Trial and Error. Everyone's eye is different.
Can we just close this thread already. He shared the link to gcams modded to work on snapdragon and exynos devices. The same list that has been around forever in the s8 thread for the very same thing.
Now it's a bunch of crying and whining..
Thread cleaned and closed.
Disrepectful posts everywhere and thread no longer needed.

Hey guys, I have appreciated the video reviews posted here so I thought I would do one myself. This video review is for the Samsung Muse. There are hardly any reviews online so i thought i would give an in depth look. Here is a link to the video review:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlpDvtDCCDc&feature=youtube_gdata_player
The Muse is on sale for 50 on Samsung, and 60 from Amazon. In short, its a great item if you simply need a lightweight, inexpensive mp3 player, but for every day use you might as well stick with your phone.
This is my second YouTube video, so there is much room for improvement. I plan on continuing to review various android hardware and accessories should you wish to subscribe. Let me know if you have ideas!
I have an idea.

There isnt a muse forum. This is compatible with the note 2. Thanks for the appreciation though!
Maybe the accessories forum.
Its just not going to get any exposure here.

I started a thread here in this forum earlier today stating that the G2 is an awesome phone. Someone else chimed in with similar thoughts.
I visited back here a few hours later and the thread is gone.
Is it against forum rules to communicate why you think the G2 is a great phone?
Please advise!

The first place I went was my list of threads.
The thread in question was removed - there's no sign of it.
I went and pulled up an email alert that someone responded to my thread. In that email is a link. The link is broken.
Moderators? Why pull down a positive thread about the G2??
Here's my post that was taken down. Someone point out what's wrong with this post....
I've been an Android fanatic from the start, and came to the G2 in early November 2013 from a totally tweaked-out Galaxy Nexus. I don't want to admit the time I spent over the years with custom ROM"s, custom kernels and endless tweaks.
Enter the G2.
I keep this phone bone stock - never considered rooting it. I have to say that it's been a pure joy to own and use. I was a bit frazzled with the early "erratic touch" issues with the screen, but VZW/LG addressed that for my G2 in an update.
I find the phone to be fast as hell, the screen is nothing short of gorgeous, call quality is excellent, the overall phone design is beautiful, and I actually like - and count on - some of the LG included apps. The battery life is unbelievable, which is especially remarkable given the size of the screen.
So, for me, the G2 is a breath of fresh air after years of futzing with Android phones. IMO, it's an amazing phone that continues to be a blast to use without any of the downsides of my previous Android phones.
Had to share some G2 love.
It was probably pulled because it was pointless drivel.

Thats not a film thats literally just some 4k footage of a forest that was then downgraded by making it black and white and then put to some music. Anyone can do that
There are dedicated photo and video threads out there already. Perhaps share this in one of those? :good:

Hola
Many of us I know signed up, most of us did not get in due to limited space. Bottom line there must be a few out there that got it. I am not sure of the so called NDA that was required, but I am hoping some can provide some very high level feedback.
1. Generally stable? Enough at least for usage as your daily driver?
2. How close to stock Android is it? For example, same battery management interface? Onscreen buttons? Minute vibration controls? Camera improvements?
3. Root available? I saw from some pictures issued on the ZTE Chinese forum showing a warning about having rooted device on a Nougat preview.
4. Any noticeable improvements in cellular reception? Actual dBm values would be nice.
It is just to give us a indication that ZTE US is at least not only bringing Nougat to our phones BUT the skinning and functionality and stability is ok.
I'm surprised the firmware itself has not leaked already.
Hello, I have Nougat and can provide some feedback from it.
I'd love to hear as well

Watch out, people are already complaining on Z Community about what had been said.
According to one of the testers it is still MiFavor. Wow, can't believe I was fooled into thinking they actually cared with their "stock android discussion". Guess I have to flash CM and live with its bugs.

The 7.0 ROM has been in works for months. They released an early preview (screenshots) to the Chinese forum months ago -- of course it was still going to be MiFavor. The discussion poll about stock android for R&D was literally only like 2 weeks ago. If people think ANY company can just turn on a dime like that, then they clearly don't understand how companies work or how software is developed at that level.

I was one of the people complaining and I don't regret it. They're going to cancel this if you all don't shut your mouths unless ruining this for everyone is your thing. In which case, keep it up.
Moderator please close this thread as well.
This is not your thread... Not that anything is really going on in here anyway.
+1 on closing this thread.
Don't complain ZTE doesn't listen to us or play by the rules, when they are reaching and the first thing you do is break trust.
Earn it first, then complain after that.
+1 closing this thread
Why close this thread? This has no real bearing on the ZTE beta. If someone on the test panel screws up, that's on them. It's totally legit to be curious about the new OS. IMO anyway.

Thread closed. Sorry guys, but if the testers signed an NDA, then there is no point to thus thread. NDAs are legally binding contracts and a breach may invite legal action avainst involved parties... For everyone's sake, lets close this and respect the NDA..
I have no clue where media and other forums ASSume that this feature is the same as the s9s video lock screen feature. This more is like doing a pixel, i gotta have it features, and making us feel stupid. They assumed it suppose to come with the new june security patch. This feature has always been on the note 8. Someone give light to this. https://www.gsmarena.com/video_lock_screen_from_samsung_galaxy_s9_now_available_on_galaxy_s8_and_note8-news-31983.php

anyone input. the only thing worse than a bad assumption, is a bad decision. What i am asking is logical and sound. There are other threads if this one doesn't fit one's fancy.
Seriously, why even respond? If you don't like what we say you ll just be condescending as your other posts. Also, expecting a response in two hours is ridiculous!

Why not email gsmarena or the author of the article if you believe it is incorrect? What can XDA users offer if we didn't write it? Come on.

nope just clarifying video lockscreen has been around, and sooner or later, there will be an agreement.
I can at least confirm that the video backgrounds in the Galaxy Apps store only appeared after the June update. Never saw them before that on my Note 8.
Looking further, it appears there are three different types of "moving pictures" wallpaper:
- Animated (Still image with some moving objects)
- Motion (Appearance changes when you tilt the phone left & right)
- Video (Plays up to 15 seconds of video on the lock screen).
We've had the Animated and Motion wallpapers since launch (or at least well before now), but the 15 second video wallpapers IS new, and that's the feature that was first seen on the S9.
So, before you "ASSume" the writers of the article didn't know what they were talking about with this feature being new to the Note 8, maybe you might want to try being more polite in your choice of words when you're confused about something; lest it leave you with egg on your face. Lastly, please don't engage eachother... it just makes things worse for everyone. Please use the report button instead.

Note 8 has never had video lockscreen. All motion lockscreen before were multiple pictures in rotation.

Once you have the June update you're good to go. Either search for video wallpapers in the Samsung Theme store, or find a video in your gallery, tap the 3-dot menu, then select "Set As Wallpaper" I believe.
