[MOD][XPOSED] Niwatori - One Handed Mode - Nougat compatible - Xposed Framework Modules

Thanks to tkgktyk!
The original thread for the mod is here. It stop working since Nougat. I forked the source code sharing by tkgktyk and updated to make it compatible with Nougat.
You can use it as before now.
Most of the functionalities, including slide down, small screen, moveable screen and etc., works. However, the status bar still doesn't work now. I will continue working on it.
Xposed Repo
I have created a new module in Xposed repo for future development. And I will stop releasing apk file in my dropbox. Please use your Xposed Installer to install/update the module.
My repo is here: Niwatori Nougat.
Welcom pull request!
Finally, I decided to publish it in Google Play Store and let more people can share my effort. If you like it, please rate there. The link is:

Let me know you have any issues or anything I can help

Thank you for uploading this but I got a question.
I've uploaded your APK to check with VirusTotal and here is the result.

Oh, really.
Android studio prompted me to sign the app
So I generate my own signature to sign it using Android studio.
Maybe I can share the unsigned app file. Thanks for reporting.

I can reproduce your issue now. The root cause is I didn't sign the app correctly. In the next release, I will fix this issue and also bring back the status bar feature. Stay tune.

Sound great :good:

Just seen you updated in OP and try to download, VirusTotal Scan, Install, Testing.
VirusScan still show as Trojan (I'm not sure it's a false positive or not)
but this time I can install. Enable module > Reboot.
and yeah ! it's working.
Thank you for your work. I usually using this mod until original dev is not updated anymore and LineageOS has this feature on the ROM itself.
but now I'm using OxygenOS and it doesn't have a one-handed mode.
THIS MODULE IS A MUST FOR ME
:good::good::good:

Damn, I really hope I can somehow get it working, since it really is kind of a keep or sell decision for me because of this.
I'm also using OxygenOS on a OnePlus 5T, but I get a "Can't open file!" error after downloading.
I tried forcing it with some apk installer app and it installs, but I can't actually toggle the mode in any way.
Any ideas? Am I missing something? Any logs I could provide?
I just installed the newest Xposed and Gravitybox works so it shouldn't be an Xposed issue.
"One-Handed Mode for all devices" somewhat works but its kinda buggy while the xda one handed mode is completely unusable :crying:
I really hope someone here will be able to help me out.

Hi,
I'm using Oneplus 5T with stock rom 4.7.6 + Xposed systemless v 89
It's working great.
Do you re-download from OPupdated link?
But it's kinda buggy for some apps like contact, phone, XDA labs. (See screenshot)
I'm happy to help you if you still can't make It work.

Hey,
thanks a lot for your work, I was desperately looking for something like that for my OnePlus 5T which is lacking a one handed mode. I experience the same graphical issues with telefon/contacts App which are not that bad - what I don't like though is that the one handed mode doesn't work in Chrome at all. Anyone got an idea why or gets the same?
I tried to use Slide down as well as Small Screen but in Chrome just nothing happens.
Also I can't attach it to the Home Button because it seems to interferes with other functions (in apps) - with the "last Apps"-Button it works well so I'm using this one atm!

I'm also on 4.7.6 but the Magisk Xposed module didn't work for me, the Xposed installer told me there was no framework installed so had to flash the zip manually.
And yes, I redownloaded the File from the OP several times, still can't open it.
But since it seems to be buggy anyway I guess I'm just gonna wait a bit longer before making my final decision and see if someone finds a fix, but I don't have high hopes anymore at this point

I agree with the XDA one handed mode. It's not that usable. So I get back toNiwatori as soon as Exposed works on Nougat.
I assume there should not be install issue with my updated link. Could you share me the information of the file you downloaded?

For the graphical issue, tkgktyk has solution in the original project. But he didn't enable it as default. I will work on it when I find some time. Actually, it's not a real issue. It doesn't stop you using anything, isn't it:laugh:
By the way, you can call me Ben. I guess OP is my phone's brand, OnePlus. I don't know why XDA put OP there. I would like to have a signature here, but I don't know how to. I'm a XDA fan for quite some time. But only start posting recently.

It looks like you use installer that not support systemless Xposed.
You can try to use Xposed Installer by dvdandroid
and download systemless by topjohnwu (Magisk's Dev)

Yea, that's probably it. I haven't really done much with all the "new" systemless stuff, since the ROM on my old phone basically gives me everything I need out of the box. Gonna try that on the weekend. :good:

What kind of information do you need? I can look it up in a few hours since I don't have access to the phone atm.
Although I kinda assume it probably has something to do with my stock ROM being broken somewhere, so I'm gonna reflash stock and try again this weekend.

