Hey, I am using KIW-L22 and ported to Mokee OS (MK71.2-kiwi-201712250628-NIGHTLY.zip) the snapdragon camera was pre-installed and then i installed custom camera (HWCamera.zip). Both the camera are not working with Fingerprint as a camera shutter. Pls Help me out or suggest any better Camera App which supports Fingerprint as shutter.

My device has fpc sensor.
When I was using miui , I could use the fingerprint sensor to take selfies without setting up fingerprint security.
Thus time though with RR, I cant do that. I have used apps like dactyl and click with finger but nothing helps.
Anyone please, any solution ??

Same problem here.
I have also FPC FP, I AM ON RESURRECTION REMIX 5.8.3.
THERE IS NO OPTION IN CAMERA APP FOR ENABLE FINGERPRINT TO TAKE PHOTO.
ANYONE PLEASE GIVE SOLUTION.
Install Dactyl from Google Play. This app enable this feature in Custom Roms. Work for me in RR Nougat and AOSP Oreo. You have activate the feature from accessibility?

Hello guys my gcam is not working on my note 4 after updating it into miui10.Later it was working on miui 9 like butter but recently when I flashed it into miui 10 camera 2api module is also not supporting.so, please help me to enable Gcam as it give better camera quality than stock ........

There is nothing you can do to work on miui10.We have to wait till stable rom is released and see if it works then.

I have enabed Camera2api via build prop and via magisk but still i did see No Success with any of google pixel camera ports
However the ported miui 10 camera works great for portrait shots on both rear n front cameras but hdr n filter modes are FCs
Using that port for portraits only will solve the issue

So I've been using the Miui Camera app for a little while, just before I unlocked the phone and went to LOS16. On LOS16 I'm using the default camera app, but am missing a couple of things from the Miui Camera app. In particular the Fingerprint Shutter and the different modes (AI / portrait and such). Would it be possible to create a separate apk file of the original Poco Miui-camera, to run on Custom Roms?

Its know fact that xiaomi and other brands original camera will not work on los 15, 16. Its because it uses code that is not opensource and is locked to miui system. Only alternative is google cam port, or using camera apps from google playstore like opencamera, footej camera and others.
Can you use the video stabilization in LOS 16?
Or the slow motion?
Slow motion is not working. Video Stabilization is on, at least, that is what it says. Seems to stabilize my movement.
Main reason I am on LOS 16 at the moment is Android Auto, which works there.

i think that's not true, I've seen whyred (redmi note 5 pro or ai global version) stock camera for custom rom on magisk module. Maybe it'll need more time for the development

Today I have miui and the gcam app, but the portrait mode of the miui cam, although more exaggerated, seems to wok better. The gcam app uses the second sensor or do it all by software? If I install pixel experience rom + the miui cam port, the miui cam will be able to perform like in the miui rom (using the second sensor)? Thanks!

i think its impossible because thats not how gcam works
unless google themselves add support for a secondary depth sensor
Is there any better camera than stock? the flash on my device isnt working it makes the camera crash (3rd party cameras) and in the stock camera flash is not in sync with the shutter. GCam doesnt work for me it always crash/notworking/flash not working. is here any camera app or patch for the camera? I want the stock galaxy camera app if possible. also i tried several camera apps like opencamera, s9/s10 camera app playstore. Any suggestions?

Im using Footej Camera, its by far the best as I would say.
The camera crash bug is a general Lineage bug, this is not something that can be fixed by using a different camera app. This has to be fixed by Option58 in the Lineage sourcecode.
Also, using camera app from stock ROM wont work because it needs the touchwiz/samsung framework which is not present on ROMs other than stock
