just curious as to how the development is going? anyone have any sort of updates (before ya start to flame me about me needing to wait, not rush the developers, etc... i am not rushing anyone or getting impatient, im just curious as to how its going)

I personally think it will be a while yet before an SD build is avaliable, but then again I don't know if running Windows Mobile 6.5 from SD will be a very viable way to use the OS. I mean it is a a lot different from Andriod in a lot of ways as car as the actual stucture, size, and demand on the processor. I do know as well as everyone else that DFT anounced they are working on it wich is awsome, and ic anyone can do it they can. But I think we still have a long wait before we get to see the fruits of thier labor. Oh and here, I also seen another thread a little wbile back but I could not find it.
Just wondering if anybody has heard anything on this. I know Samsung is known to drag their feet when it comes to updating to the latest OS
Ive not heard anything, however, im not so bothered about 3.2...... Id be very excited to hear a promise of ICS

I know HTC has sent out a list of which phones will get the upgrade to ICS, but it seems like they completely ignore the Flyer or View...they didnt state whether they will upgrade it or wont upgrade it.
Anyone know of any rumors or something? If it gets the upgrade great, if it doesnt i wanna know so I can start looking elsewhere.
Somebody with over 600 posts here should know better than to ask this question, instead of doing a search, or just browsing around for a couple minute. This exact topic has already been discussed at great length in other threads.

So, my question is to all developers that are still interested in the old Hero -
IS IT POSSIBLE TO COOK SOME WEBOS BUILD FOR THE HERO?
Since the WebOS is now opensourced, I guess we all can find some workarounds to make this happen...
By the way, I LOVE the interface and the way WebOS works... Don't you?

I don't think so, cause Hero does not have unlocked bootloader like HD2, and WebOS is working on else architecture, that there aren't drivers and kernel for hero.
We can unlock the bootloader, there was a topic about it in the development section not too long ago. The main problem i think is that we don't have that many devs any more :/

Now, I'm doing great with jb leak, so....don't care much about when it's actually rolling out.

And you expect anybody here to believe that you used search option before creating this ridiculous thread????
Firstly use search in future we already have plenty of these topics, no need for another.
Second, how on earth do you expect anybody to answer your question if Samsung wont even answer it??
It will be out when its out, simple as that. Any other answer is just simply a guess so you may aswell guess yourself instead of asking others to do it for you.
