i'm on B126 firmware (funkyhuawei method)
127(C432) Same here.
Problem is solved with a factory reset
127(C432) Same here. A factory reset didn't do anything. Seems to be a problem with the firmware. Probably have to wait for an update unless someone finds a workaround.
My mate 10 pro is the same on 128 software. Wont save any bluetooth developer settings. Blue tooth sounds crap, it's not even close to my old iPhone for sound quality.
Im having same problem why wont developer options save on my Samsung Galaxy A71, can someone really explain why this is happening when all my software are up to date. I hope this a common issue and will be fixed or is this a defective or hacked phone ?
Developer options not saving on android.

Yesterday my phone suddenly changed the UI.
Is this a software bug or is there an option to change that?
This is somehow weird, never seen this before this is definately sw issue, do a factory reset, or reflash in pc companion/ flashtool, or maybe simply reboot the phone
Thanks for reply!
I already rebooted, but it didn't help.
Why don't you people attach images not those f... Qr codes??
I did a factory reset - solved.
Still wonder how it happend and if there is another way to fix.

It's called stop messing with developer settings. In developer settings there is an option called Force RTL This is for the arbaic world. RTL Means right to left this is how they read. If you tick that option it will go right to left just like your picture..
I normally only change the view settings I know in developer options. Never happened before in last 4 years of using them. I must have pressed it by accident - but good to know how to change it back .
"Save as RAW file" is greyed out on Galaxy S6 Edge after Marshmellow Beta update
Hi
I joined the Samsung Beta program in order to get the latest Marshmellow beta ROM. The feature i most looked forward to is the ability to save images as RAW files. When i launch the camera app and switch to "PRO" mode, the "Save as RAW file" is greyed out and there is no way i could think of, of turning this feature on. I know this is a Beta ROM but i would expect these features to at least be enabled or disabled and not just show up as an option that you can't actually use!
Anyone else has come across this issue?
I was able to turn save as raw on ok...
How bizarre. I also noticed that the "video stabilisation" won't turn on even when selecting FHD and lower. Not sure what's going on. Can you send screen shots of your camera settings and also your software version etc.?
Ok. I just fixed it.
I had to go into the camera settings and click on "reset settings". Once done everything now works as it should.
You can enable it by switching to pro mode, then you have to go to settings, and enable save as raw

My S6 Edge (Marshmallow) suddenly and inexplicably "lost" the ability to shoot RAW files (greyed out, even in pro mode) - resetting the settings brought it back. Surely that's a bug with the camera app?
HI =)
I´ve had my Xperia Z5C for a year, and now a couple of days after latest update the fingerprint option is suddenly gone. I´ve tried to talk to Sony support with zero result, they had me trying to check settings, to try in Safety mode(option gone there too), to clear cace in the app setting of it, and to repair in Sony Bridge for Mac, but nothing has worked. I can find Fingerprint in Settings and Apps, but I cant find it in the settings menu for activating it. Also when I configured the phone after Repair there where a option to set up Unlook-screen and the fingerprint where not mentioned there either. Its just all of the sudden gone. I see that US dont have the option, but I live in Norway so thats not the issue, plus I have had it from day 1 and up until now a year later.
Any suggestions ?

So it doesnt give info that fingerprint hardware is missing in lockscreen if you try unlock phone with fingerprint.
Maybe your option is to flash latest fw to phone with flashtool
Hm... Yeah no, my phone does not give me fingerprint option at all anymore. One day last week when I was about to unlock the screen all I had to do was to swipe(the power button does nothing at all of I try to fingerprint), and when I went to Settings to check it out there wherent any option for Fingerprint anymore... The same result when I had the phone on Safety mode to test there to. No Fingerprint option anywhere. But, when I go to Settings-Apps I can find Fingerprint there. But the option to use it is all gone on my phone now.

ok this is super weird like you've got "EU model" before and not anymore after OTA update?
if this important to you i would try re-flash EU model lastest ROM, maybe with flashtool ithink you dont need root\unlocked BT for flashing stock roms

Yeah, I dont understand what happend. Had my phone for 1year(and its norwegian) and with fingerprint and then all of the sudden the other day when I was going to unlock the screen all I had to do was to swipe. No fingerprint, no code no nothing. Now I cant find the Fingerprint option in my phone anymore. (I only find the application in Settings - Apps - Fingerprint) but no sign of it anywhere else or geting it to work.
I've checked for it in Safety mode, I have tryed Repair in Sony bridge, and I have tryed Factory reset. But still same problem.
My phone is not locked to a carrier, and I dont know about all this flash, roots ect you guys/girls talk about in here, haha. Think I have to take it to the shop... Hate sending away my phone tough

Did you managed to get it back to work?
Sent it back to the shop, they fixed that.
Hello all as the title implies, I would like to ask if you are experiencing too this issue and if there is any solution. For me it is quit important as I can’t have all apps compatible for split view because the “force activities to be resizable” setting inside developer options requires restarting the device to work but here is the problem with Mate 10,if I restart the device all the developer options are reset, so I am stucked with this particular option.

Hello , no it is not. To force all apps to be resizable so that can all work in Split View you need to enable the option in Developer mode and then restart the phone to be activated. So the statement you made is not logical because that option can’t be enabled as after restarting all the options get reset on Mate 10 so it is a dead end. I have tested this on Oneplu 3 ,3T, Note 5 , S7 Edge and Nexus 5X and I had no problem at all.
Oneplus and Nexus are even on Android 8.0 like Mate 10.
This is very serious for me because you can’t have all apps compatible with split view like the other phones I had and I want this for work monitoring purposes ...

Mate 10 ALP-L29 8.0.0.119 (C636)
yes the phone is reset after it restarts. specially noticed this after changing the dpi
I have the same problem with my Mate 9. Developer Options do not stick, but, there is a partial solution. Some of the options there have actual system, global or security variables associated with them. For instance I use tasker to switch on and off the "Mobile data always active" setting by running a shell command as "settings put global mobile_data_always_on 0/1" as needed. If you have adb installed, you can run the list command for each variable set, before and after toggling a setting, so you can later compare the result and figure out which variable you need to set. More info here: http://forum.joaoapps.com/index.php...ings-to-use-in-autotools-secure-settings.210/ Please note, the use of AutoTools is not necessary as a simple shell task would suffice in most cases
With mine, if you turn developer options off, you are still able to change dpi even though developer options are off, if you reset when it's like that, it resets itself. If you turn them on and make the changes again and restart it will stick.
Same Problem with the Huawei P10 with VTR-09 8.0.0.371(C432) (unrooted with TWRP). DPI is reset after every restart. If there is any solution, please tell me, I hate it to use a mobile wich looks like the one from my grandma with that big font size etc.
[EDIT]
Before the previously update it works fine btw.
After updating my Pocophone, apps and notifications don't make any sound. I am also unable to record video, or watch YouTube through the YouTube app, although it does play through the browser, but without sound.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem and or have an idea on how to fix this?
Check if your phone is in DND mode? If not, do a factory reset.

Did multiple factory resets, definitely not in DND.
Fastboot rom again. Maybe corrupted files.

The first roll out of 10.3.5 had a sound bug. Try checking the "check update" in settings again, Poco already is relaunching the 10.3.5 update with no sound bug. If you can't see it, either wait, or go to the mi forums and download the file
Same problem
Is there any fix or update on this issue been experience the same issue for months now.
Same prob.
Any solutio
