Hi I'm having a problem with the status bar in my poco f1, it's showing a dark transparent background, would want to revert back to the stock fully transparent status bar. The only apps I recently installed and deleted recently were the power shade app and navigation gestures. Tried reverting it back via the xiaomi themes app but after a while it would revert back to the dark transparent background for the status bar.
Haven't u checked hide notch in the full screen options?

Turn off dark mode in apps you installed, one by one. I had the same issue but the culprit in my case was the dark mode in Android Messages so therefore turning it off fixed the problem.
Thanks for the reply! It was the dark mode in Android messages causing the abnormal behavior!

Hi, your work's great. Noob question, arcording to my observation, dev tends not to add screen off toggle into notification center. What's the reason for that???

agree with nk1001.
transparent notification would be better 4me
I found a very simple way to get a horizontal launcher, using simply a glitch I found within an app.
Firstly, install Notification Toggle (i'm using v.2.6.4).
Add the 'Rotation' to the notification bar.
By preference change the status bar icon to a battery percentage.
Go to a stock app that supports a horizontal view (e.g. settings, Conversations).
Toggle the Rotation using the status bar.
Lock it at horizontal.
On my Xperia Ray, the launcher was then horizontal.

(Sorry, I'm new).
thanks for that i've tested it before and it's working very good......
note: please download xperia icon pack in the last 2 packages in the notification toggle icons downloader which is made by me to be more compatible with xperia devices.

Hello,
I've tried some icons for Emui 8, but everytime i switch to other icon set apps like Gmail, Drive, Youtube remain the same ugly round icons. Is there an option to change google apps icons as well?
I don't like round icons, it looks bad. Not a big thing, but if there is possibility to switch, I'd be happy to do this.
Stock themes are not round icons. So not clear how you ended up with Oreo round icons.
Well, not all icons are round. Just bought this phone and icons were round out of the box. I'm on stock theme right now.
just noticed Soundcloud icon is round as well.

Not themed icons has additional layers in Oreo, square or circle (provided by Google).

@fishyfishx
Probably only solution is to use icon pack that covers most of your apps...
Use theme editor and Oreo icon pack

Hey Guys, I'm really exited with my new phone but only thing i was missing when i moved from my Xperia Z5 Premium was battery % in status bar
After a bit research i've found that Poco F1 does not have feature for it, so here's little theme i have modified and made with status bar battery percentage included, i hope you will like it
Q: I have "Themes from third party sources are not supported" problem on my phone, what to do?
A: This is simple yet useful tutorial, just watch it (it's worth it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WM8vqnhzew

Thanks. But now it seems that we can put the battery percentage on status bar.
Its not working on my pie beta 8.12.27..
Even after editing saving and installing... When i apply the theme, it throws the same error on my poco.
Bought a pocophone recently and I noticed that when u drag the notification bar down the font size of the time displayed is too big it clashes with the text below. Any fix for this? Thanks.

Which ROM / MIUI version?
Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
I think it's the one that comes with the phone out of the box, I didn't update it yet as I was waiting for more affirmative feedback.
Using stock ROM with the latest stable version of MIUI 10.0.4.0 and everything looks fine, so I think you should update it

I dunno man I am that kind of person who would wait for a more stable release tho haha. How's the new update going? Especially the battery life?

I think it's because of the Mi Weather App. Reboot your phone and check. If it doesn't work, update/downgrade weather app.
