Amazfit Bip bad display - Amazfit

The display of my Amazfit Bit watch looks like it has pressed to hard (like you see on a LCD display).
I don't think it's normal behaviour. Latest software is updated.
What can I do ?

Screen problem

Hello
I received my xperia ultra yesterday from expansys.
I found that sometimes de screen dont respond properly, either or its too sensitive, exemple when scroll de contacts list sometimes open one contact, or when i move and icon in the launcher the icon drops, and i put the same pressure all the time.
Or sometimes its irresposive, in the keyboard if touch the same letter with the same pressure, sometimes register the press, others (1 of every 8 or 10) dont.
I dont know if its a defective unit or its a common issue.
Any help?
Thanks
What firmware version are you running?

There seems to be a lot of discussion about our units and their issues or lack of issues.
I have never had a SOD (screen of death) or any sensitivity issues. Not on any firmware..
- Updating firmware probably wont fix your issue.
My advice: I would RMA your unit. (Return merchandise authorization) get a replacement.
I had the same issue and got it replaced, the screen was faulty. A simple exchange and now i have speaker issues, hoping third times the charm.

crap! This has got to be the worst case of quality assurance from Sony. I'm one of the lucky ones to get an actual fully working unit...
One question for you all. Which model do you have? Do we know if there's one particular model that has the majority of problems, or is it mostly random? Hamdogg, you got the C6833 (LTE) and no problems right? OP, what do you have?
I have the c6833
In other words, anyone wuth this issue has solved without replace tbe unit?
For for me replace the unit its the last stand, i buy in expansys and i dont know his policy in this subjet.
Its random sometimes works fine for a while, and appears, i think its about 90% fine, but its a lot of money and if no solutions its imposible life with this problem always.
Curioaly when i received the order from expansys the box was already open, not sealed.
Maybe im not the first one that find that this unit its faulty.....
Really i dont know.

And anothr think.
Almost always, the problem appear more when you just power on the unit, tje first seconds are the most dangerous.
If you use during a while its more dificult to reproduce.

Dead touchscreen, flickering screen- help!

Hi there,
So recently I sold my SGS2 to my brother (in complete working order, I had been using it up until I gave it to him) when I got my n5. He seems to have been getting along fine with it for the last couple of weeks.
He came home today and showed me that the touchscreen is unresponsive (initially tried a battery pull) but no such luck. The other buttons work, and everything appears to be progressing normally with the boot (I can see the wifi connect, he has mobile signal etc.). After about 5 seconds of not interacting with the phone, it dims very slightly and the backlight starts flickering very quickly, but stops instantly if I tap it (although I still can't interact with the device in any other way through the touchscreen), please note this also happens in recovery (so I'm guessing it's hardware).
I've tried doing a factory and cache wipe in recovery but it hasn't helped (I didn't expect it to).
He claims not to have dropped it or got it wet and everything on it is stock (always has been).
Does anyone recognise this issue, or know what it might be/ how hard it would be to fix?
I only sold it to him for £50 as he is family, but I could do without having to give him his money back...
Thanks for any help,
Dan
Difficult to say from this side, if you have the chance to try to check if the connections between the motherboard and the screen are not loose nor unplugged, and do a factory reset, even though I assume it's the hardware here.
If (as I think) a factory reset doesn't solve the problem, I would go for a screen replacement, better if you can try one before buying. If it's not the screen, then go for a mobo replacement. Hope I helped

I'm just uploading a quick video to clarify what is happening. I'll crack it open later a have a look at the connector to see if thats the issue. Do you happen to know if the digitizer and LCD are separate components in the s2?

I've replaced some, they are glued together, and not separable by the user without the right tools (and those are VERY expensive and need training).

is this hardware problem? or anyone had experienced this before?
update:
i tried reinstalling ROM
this problem goes away at first, but comes again after a few minutes
Seems to be hardware mate

In a German forum someone reported same behavior; he was able to solve the issue by removing the display protection film:
As a new user I’m not able to post links, search for “android-hilfe.de/thema/linker-teil-des-displays-reagiert-nicht-auf-eingaben"
i have removed the protection film.
the problem doesnt happen on 1st fresh boot (install ROM)
after a few minutes of operation, then this problem occurs
this will go away after reboot but only 50% of the time before it starts again
Go to Aliexpress for full refund. You will need to send back the phone m

Hi. I also have the same problem in my device. Is there any fix for this now?
I am having this problem too after replacing new lcd from china. The problem was worsened when I put the tempered glass. It still persist slightly even when the tempered glass is removed. Any ideas?

Replace Touch screen

Hello to all.
I have an nvidia shield lte tablet with broken touch screen.
Nvidia, from this point of view is very poor, has no service centers, and has no spare parts.
I find a bad tablet wifi version from which to disassemble the spare part, to try an experiment.
The experiment is successful, everything works perfectly, except the stylus pen that can not write.
Where did I go wrong?
Precisely I have not done the hard reset to lose the data, which I will do sooner, but if it is a calibration issue or some other setting maybe avoided resetting.

did you use a wifi original tablet or a k1 tablet?

I suppose it is not randomly. When you are activating the proximity sensor at the top end of the front face of the phone by moving something near it or when you moving something near the fingerprint scanner, the characteristic fingerprint picture turns on to illustrate the area you have to press your finger onto in order to unlock the phone.
But this blink It's normal ? Your mate make the same thing ? My fingerprint Blink many times 5 6 !
Can someone help me, please guys
It's not normal.
Why? Other users says It's normal ! Your mate Blink or not ?

If i tap the screen and attend It blinks One time but sometimes i tap and blinks 4 5 times ! And i don't know why ! You have a mate ? Your mate Blink ?
Mine doesn't blink that many times, unless I kept on putting something near the sensor. Yes I have this phone

Because mine doesn't behave like that. It only blink when I touch the screen and only once. I use both fingerprint and faceunlock if that matters
if i hover over the proximity sensor or the notch, it'll blink. it can be quite sensitive, i put it near my work laptop's touchpad and type on laptop keyboard, it might also trigger it to blink
Have you a screen protector ? Liquid glass ?
Maybe your phone is like a nagging wife? It's constantly looking your attention. Pick me up and turn me on.

This isn't realy normal. I tested allot, I would say your device is damaged. They exchanged mine because of this. I would bring it back to Huawei store and ask them for repair.

Definitely not normal, you should send it in for repair.
