Need help with SMD identification - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got this Z2 from a friend, and he has tried to change the screen by himself. The new screen is totally black, and I discovered two missing smd's near the lcd connector. Z7001 and Z7002, anybody knows what these are?

Strange yellow lines in the AMOLED screen

Hello!
I have just bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy S II.
Unfortunately, one of the first things i noticed upon unpacking it is that the screen has some strange gold colored lines in the upper part of the screen.
The lines are most visible when bright light is shone onto the screen e.g. a flashlight a lamp or out in the sun. They are most visible on dark colors or when the screen is turned off.
It looks as though the lines could be some sort of seem lines between two display pieces that are joined or bonded together. Does Samsung patch the screens together from multiple pieces?
I am not really happy about these particular lines that are present in the screen.
Has anyone else noticed such peculier lines in their display?
Hello!
Anyone else have seen this before? Would you accept this panel anomaly if it was your own phone?
Hope to get some response here :fingers-crossed:
No mate. I've never heard about such thing. I recommend u to return it and ask for a new one. It seems to be a rear factory issue.
Send from my GT-i9100 using tapatalk 2.

first do not bump posts, u should have patience ma8
since its brand new, just check with the local samsung service center and see that if its a real hardware issue, and get a replacement of the same
I have just obtained a new factory fresh unit. Shockingly, the screen on the new phone has similar lines in almost the exact same position, although these lines are much less obvious than those in the first unit i got.
What the hell is going on at the Samsung factory or whoever makes the screens, it seems like they have thrown all quality control out of the window.
For such an expensive product to have these flaws is in my opinion unacceptable. There must be a lot of people that has received a phone with the same flaws.
Is there any Samsung representatives here that can comment on this quality issue?

Asus Slider SL101 - Moisture or normal?

Hi guys,
I purchased a used SL101. Every appears to be fine with it but when the device is off and when I push down with a lot of pressure on the screen, I see a weird rainbow effect and it kinda looks like moisture behind the screen.
I did post on another forum about this and I was told it's just the LCD contacting the digitizer but I would like further confirmation.
Here is a video to get a better idea of what I'm on about:

Thanks
Anyone please?
Anyone?
It is the Digitizer touching the LCD. I wouldnt keep pressing the screen like that

[Q] Is this LCD defective? Please advice

Just bought a new LCD to replace the old one (backlight failed) but the new one seems to have some defects. I don't recall seeing those when the failed backlight - but I'm not that sure because it was hard to see anything at all with no backlight.
I bet the LCD is defective but I would like to know someone else's option on this before I return the LCD. Could this be caused by something else on the cellphone or is it definitely the LCD?
See a short video (problem starts around 0:10)
Thanks!

[Q] LCDs and the usual stuff

Hi All
Just started to buy up some old (spare or repair) I9100 phones with the hope of getting at least one which would work fully. I now have the final product but still no working screen! The screen I have looks perfect but shows nothing, I've tried the following:
Shine torch on screen to see if the LCD is damaged (nothing)
putting the screen on a second S2 (nothing, but it is not known if the second one actually works beyond making the right noises on start up)
Cleaned off all the connectors
I really don't want to take the screen off the frame so I wanted to know if anyone knows about testing/fault finding on the LCD with a multimeter type set up, like maybe a pin out or test points. Failing this I'm thinking of selling it all back on, so with that in mind does anyone have any advice on the IMEI and what to advertise.
oh and I've got some reasonable images of the LCD connector and some of the resistors which can be seen through the viewing ports in the frame for possible continuity tests.
Thanks in advance.

Resistors numbers

Two days ago i dropped my phone
The lcd gone weird then its all black after a while so i went for lcd replacement
The telephone is working but no touch or lcd
What i actually found that due to compact i lost all resistors above the lcd flat cable " above the connectors" about 5 of them
So if can anyone give me either schematic map for the motherboard or a clear photo of this part so i can replace them
And yes i have lots of motherboards that i can find these tiny components all i want to find the numbers or the color of it
Thanks in advance
Find Xperia M4 Aqua screen replacament and watch carefully
