I can only do it with Power Manager APP with root privileges.

If you're using an EUI based ROM, the default method will not work, since LeEco replaced the default power dialog with their own. On LineageOS based ROM's, you have to long press the power button, and on the power menu, long press the restart option. Then you'll be warned your phone will boot into safe mode.

As the title says, I'm trying to flash 2.3.5 but when I press the three buttons I get the Android System Recovery 3e screen with 4 options instead of Download Mode. How can I fix this?
Hold volume DOWN + Home + Power in that order. Keep ALL pressed until DL Mode, then release all.

yes Volume up will take you into recovery (which will be stock recovery unless you install a custom one)
Volume down will take you into download mode.
Hello there,
currently my galaxy tab works pretty much fine. It boots and I can use it. However, today I wanted to revert it to stock but I simply can't... I can not enter recovery or download mode by pressing power + vol up on boot, simply nothing happens. I can enter CWM recovery by using AOKPs power menu, but bootloader/download mode simply wont work. Any ideas what I can do?
Use the power + vol down combination

Hmm, I've been trying to enter Safe mode to try and resolve a certain issue. I understand you enter that by pressing the volume keys at boot.
However, I got some message called Starting RSD Protocol Support instead. Now, is there any way to safely remove this message?
Take note I can boot up the phone normally without any issues. I'm also running Gingerbread(international).
Thanks!
What is this "safe mode" you speak of?

Thanks for the help but that didn't give me any options to enter Safe mode. Instead, that opens up the Fastboot option.
Still stuck on finding a solution 'cos I kinda need to solve some issue urgently.
Dude, there is no such thing as "safe mode". Learn your terminology.
Also, you entered fastboot because you failed to select the "recovery" option.
my phone is in manual mode mode and every time it boots, it boots in manual mode, i have tried using kies and odin hoping it would help, but still boots in manual mode.
how do i get it out of this mode?
thanks in advance
Manual mode? Not factory mode or safe mode or download mode?

its written android system recovery <3e> in blue.
That's stock recovery.....the only thing I can really suggest is to try reflashing your stock Rom with Odin, if that doesn't work then a factory reset from the recovery menu might be needed, but this will wipe all your data including the internal sd card
Its going to be hard flashing a rom if he cant get into download mode though.
OP, from off, hold vol down, home and power. Can you get to download mode?
Also press volume up, down and home a few times. Make sure they're not stuck down. Recovery is vol up, home and power

Hi, I seen videos of people booting to custom recovery by powering up their phone, and then going to the reset data screen and pressing yes before going to the recovery. But for whatever reason this process doesn't work for me, and I never seen it done on a Verizon G3 model. I'm talking about booting to recovery by holding volume up and then letting go and pressing it once again.
When I try to boot to recovery by powering up my phone, I never get to the "reset data" screen, and instead I get to a LG themed recovery screen but it has no android recovery logo on it. The only way for me to get to TWRP recovery is by going to TiBu and from there choosing reboot to recovery, but that requires me to be able to boot onto Android.
Is there a way to boot to custom recovery on the LG G3 without doing it from Android?
The magic button combo is power + volume down.

Oops, I had that mixed up, it is indeed power+ volume down (I thought I knew what the method is so I didn't say power button earlier). However, I don't see the reset data screen, I go directly to a "system recovery" screen with the options to continue power up, safe mode, fectory reset, wipe cache, and power down. I'm not sure what to do to get to TWRP. Is this how all Verizon G3s work or is it just my phone?

You missed the part at the end of the op where he says he needs to do it at power up. My guess is he can't get into the os because of a bootloop.
