
Otherwise, this might be a time when performing a factory reset fixes things. Is losing all of your data acceptable?
Search google: google play apk download. Install the latest market app.
Hello people,
I recently bought a Note 3 16GB, I let my brother open it for the first time, but apparently he entered his gmail account instead of mine. I thought I would just hard reset and start it properly since I didn't know what else he had done.
I did factory reset and proceeded, but as I found out, Play Store My Apps section kept loading forever.
Apparently since he entered his gmail account first, all apps are bound to his account, that means my list is going to be empty unless I update them each one by one, which I can't because I know from my recent phone (Note 2) there are apps that don't show up on phone screen(hidden services that occasionally require updates)
Is there a way to make my phones' apps show on my play store?
Is framework wipe what I need?
Is this what your looking for ?

Issue: Google Account Contacts Sync not working correctly resulting in some contacts missing. The phone shows the same number of Google Contacts as the website shows for Google Contacts, but the phone does not have them all, including our son's contact which is what made this issue obvious.
Stats: Two bran new stock LG V30 phones T-Mobile version purchased from a physical T-Mobile store and running Android 8.0 via LG Bridge software for the update.
Steps taken already:
NOTE: I have never had a phone do this with the Google Contacts before, and I've had many.
NOTE: The issues was present both before and after the Android 8.0 update and before and after any apps installed [I only install from the Play Store no side loads either].
Four times removed the Google Account and rebooted and added account back in, with no resolve.
Three times a factory reset, with no resolve.
Once replaced with another new phone from the T-Mobile store, with no resolve.
Spoke with T-Mobile tech support engineering, of course they've never heard of the issue before, and suggested the steps I've already taken. No resolve.
Emailed LG with no response after four business days. No resolve.
I've tested the Google Contacts on other phones with no issues with the Google Contacts, ZTE ZMax Pro Z981, Samsung Galaxy S5, BLU Bold Studio 6 lte, etc. and all Google Contacts worked fine on all of them.
Added later. Ooops I should have also mentioned that when I force the Sync of the Google Account it often does not do anything, even if I have tested by making changes to a contact or added one.
This is crazy. What to do?

Just spoke with Sandrina from T-Mobile and she helped figure out the problem. The Battery Saver on the LG V30 blocks Google Contacts from being able to Sync, even if you manually go in and try to force Sync. That surprised us both that it would even prevent a forced Sync. But sure enough, turning off the Battery Saver allowed Sync to happen. Thank You Sandrina from T-Mobile.
Hi All,
I recently I upgraded my phone, and restored my account to it. No problems, all fine bar one thing.
I used heart trace and sleep to connect to my Google fit account to sync data, however for some reason I am unable to relink the accounts. Whenever I try to connect them, I get to select the Google account to use, but then all I see is a white box with it trying to load content, and it never changes from this until I cancel the account linking screen.
I have tried clearing the data for the fit app to see if this would help and removed both existing app links. Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas? Thanks.
