I have a non-rooted Asus Zenfone 5 with recent OTA firmware. When I attempt a normal voice call or Skype call the microphone is muted i.e. I can hear the caller but they can't hear me.
Other microphone related activies such as Sound Recorder, Google voice search and Keep voice note work fine. Using a microphone headset doesn't make any difference.
I've searched through every setting imaginable and tried a few mute apps from Google Play and no luck.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Also during phone calls and whatsapp audio recording?
Audio volume of videos is very good, but audio volume of phone calls and whatsapp audio recording is low
Have you checked that all the sliders are up? You can set different audio to different levels.

Audio and Mic are superb, when recording voice memo with in-built voice recorder the voice is loud and clear. The only problem i am facing is with Whatsapp voice recording the voice is very low on both ends. Voice messages i receive from mobiles other than the G5 are very loud and clear. I have contacted Whatsapp and they are checking the problem, i think this happend with Note 3 before and Whatsapp fixed the problem.

it's a known problem with whatsapp, it's the same with many phones, but my G5 is ok, the sound is not superloud, but acceptable, this is also the case with my V10.
I find the V60 hands-free speakerphone volume during call (via Skype call, Whatsapp call, Zoom call, etc.) is too low. I have compared to Huawei M20x, Sony Xperia 1 ii, Black Shark 3, etc. and they are way louder. Using the V60 speakerphone to play from Spotify or watching Netflix is loud enough, but strangely during calls it is not. Is there any way to fix this? Appreciate any suggestions as I really like this phone.
Hello friends. I use junior S21 version (exynos).
When listening voice messages in WhatsApp at maximum volume my speaker makes a crackle (rattle), only at maximum volume. This shows up in some voice messages. As i think it depends on the timbre of the voice.
Youtube video and audio has no such problem. Mp3 music also sounds cool.
Has anyone such problems? Maybe there is a solution.

Does anyone know a call recording app for Android 12 on LG that can record both sides?
Every app that i tried on playstore records only my voice and the sound from receiver is not captured.ie relies only on the device's microphone to record what it hears in general,not the incoming audio.
In the past was way easier,every app worked,even on BT audio.now not even one.
