Hi guys, just a small SlimROM release
I post here because it's a simple testing build (a bigger and more important is in testing, this rom was just a test and will not be maintained)

Hope you'll like this rom while i'm working on the big project
please don't ask me ETA and questions about the "project", this is actually a surprise
nice one
any information on bugs ?
ill test it rn
okay, i tested this gem and as it turns out, there are no bugs what-so-ever
the only downside is that there is small lack of customization options, but i believe this is due to the nature of slimroms. altho i can remember having a lot more customization options on older versions
anyway, its a great rom
the battery is amazing, so is the performance
Thanks man! You are the best !

its actually pretty decent
while using (brightness on high) the device doing stuff like whatsapp, instagram, a few games and so on, the battery life isnt much different from other roms or the stock rom
ur doing stuff, the display is bright - battery's draining
but when the display is off or ur not doing a lot of stuff, the battery is really good
actually, the battery almolst doesnt drop at all when the device is off (locked screen, stuff like bluetooth and wifi off)
Tried out Slim for a while yesterday. Performance and smoothness were both there, so great work.
Can't say anything about battery since I diden't use it long enough to get any reliable stats.
Cheers and thanks
by testing. works quickly, without glitches. found only a few minuses:
1. second SIM card does not work
2. There are no soft-button settings.
a310f slim rom
great and easy to use slim rom
only bug is the auto brightness level
thank you developer.
great work.

crDroid is a ROM that tries to unite the best features available today but also maintaining maximum stability and battery life.
At the moment we are based on CyanogenMod with many cherry-picks from other great projects like SlimRoms, AOSPA, OmniRom among others…
Installation:
before flashing, full backup inclidin efs partition is necessary.
if you switch from stock rom, full wipe is necessary.
flash with custom recovery
this rom doesnt have gapps included
this rom has own root support, but supersu installation is recommended
bugs:
poor audio quality in voice calls
gps is not woking
nfc is not working
audio problems in whatsapp
equalizer is not working
otg is not working
problems with video codecs
If you use sim card with pin code, phone will stay in loop on the " unlock sim card "

And a quick question: Does Alpha (Exynos) support 64bits as well?
Hello,
Can you please attach screenshots of how it looks like and tell us what are the bugs that you've noticed

Well done good work, it seems stable and fast
One bug found: metallic audio in call

I haven`t install it...but why is so important the Antutu score? Would you prefer to have a fully working ROM with decent Antutu score or a ROM full of bugs with high Antutu score? Just install it and you will have all your questions answers. And maybe you will help also the developer to improve the ROM stability by reporting any bugs that you will find!

Hello,
I've noticed a few bugs so far:
- when recording video, it all seems fine but when you are viewing it its HUE changes, for instance my walls in real life are red but in the video itself they are blue (idk what that is)
- sometimes it cant connect to the camera (noticed it happens when you switch from video to camera)
- metallic sound in calls
Best regards,
James

So what man?
You can still update the ROM for Samsung Galaxy Alpha... it doesn't change anything just make sure this ROM has no bugs at all and its gonna be all good.
Although I am going back to 4.4.4 KitKat since its more stable and has a use of all these silly sensors and other stuff as well (5.0.1 is coming this month so theres no point of making any ROM's at all) JUST JOKING, I'll be using this ROM until a stable 5.0.1 ROM from Samsung is released!
Best regards,
James

