Disable "Require PIN after restart" feature - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had created a private space in Honor 8 pro, and had set a private space PIN and a finger print. And i was using only my finger print for a while to open private space.
Now i forgot private space PIN and as my device restarted its forcing me to enter PIN and not accepting my fingerprint.
is there any way to use rooting (root access) and disable this feature of "Require PIN on restart" feature? so that i can use my fingerprint to login.

Prevent app from getting info if I use a lockscreen with passcode

I'm on Android 7 with a rooted phone.
I do not use any lockscreen protection like password or pattern.
An app I use now wants me to enter my password every time I open it, because it tells me my phone is no secure, because I don't have a lockscreen password.
How do I prevent this app from getting this information? I'm not really into some app telling me what I should do with my phone.
Thank you.

Mate 20 pro default authentication method

Hey guys I am wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to choose a preferred method of authentication for logging into some apps? Like my bank app only shows the fingerprint method to login is there anyway to choose face unlock over fingerprint login?

How does Face-Unlock integrate with apps? Does it replace/know my master-passwords?

Hello everyone,
I am looking forward on using the Face-Unlock feature to not have to manually write all my different 27 digit password for banking, keepass,...
How ever, I really wonder how all this works and how this is still secure. For example "KeePass":
- I have a Keepass database with a master password for the database
- No one except me knows what password and it isn't saved or written down anywhere else
- Currently I enter the password, KeePass will test if it is the correct input for decryption, and if so, it will decrypt.
This is the point where I would want to use Face-Unlock in the feature.
So does my KeePass database then have two password (1x master password and 1x my facial scan)?
Or will I will to tell "Android" my master password for all my apps and it will store it somewhere in Android and simply "pass it on" to KeePass if the Face-Unlock is verfied?
I am asking because I do not want any app or system or whatever to save my master password as this might cause security risks that no one can really evalute.
Also I wouldn't want to add a second unlocking feature to my KeePass databe (the facial scan). Because it might be less secure than my master password and there for weaken the encryption of my database?
Thanks in advance!

Installation of apps only after fingerprint authorization possible?

Hi there,
on my iPad, I can set it up so that all apps (including free ones) are installed only after a fingerprint. Can I set this up on Android as well? I only found the option that purchases require fingerprint authorization. But I want any installation possible only after fingerprint authorization.
How can I adjust that?
Thanks!

Question Face recognition for apps

I have turned on face recognition on my A7 Lite and it works for unlocking the tablet but apps that require a password still prompt for the password. Is there a way to configure them to use face recognition instaed, just as they do if the device has a fingerprint reader?
