Unlocked and rooted, US version, running custom rom. I'd like to update to the latest firmware - where can I download it? When I check the version, it tells me no update available.
I want to know how I can get the info which firmware was installed after the buy on my SGS4.
The code (*#12580*369#) shows the installed firmware version only and the manufacturing date (for me 2014.03.03).

I have a htc one m8 AT&T version. It is completely stock but i plan to unlock and flash soon. my question is a firmware based question. My phone has 4.4.2 kitkat and software version 1.58.502.1 (firmware version?). Which rom will work with my firmware version?

Neither link is going to help you. You want a software 1.xx based ROM, but you will see the first thread you linked just goes to the 2nd link (if you look under the "Download section" it refers you to the main thread, which only has links to 2.xx based ARHD).
Either you will need to find an older version of ARHD (either previously posted, or ask for it) or update your firmware. Really, the 2nd option is preferable as you will find that most ROMs have moved on and require the newer firmware.

Odin is failing and I'm not sure whether this is a limitation or something I'm doing wrong.

Not the full package. You can extract the csc.img and rootfs.img and flash them. But the modem will still be AT&T.

You would have to check if it supports them and get AT&T to unlock it.
Hi all, just now I got a system update to Custom Version DT.NLD 8.0.0.303(CT.F01).
It showed up in settings-system update and showed this version with an T-Mobile picture, no details in text. Im still on Oreo 360 but now I have the custom version with it as well. Can someone tell me what it is?
Only difference after installing was a TakeAway app was installed and there is a app called Provisioning Message in the Tools folder.

not sure but might be a custom version of the firmware provided by a local carrier.
if your phone is owned by a carrier, they might build these and provide these as updates.