Any word out for Cyanogenmod for Moto Z?
TWRP Team has showed amazing support already building recovery for it
The Hardware is awesome, would be cool if CM 13 or 14 comes to this phone
I hope but I don't think so.
CM does have very few SD810/20 devices. We have to hope for an unofficial port.
I hope so too, the phone is still new to the market, lets wait until developers get their hands on it
The problem with Z phones is the mods and how easy/hard it will be to support mods in other than stock based mods. But I sure hope that simple mods like the battery mod will work eventually. All depends on the additional needed software. Are the "Moto stuff" downloadable and useable on other roms than stock? Or do other roms need to build the very own support all from scratch?
İ finally built working cm14.1
But so many things are not working
Like
Wifi
Brightness
Simcards
Camera
Mods(are you kidding me!)
And also drains battery so flawlessly
But other things working like:
Bluetooth
Fingerprint
Touch
...
I'm working on it until someone upload official stock firmware 7.1 but this device need more developer and I'm alone on this project
If someone can help me contact me to build more stuffs together
just registered to say i've got most things working (ish) here:
the github url slash motoz-2016/android_device_motorola_griffin (not going to spam a bunch of posts just to submit a link, derp)
only things broken in 14.1 are:
- weird battery life issues (it lasts quite a while, but sometimes certain tasks seem to drain it way down)
- radio doesn't recover if it loses signal (curse you elevators)
- no mods support
- camera (this was working in 14.0 and died when i moved to 14.1)
- generally odd little things.
I havn't had much time recently to work on it (hope to change that soon) but it's been a daily driver of mine for a few weeks.
on the mods side of things, all the kernel support for them is already released on moto's github. it's just a matter of us actually using it (my kernel actually builds the kernel modules but that's not quite enough)
if any devs want to help contribute feel free to contact. (sent you a PM @erfanoabdi)

Well, basically i do just need someone who Maintains a Thread with Me and My Team Mate here. I want to have someone who owns the Device to get advanced Reports and to have someone who Quotes Me on the Thread if Problems appear (Can be Device Specific).
If anyone is interested enough i will start a Thread which the Maintainer gets invited to. So let's Go! :highfive:

Yes, I got a complete refund from o2 for my g5 after it's second repair (GPS u know..) and decided to go for the axon. I truely love this device!

That was Luck I would love to have the Axon 7 too. That stereo Speakers and the Display... Mhhh....
But Yes, it should work on Stock. BUT YOu need to add Init.d Support if YOu want to use the given Scripts like Battery Calibration and Play Services battery drain Fix.
Another thing are the GApps. The LIGHT PATCH comes with Optimized GApps for 7.1. If You are on 7.1 YOu're good to go. If not, You should pre download a GApp Pack for Your Android Version to install it after the Patch. That should be all. And like always, do clean flashs! lol

I'm still playing around with some things. Ended up doing a complete clean flash of RR, Magisk 13, and this again this morning, so I haven't had too much time to just dive into everything just yet. Just tested sound over speakers though, and it sounds great. Still gotta see how battery fares.
If you opt to let the patch install Gapps, they're very minimal, and you'll end up installing most of them from the Play Store, but that gives you the option to keep whichever ones you want. There are also a ton of lib files, and some add-ons from Sony and HTC that are worth checking out. Will give a more detailed post after I've had more time to mess around.
I'm interested too.
A list with some information of the benefits would still be good.

Glad to hear it runs! Well, there are hundreds of Features and goodies in this Baby. I'm working on Android since almost 7 Years and the Patch is the Product of enhancing custom ROMs to something more than that. Calling it a Mod is like calling a Operation on a Brain slaughtering lol
I will try to explain it a bit.
The Light Patch is the 3rd Version of My Patch System. The Multi Device Support is caused by excluding the Device specific Firmware from the customization which i usually would do with a ROM. The advantages of that are independent OS updates, Multi Device Support, Features which You can't get with AOSP, and it is better to develop than usual Mods or ROMs.
We have planned to create a own AOSP OS and some Apps in the Future which will include the advanced research behind the Patch and everything what i do. It is really hard for Me to describe all that. But i'm going to enhance My Project together with a new Partner and the Light Patch is the first Step on that Way. There will come for sure more Infos, Videos and all possible Things over the Time. And don't run away cause of my English! My Partner speaks a lot better English than Me, so the overall Quality will come over the Time. I'll let him do all the Social stuff here so i can focus on the development (finally). The Main Team is growing and our Maintainers will also get a place in our Org. We will soon have a own Domain with G Suite Service and everything looks bright for our Project.
I hope that wasn't to much bad English for One Post  Just take a look on My very long Changelog and try the Patch. You will not regret it, it is 100% stable if You follow the given Instructions

