...They are so small that is almost impossible to see them but if I crank the brightness up to 100% I see small green dots(they must be stuck). Also I get a weird behavior when trying to put the blue stock wallpaper i get a pink bright spot next to the apps button. Will update with pictures. There a lot more but right now the other camera I have is my wife iPhone 6s. Dang LG! I love this phone, its everything I've ever wanted but your QC is BS. My warranty is out so am stock with this for 6 more months before the jump thing with Tmo.

But my warranty is out(English is not my primary language)... Apart from the obvious light bleed issues the dead pixels are driving me crazy, I counted more than 12...
You should have exchanged it when you first bought it. LG should warranty replace this so I don't see why you say it's out.
Made me look.......was worried for a few minutes. Get TMO or LG to replace. I've seen posts where LG is trying to do well for unusual quality issues.

Talk to Tmo people they are going to replace it, I don't want an RMA though...I've had others LG phones in the past and those came with dead pixels too(verizon's spectrum 2, G2, Optimus 2X)...Its a quality control issue...wont recomend to anyone...also you wont see it unless the brightness its all the way to 100% and you need to look very very close to the screen, a magnifier should help too.
Did that. That many phones of yours had issues? You must have insulted the great pixel peeper fairy.... Hope you your replacement is good.

Helo though it's almost a month since i discovered this and i am sure i did not notice it during the initial days.On miui as well as cuatom roms. What should I do? Can the service centre solve this... Well i think No but they said a software flash from their side will solve this. Here r some pics.
One thing for sure the lcd panel is one of the worse screens i ever see.

Tianma display too? Are there more buggy pannels? which pannels can have mido and which is the best?
Thanks and sorry if I'm bothering
I have a BOA panel lcd and i have image persistence on it, seams like permanent but not so visible like yours.
Also i have 5-6 stucked pixel and 2 death pixel on panel.
Tiannma is for sure better then boa bcs boa suffering from death and stucked pixles.
I had the same issue(Tianma) just notice it using Custom Rom..but on Miui unnoticeable.. I'm gonna go to Service centre for them to replace my lcd
I have the phone for few months (BoA panel).. no screen burn, no stuck/dead pixels.
Yes, you must claim warranty, and you will get new lcd, free, it's the same problem with my burn in screen, and I claim warranty, and get new lcd, free.

above post I quote to make conclusion, also it`s happen to me (Tianma)
1. It`s rareeee IPS has burn in issue, so we need technical information about this instead of made assumption
2. It`s happen not only Tianma, BOA also
3. Replacing LCD/claim guarantee not fix your problem,
4. Mainly shows in Custom ROM, but recently in MIUI also (MIUI 9 beta)
I check
5. The problem in Nougat ROM since I don`t face in MM
6. I get the some report in other phone/brand facing the same issue in IPS Nougat
7. So, no`1 it`s best answer, we need technical explanation!

Maybe try above suggestion but I don`t try it yet
Some phone has and other don`t, same like one ROM good to other user and other not, the behavior using the phone is different
But try ask your friend to use Lineage 14, In my case 98% can reproduce the issue, but check after some times not immediately, I think open the page in white background long enough will reproduce the problem. Also check it in reading mode
Using MIUI MM ROM fix the issue permanently for me, so far.

Its a manufacturing defect from Xiaomi's side. The dead/stuck pixels are the common issue of 'Made in India' Redmi note 4 devices.

I too had a RN4 with the exact same issue. Purchased it from Flipkart. My phone's screen had 17+ dead pixels (more you notice, more you find). And I did replace the phone when I noticed the screen problem. Soon I got a new device as a replacement from Flipkart, but unfortunately the new one also had the same dead/stuck pixel issues.[emoji28]

It took 45 min at Mi Exclusive Service(Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, India) centre if they have spare part available. Try to visit as early as possible at Mi Exclusive Centre (not those multi brand service centre).
Yesterday I went to the mi exclusive service centre in virar as you know that stuck Pixels are very less visible in a lighted room even though on a black background they didn't even notice. After this I convinced them to make the roomba little dark by closing some lights so that it will be visible to them as soon as they saw it they accepted the fault and told me that they will do a physical damage or water damage check water damage check is indicated by the sticker placed the mobile the sticker is originally white in colour but if water gets access to it it automatically turns purple or red colour as my device didn't experience anyone of these issues they had to replace it.It took them 1hr 30mins for this process and I got a new display without any pixel issues the people on the counter were not much educated but my issue is solved so I am satisfied just take a copy of invoice and your phone good luck

