Did you flash the latest STOCK firmware or a custom firmware? Did you "dirty flash" or flash twice with a factory reset between them?

HELP, my S3 keeps rebooting after startup, cant wipe data/factory reset from CWM also

Hi,
Please give me some help guys,
After installing an app from a torrent (dont know if its related but it happened after installing and opening it) my phone keeps restarting every time, it boots up normally but after just about 5 seconds in the home screen it reboots again. I need to pull out battery to get it stop rebooting.
I've entered in CWM, but cant wipe data/factory reset, when I choose that option it appears "wipping /data" and it just reboots again. I cant also format /data from advanced options. Also, when /data is mounted I cant unmount it also from advanced options. Can wipe cache and dalvik cache but not data. Cant use the phone!
I have Omega v36 with superSU and CWM touch in it. How can I solve this?
Happened to me once also. Idk which app you installed but I had installed privacy guard and it resulted in a boot loop. The 5 seconds it gives you at start, try to go in settings then applications and uninstall the app which caused this. Took 15 minutes of me trying and I lucked out and uninstalled it. Phone been fine after that

I've tried, but as soon as I hit the "unninstall" the phone reboots. I guess trying to interact with something in /data makes it reboot.
App + torrent = probable malware .
Flash stock rom via Odin is the first step .

flash latest i9300 stock rom via odin and after f-reset.find rom here
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3
Try safe mode.
Safe mode will boot only stock apps, apps which were installed by ROM.

Well, things have gone worst, i've entered in safe mode and choose factory reset from settings, now the phone keeps rebooting, show the green robot of factory reset for 2 seconds and then reboots again. Now cant even get in the samsung logo neither in recovery or download mode.
Now, is there a solution for this? Have removed the battery for about 5 minuts but it stays the same.

Thanks, I've solved the problem!
I had the same problem but finally fixed because this thread ,thank god
My problem fixed by :
1- enter download mode - connect ur phone to pc via original usb cable , open odin
2- flash The Stock recovery with Odin 3.4 in PDA button
3- Enter your stock recovery to wipe everything " data / cache/ dalvik " .
4- now enter again download mode and connect the phone again to pc .
5- flash the Stock Rom through PDA button and leave all checks as it is
6- after finishing it will reboot by it self to find your phone back to life again
7- Enjoy
I am going crazy!

I am having this same problem with my ACE 3 Duos, and it is DRIVING ME NUTS!
I searched all over the internet
- It starts up normally then reboots within 2 - 4 seconds
- I managed to let it start on SAFE MODE it didn't work! still rebooting!
- I wiped the cache and it didn't work
- I am leaving the Factory Reset as a last option ((cause I didn't back up my data and I have bad experience with back ups))
- much important info on my phone ((about my work)) and don't wanna lose that
- I think I can save it cause it is booting normally then something goes wrong

Blue Screen and Phone Reset

Hi,
After I rooted my device and install CWM, my phone encounter this issue.
After I turn it ON, it will stay for about 2~3 minutes and after that, screen going blue and suddenly auto restart.
This keep repeating until battery run out.
Any idea whats going on & how to settle this?
btw, i'm using method from this thread to rooted my device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494471
Get either PhilZ or a more recent CWM from here and flash again:

If it doesn't solve, download stock ROM from http://sammobile.com and flash through Odin; after that root again your device

[Q] Screen Turns off at Language Choosing screen when i flash any ROM

Hello,
I just rooted and flashed a new ROM via TWRP recovery, everything went very smoothly until the Language Choosing screen comes, the time i chose language and press NEXT, the screen turns off and everytime i have to take out the battery and then the phone turns off, otherwise screen is off but the phone keeps on working.
Thanks in advance.
Boot into recovery and wipe cache.
Then try.
Boot into recovery and do a system wipe (restore).
Then try.
Oden a stock rom and try again.
Good Luck!

The Phone screen is not turning off (F3212)

So i followed the thread on how to root xperia xa ultra duel in here https://forum.xda-developers.com/xa-ultra/how-to/how-to-root-xperia-xa-ultra-dual-t3439173
but after rooting and doing all steps after booting the device and checking it's functionality I noticed that the front camera is not working and it crashes everytime
so i wanted to flash a new firmware but my flashtool kept saying "no flash script found" and aborted the flashing >>so i waited for a new boot and the creator "rrvuhpg"
made a new boot for the test in here https://forum.xda-developers.com/xa...12-f3216-stock-kernels-built-sources-t3527762
flashed it using adb and rooted the device one more time and booted the phone again now there are 2 problems while the camera problem is fixed
the screen won't turn off completely and after clicking the power button to turn it off it turns into a very dark screen "not noticeable in high light but in low light u can clearly see it's on"
and when i try to click the power button to turn it on again it does this weird TV like static and shows the normal screen afterwards
and the brightness level meter is always at the maximum and can't be changed so my phone battery dies very quick now
I need help because I can't flash anew firmware and i have to stick with "Battery Killer" setup i have right now so i need help with both flashtool and a fix for the boot or just a way to recover my stock firmware
i checked one more time and i found out that the twrp can't wipe cache partition and if i factory reset the phone it doesn't work and all data remain

Samsung Change Outdoor mode, and it have Bug

After 2 weeks trying fix bug brightness ( can't adjust brightness, the brightness is always 100% bright, and have a blitz in top screen when turn on screen) with my J7 Prime and many j7 prime user have same problem.. i have guest it's problem is from latest Update firmware by samsung who change out door mode from tick untick to slider mode..
that changing mode making bug brightness when try changing any firmware or any costum rom who still use outdoor mode with tick untick.. soo to fix it bug is only flash it with the latest firmware with outdorr mode slider..
Even when just flash twrp this bug will come again because in twrp have brightness adjuster and it make conflict with that mode changing..
I try wipe and format in system, data and i realize that brightness setting is still there with download and recovery mode so useless to try any think for me who doesnt know about it.. hope some one dev or any one can fix it so we can changing and install any costum rom and install twrp without geting this bug.
And i'm telling it again even we flash to the first and old one firmware that bug will still there.. until we flash it with the firmware with slider outdoor mode.