I decided to try it out of curiosity, pretty much because I flash a lot, and try to stay open to new things. I'm a tinkerer, and I guess that's just part of my fidgety nature. Lol. But, as there's no official maintainer or posts in the development section for our device yet, and English isn't the developers first language, it seems that either flashing or waiting for response from people that have are the best way to get information for now. But if you download the zip and browse through it, there are a lot of things there that should theoretically add to the user experience.
I AM NOT THE DEVELOPER OF THIS ROM NOR A MEMBER OF MOKEE TEAM!!!
The purpose of this thread is to "spread the word" for this ROM so many more users can try it and also that they know this option exists too.
I am not responsible for any damage you may deal to your device since this is just an "repost" of the ROM.If you don't know what you are doing then better don't do it. Or just follow the instructions lol
For bug reports please contact the MoKee team because it is useless if you report bugs to me since i am not a developer but still you can mention them in the comments... That is if there are any
I will update the thread every time a new build comes out. Updates are pretty frequent and I will write the changelog for every update.

The ROM community for this device is huge, it won't get that fast dead
Btw, did you test already the charging speed and/or mobile standby consumption?
At RR, LOS and AICP nearly 70-80% of all users got problems with that, me included
Great ROM and great Team, would like to try this ROM, which you know, the infrared work?

Oh nice, I look forward to it!
Yeah, I also saw your screenshots, but your sim card network seems disconnected, so I thought, it wouldnt drain that fast than in connected mode

I had the drain even when i didn't have Cellular data enabled. But not with this ROM. Will test it for some more days just to make sure.
Some other users report that the Network Standby drain isn't as noticable as in some other ROMs.

Well honestly i don't use the IR and because of that i din't test it. But i can say that the LeEco Remote app isn't pre-installed on this ROM.

I don't know if OTA works because OTA is included as a feature you need to unlock by donating something to MoKee comunity so i didn't do that yet and i don't know if it works.

Thank for spread this Rom. Right now I am stand on Nougat (Omni Rom) because some Oreo Rom what I tested have some weird behavior that Don't fit to me. So I am looking forward this Rom development and I gonna try it very soon...

dear friend, tell me, what frequency does the processor use for large and small cores ?? all firmware do not use all the potential, and I do not want to use kernel and put root or magical, too, I wonder what frequencies? 2100 mhz for small and 2300 for large?

Small cores 1500 and big cores 2100 i think. But i use it 1440 on small and 1900 on big and it runs smooth so at default it should run very well too.

No, 1.6 small and 2.3 for big. You can increase it to 2.1ghz for small, but it's not that way by default. 2.1 has a voltage jump for the small cluster, and I don't think it's worth the minor performance difference.
I don't get it..
I installed yesterday Mokee.
Its very smooth and fast! I activate under battery settings the energy saver.
Yesterday I was 3h outside and my battery drains 17% only.
My SOT was about 1½h.
Tonight, I sleeped without charging it (8h sleep now) and my mobile standby drain is insane, like you can see in attachments.. It went down from 41% --> 29%..
But I will look forward and try to calibrate my battery or maybe someone got a suggestion for it!

Ok
So first review after a few hours
- Nice clean.
- Smooth. No lags.
- Good battery
- a lot of settings: Color, led, volume steps, powermenu, etc
- Gcam, Volte working
- one thing missing: Energy settings in battery.
Real bugs: None till now
Big Question: Does Bluetooth calls work?
Will test tomorrow.
Edit 01-04-2018: Bluetooth calls, Android auto works great.
Sound quality perfect.
No bugs at all!
@Akashsundar Can you rename the threads? So everyone makes use of the same thread, till moderater wipes the other three "wrong" threads.
Edit: suggested is already done, I see...