Same thing happened with me. So i flashed official rom, went to the service centre and got it replaced. But a advice take a book or something to pass time coz for me it took 3 hrs.
I flashed the leaked Oreo rom on my redmi 5 plus via twrp... after booting up my display went kinda wierd.. like it shows shadows inside the screen.. like if I'm in the homescreen but it shows the mi logo inside the display like a shadow... and my display colour went a bit darker.. and looks like the resolution dropped too.. so I flashed official rom via mi flash tool.. but it stills the same prblm.. and in my display, all the 4 edges turned white colour.. any solution pls? I'm so worried
Yeah, some users reported their screens got damaged when they tried the leaked oreo beta rom

i've tried to flash to another rom both via twrp or miflash but the screen is still burn. so i went to service center today. they replaced my lcd panel.
I'm having the dreaded touch lag issue on my poco device.
I've sent it back for repair or refund but they refuse to do anything since the touch tests pass.
I tried explaining them my previous 3 years old device is fine and that the poco which is much newer and faster should do this and they don't listen to me, they say that the device is working like the manufacturer intended for it to work.
So, can anyone record a video?
It should only take 2-3 minutes to record and upload. Do it in 480p it doesn't matter as long as it shows the issue.
There are 2 ways to do it, the correct way, and the fast way, I'll write both.
1) Go to about phone, kernel version, tap a few times then CIT testing app will open. (if it doesn't open try again)
Then go to the top right and press the three dot menu, then additional tools, then touch sensor.
Then tap really fast on the edges of the display. If your device is working as intended the touches should all be registered.
2) Download realdrum, and tap really fast on the below drums on the edge of the display, If your device is working as intended the drums should register all the inputs without missing.
Again it's urgent, so I could use all the help I can.
Thank you.
Did you tried your device without a case? I read about cases doing this issued.

Is your device working correctly?
Could you upload a video?
Here's an example video of what the problem looks like.
Ignore that the language is not english, the video was recorded for the shop to see.

I feel for you. All the 7 pocophone I have tried have this annoying issue. I've complained and asked people about it, and who claims that theirs is working fine is either using Swiftkeyboard (which isn't as fast as Gboard), or simply doesn't know how to test this properly. Maybe they just don't notice it at all, but I doubt there's a single pocophone without this bug, and this is what made me give up on the phone.

God damn it Xiaomi, how can they release a faulty device and take no responsibility for it?

2 returned from a retail store, 2 from amazon, 1 that I tried from a store and 2 more from friends of mine. It's absurd how bad their quality control is. They claim that it's software, just like they claimed the screen bleeding was part of the phone. They're a ****ing joke.
Do you have a screen protector on , or to be more specific, a tempered glass one with the black band? If so this is your issue because the black band is slight raising the contact. Have you tried pressing the device harder to see it it registers?

Most of the units if not all have this problem, I canceled my order for this phone recently and I'm glad that I did. Xiaomi had to save on something and they did, sadly on the screen. Screens from tianma are known for their not very good quality ( rumors say that they catch afterimages after time ) and it feels bad that it turned out that this phone is a big no no. Screen is a numero uno thing when it comes to a phone, damn u look and type on it so despite the great specification this phone is a crap. People all over miui forum write threads that their pocophones have input lag and ghost touches. Xiaomi knows about it and since a month clam that they gonna fix it via ota updates. Let me tell you something they won't. It's not possible to fix it because it's a faulty digitizer that causes the problem which is obviously a part of the hardware. That's what happens when you try to rock the world with the best spec budget smartphone and u cut costs in the lcd panel area. With all that being said, don't fall for this phone. If you look for the good phone for 300 bucks then better option imo is for example Lg g6. Don't get fooled and stay open minded guys, peace.

Good decision, refund this crappy phone and get something better. When it comes to me xiaomi just lost a supporter and follower, once Hugo Barra left xiaomi everything started to fall apart ( mi mix 2/2s are not as revolutionary as the first mi mix was or the mi 8 which is nothing else than a iphone x copy ). It's always good to wait and see the very first 3 months after a phone release, usually after this time most of the fails/cons come out. Have a good day anyways

Well, it doesn't change the fact that lcd panels in pocophones are poor quality. I don't really believe that they managed to fix it via updates, only time will tell after let's say a month if the problem is fixed. I don't think that it will, it's better to send the phone back, get ur money and wait. There are way better options for example the aforementioned one plus 6.
Working fine for me
For me it is working fine. I can't see the blue line which show the position but the touch is working fine even when I tap it fast. The touch is always registered without the blue lines. You can always see a red dot where you touched.
