Hy guys,is there any app that canbhelp me with lock/unlock my phone? My power button is broken so I want to buy a phone case which can help me with lock/unlock my phone with proximity sensor. Like cover and uncover screen phone.thanks
The only way to lock the screen is to push the power button. Now, depending on the Lumia you own, you can use double tap to unlock and set the screen timeout to ~ 1 minute. That's probably as close as you can get to what you want.

there is no app, and no way unless you have an interop unlocked phone... the SDK simply doesn't provide such functionality... sorry mate :/

Hi there. Not sure what happened but double tapping on the home sceen to sleep does not work. Both gestures are turned to ON. I can only wake the device using 2-tap.

Hi. I replaced my broken display (and digitizer) with a new one on my mate 10 pro. So after i replaced it started to detect simple touch as knuckle touch (knuckle touch is a special type of touch with your knuckle on huawei phones that is used for screenshots, split screen and more...) . When i drag or touch screen , sometimes it draws blue lines. So i decided to permanently disable knuckle gestures. And guess what? After i disabled all of them screen didnt work at all. I had to connect usb-to-typec mouse to my phone to activate knuckle gestures again so that screen would work.
What can i do about it? Maybe reset everything and install android pie with different rom, cause i think EMUI is awful. Will it help or its just a hardware issue? I've read that some tehnicians do hard reset after screen replacement, maybe i need too?
P.S. There are 3 knuckle gestures : Split screen ,screenshot and app draw open. If i disable two of these and let one be enabled, then screen works. If i disable all of them screen doesnt respond to touch anymore.

There is no native double tap to wake on this phone.
There was! 4 days ago i could wake the screen with double tap..now it's 1 tap only

Not seeing it anywhere that I'm looking. Where was that option?
If you double tap it just feels like it works even though it's the first tap that activates the screen
Also noticed something today the tap to wake won't work in the following cases:
1. Strong light.
2. covering the top of the screen.

the covering of the top of the screen is intended to stop it from turning on in your pocket
by mean covering, not even touching the screen, also happens in strong lignt
