hello guys. i bought this phone thinking that it has 40k basemark x score on high settings while SD835 phone gets 38k. but i am unable to get anything higher than 30k. i believe gsmarena tested all devices on high settings so it cannot be that they tested xperia xz premium on high setting and got 38k while mate 10 tested on medium setting got 40k. i have seen people get upto 44k on medium setting so i believe actual score is 40k or around on high setting. can you guys please test basemark x high setting and post screenshot? im kinda worried if my unit is faulty. i would really appreciate that.

i wonder what have i done wrong. all i did was buy the phone and after few hours of using i rooted it. then unrooted, updated to 126 and after a day rerooted. nothing changed. power save mode is off. resolution is set to FHD. although the UI is really smooth.
it cannot be that my device is faulty since im getting 175k-180k on antutu. and antutu 7 i got around 214k
can you please test GTA sA on max graphics? i noticed the framerate is slow. also in antutu 3d bench the garden seems to keep stuttering.

Before going into benchmarking, do you see something wrong in logs (read them with catlog app), things like as many errors?
Did you ckeck for running apps that could eat cpu, produce heat, and slow the device?
Ending all apps that are eating cpu!

Ok, now I'm worried... Where should I check first ?
- I already checked the logs (with aLogcat), and did not found too many errors (Something about AudioHardwareMSM)
- I looked at the processor business (very approximate translation (found in developers options)), but I fear I'm not the best at reading the result. Is this like the top command in linux (with the CPU load for 1, 5, 15 minutes) ?
- Lastly I took a look at the battery usage. Nothing incredible here, but could have gave a hint...
Oh I forgot : I'm using the interactive governor.

What about battery life ?
Well, I'm going to test, but what I need is a mobile/wireless phone .
Oh, and one more thing : I did not kill any app. Just rebooted the phone before testing : I want to know what my phone can do with all I need activated.
OK, I see a lot of ppl are worried cuz of their score....
That's BS if you ask me. What counts is you experience with the phone. Is it fluid, fast, responsive etc.
Say if you have a scoreof 4K, but the phones is sluggish. What's the point with these opsessive benchmarks then.
It's nice to know your score, but it does not mean that your phone is better than a phone with lower score.
One time, after I applied some tweaks my score dropped from 3K to 2700. And I don't care cuz the phone was faster. Regardless of the score.
TL,DR:
Take your scores as a reference only. Your phone can be fast and responsive even with a 2700 score.
Benchmarks are stress tests. It does not measure user experience

The answer to ur problem is : download a stock rom and flash it...(with flashtool of course)...U'll be fine... :good::good:
OR if have recovery installed : do a factory reset and wipe user data and dalvik cache (instead of flashing)

I am getting Lag and freezes on PubG Mobile. Should i use another Kernel or Rom for better performance? I am using NOS (latest) with stock NOS kernel.

NOS.. but i switched on RR today haven't tried in RR
I have the 2gb version and the game was running perfectly on an older build,I'm trying to figure out if it was from february or december. Now on lates NOS the FPS drops are very frequent until the phone completely freezes,I regret so much that I updated the ROM...I'm trying with Agni now and those 2 older ROMs,but Agni doesn't even have the performance governor...

I'm using AEX latest Nougat build with Darkness Kernel by MOVZX and use GLtools for fake the GPU, game running smooth in medium graphics with high framerate, but sadly we can't set it to high graphic because game will become heavy. I have to test since pubg Chinese version released.

I fixed it, i clean flashed NOS+Radon and used GLTools to set my GPU to an adreno 630 and im playing on the highest graphics possible with 30fps
Playing with high graphics isn't comfortable mate as my experience, but with balance setting and high frame rate is playable. No lag in scope mode (4x/8x scope)
I am on cardinal. Works flawless. Send me bp.
Use Agni with spectrum gaming profile. No lag.

I use fake GPU/Ram Adreno 530 or 630 i dont remember. I use the latest Playstore version. Since a new update i cant play on high settings. I use the option to show FPS and its always 27-30

I am using Samsung galaxy note 3 on Android lollipop
But the game lags too much
Plus my towchwiz home is not working so I have to run the phone on touchwiz easy home
Camera zoom function is not available
Multitasking is not working
And I haven't installed a custom ROM cause I think the s-pen would not work on them

I use NOS from long time. I played pubg in my 2gb ram and things never went smooth. Overall after 2 to 3 matches i have to restart the phone bacuse the game freezes eaither because of network or RAM. YES, 2 gb variant has ram issues while playing pubg. I dont c lag in my freinds 3 gb variant. I recognize the lag from the latest builds ( probably because the gpu blobs were changed ). previous builds there was not so much lag. ( I use realistic shadows mod). There is nothing we can do for 2 gb variant model. we just have to live like this. I just hope no one calls or notifications comes while playing, because that just crashes in middle of game.
Last update rendered the game unplayable on my 2GB Kenzo, 2 FPS until the phone freezed completely. But with this GLTools thingy, I'm able to play it flawlessly, constantly ~30 FPS and no hiccups (on low graphics, didn't test on medium and the low graphics are okish tbh).
So thanks a lot for this trick! It really helps a lot!

DotOS 7.1.2 + Agni Kernel 12.5 + Flux White(Optional)
ROM comes with very good animation, perfect ram management, colour engine, with agni kernel you will get very good battery life. Best part of this ROM is not getting hot even if hours of YouTube watching or normal gaming. NOS
are also very good but heating , poor backup is a big problem.

but this rom has a major issue.. fp bug..
no Fingerprint issue, after first boot , go to Dot Extra-Display- just on and off pocket detection and accidental Touch, thats it
I've been playing the game for about 2 weeks now on the (3+32) and honestly I'm kind of disappointed. Now I'm fully aware that it's easily one of the most graphic heavy game on the play store and the Snapdragon 625 is a mid range processor but even then not being able to have a consistent 30 FPS even at the lowest setting is a bit of a bummer. How has your experience been ?
It has an Adreno 506. Don't be surprised. The 506 is not for heavy gaming, and is certainly not suited to 3D titles. You'll probably have to ask around for kernel tweaks to get PUBG to play better. But you really do need something with an Adreno 509 or higher for decent gameplay. I think the Note 5 Pro handles the game well enough.
Tweaking the kernel gives me stable 55+ fps. Only drawback is battery drains fasbut oh well
I used gltools>fake GPU template>Adreno 540 and set graphics at low and frame rate at high. Constant 30fps and no jitters/lags at all

How do you get 30+ fps?. I get constant 30 with high frame rate setting.
Are there any gltools tweak involved?
I basically overclocked to 2.4gh and switched to performance governor. I dont use gl tools, it not reliable in some games. Also reduce screen size for better performance(dpi) and because it more comfortable to my eyes.

Do you have magisk installed ?
EvoX Android 10 is great too ..very fast ui and great stability..i didn't notice any bugs at the latest build 24/12/2019 ..and the devolopment updates is fast to.

Flash Sensation V4 -it's battery life is crazy on idle - and crazy fast with screen on use V65Hz for screen stablity.
The rom itself battry backep is great too fom my use.

You should go for MIUI ROOM.
It has everything near to what our poco will have after official Q update (actually more) including face unlock.
Battery is very good and ideal drain is minimum.
Daily driver for sure until you want Wide-wine L1.
