Hello,
I've tried some icons for Emui 8, but everytime i switch to other icon set apps like Gmail, Drive, Youtube remain the same ugly round icons. Is there an option to change google apps icons as well?
I don't like round icons, it looks bad. Not a big thing, but if there is possibility to switch, I'd be happy to do this.
Stock themes are not round icons. So not clear how you ended up with Oreo round icons.
Well, not all icons are round. Just bought this phone and icons were round out of the box. I'm on stock theme right now.
just noticed Soundcloud icon is round as well.

Not themed icons has additional layers in Oreo, square or circle (provided by Google).

Probably only solution is to use icon pack that covers most of your apps...
Use theme editor and Oreo icon pack

Hey, after I themed my phone with the Honeycomb theme I wanted the Gingerbread icons but blue for my dock in LauncherPro. I couldn't find any like that anywhere so I made my own using the icons from this thread and just used "replace color" in Photoshop. Thought I'd share if anyone else wanted blue icons.

Sure, here you go
Otherwise it's available on Zedge, that's where I found it, just search for "mycolours blue".

I found a very simple way to get a horizontal launcher, using simply a glitch I found within an app.
Firstly, install Notification Toggle (i'm using v.2.6.4).
Add the 'Rotation' to the notification bar.
By preference change the status bar icon to a battery percentage.
Go to a stock app that supports a horizontal view (e.g. settings, Conversations).
Toggle the Rotation using the status bar.
Lock it at horizontal.
On my Xperia Ray, the launcher was then horizontal.

(Sorry, I'm new).
thanks for that i've tested it before and it's working very good......
note: please download xperia icon pack in the last 2 packages in the notification toggle icons downloader which is made by me to be more compatible with xperia devices.

Hi I'm having a problem with the status bar in my poco f1, it's showing a dark transparent background, would want to revert back to the stock fully transparent status bar. The only apps I recently installed and deleted recently were the power shade app and navigation gestures. Tried reverting it back via the xiaomi themes app but after a while it would revert back to the dark transparent background for the status bar.
Haven't u checked hide notch in the full screen options?

Turn off dark mode in apps you installed, one by one. I had the same issue but the culprit in my case was the dark mode in Android Messages so therefore turning it off fixed the problem.
Thanks for the reply! It was the dark mode in Android messages causing the abnormal behavior!
Gray status bar...Off
How to turn off dark mode in PocoF1....To get rid of grey transparent bar in status Bar....
Hello, I have a Moto X4 Android 9 and I would like to change the white colour of the Chrome Search Bar widget by a transparent one, or black, for example.
Would it be possible to do this, like the image that I have attached and I have seen surfing this website for a Moto X4 Android 9.0 ?.
Thanks in advance!

Google app > more> customize widget>
can we remove it all together?
Not without installing a different launcher.
Nova Launcher (latest) should do it (without unlocking BL or root, etc.) with stock rom. My Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite running Android One Pie, stock is happy with Nova Laucher ... more ways to tweek & customize homescreen, grid layout, etc. Very good experience & results with NL before I sold the Nexus 6 and traded the Nexus 6P into Google Fi for the Moto X4. Once set, the layout can be locked & backed up, etc.
Lawnchair is the other Launcher that also work on the XM A2Lite.
I have an issue where the clock widget does not match the Material You theme I have selected. The clock widget shows the correct color when selecting it, but when it is placed on the screen it does not match.
I talked to Google support yesterday and they say this is normal. If it is, it just makes no sense and is a pretty big oversight if you ask me.
Here's some screen shots showing what I mean.

There is the clock widget as it appears on the home screen
There is what the color should be and how it is shown when selecting the widget.
There it is when selecting the theme and as you can see, the colors of the widget do not match any of the 3 colors of the theme.
Is this happening with anyone else? If it's normal I will learn to live with it I guess but it just seems really odd.
Thanks!!!
widgets take colors directly from wallpaper and not from monet theme, iirc you can change it with repainter app