How are you doing with Niwatori? I don't have more idea on your issue. I'm not so familiar with the systemless stuff. Maybe you can benefit from allies suggestion. Good luck to you.

VERSION 1.0.1 WITH BUGFIXES:
Some people have had some trouble with the previous version of this app, so I have made some fixes. I'm pretty sure that if any of the problems that have been reported recur, it's because of the way VooDoo deals with disabling itself.
The link below is now to the current version.
Thanks again for everyone's patience and support!
Hi all.
I've just created my first Android app, and I hope the folks here might find it useful.
It has two functions:
1) it detects the presence or absence of the /sdcard/voodoo directory (and thus the presence or absence of Voodoo), and allows the user to toggle Voodoo on or off.
2) it allows the user to reboot, either a normal reboot or a reboot to recovery with a single button press.
Naturally, it requires root access.
I've found this is a pretty easy way to switch Voodoo on and off when flashing ROMs, kernels, and all that stuff.
I know there is something similar on the Market, but I wanted to make my own as a learning experience, and I also wanted a "Reboot to Recovery" button.
This one is also free, and the source is available on github (I'm sure my code sucks, but I honestly don't know why. If someone were to feel like explaining it to me, I'd sure appreciate it! ).
The usual installation procedures apply:
Method 1:
Download the file below to a location on your local computer in your $PATH and type:
adb install RebootButton.apk
Method 2:
Drop the file below to a location on your SD card and navigate to it using Astro, Root Explorer or another file manager (these are the two I use). In Astro, click on the file, then select "App Manager" then "Install"
In Root Explorer, select the file, then select "Install".
That's it.
Here it is:
http://www.zennmaster.com/Android/RebootButton.apk
I'll be sending this to the Market as soon as I can whip up an icon.
Suggestions and feedback are more than welcome!
I wish to sincerely thank all those very smart folks, around here and on IRC, for all the inspiration they didn't even know they were giving me, as well as all the cool toys that created the need for this app in the first place!
The application and the source code are both hereby released under the GPL.

I've been having problems just creating the disable_lagfix file to disable voodoo. Will this help and actually uninstall it or will it more than likely cause the same problems? Thanks for making this easier in any case.

The App won't uninstall Voodoo completely, it just creates and removes the correctly named file from the appropriate directory.
What sort of problems have you been having creating the disable_lagfix file?

So basically it just adds the disable_lagfix file in sdcard/voodoo folder?
Still someone will benefit from that.
So in practice hitting the voodoo off creates the file and places it on sdcard and reboot obviously reboots, wait 10 minutes and voila
Still thats two clicks and done, a nice move for the lazy or the ignorant not meant to be disrespectful, ignorant simple means lacking knowledge
Just installed but haven't used it yet.
Quick question (since i'm still new to all of this.) When rooting and installing lag fix on my SF a couple days ago, the instructions I followed did not include making a nandroid backup. If I use the app to disable lag fix, can I create a nandroid backup and then re-enable lag fix using the app?

AFAIK, the Voodoo kernels we know and love can only disable the lagfix by looking for that file.

Exactly.
To be honest, I think a lot of the trouble people around here have been having with disabling the lagfix has been with what essentially amounts to typos. Getting the file name wrong, or putting it in the wrong place will only lead to frustration and Voodoo enabled. Automating the process takes out a lot of opportunity for error. At the very least, like you say, two clicks and done is a lot less work.

The lit up buttons with no screen, and it doesn't reboot completely. Then I have to Odin a few times and redo the clean update quite a few times, get all the force closes, redo it all again, then it finally, magically, works. Those gremlins get me sometimes. Again, thanks for all this, I'll test it when my patience comes back and let you know.
This is useful. Thank you.
Hey Saps, a little off-topic I know but...where did you get the circle battery mod? I'm running bubby's Magic ASOP and I really like the black mod. I installed what was supposed to be just the circle mod from one of the themes but it gave me the whole theme. I like how yours apparently shows the "red, yellow, green" based on charge. How do I apply just that mod without changing bubby's black mods?

Anyone noticed that Google Now doesn't seem to work? It doesn't FC anymore but it won't let you scroll through the different cards...
EDIT: Oh, and also... Link2SD is still un-usable. After installing it, downloading apps from Play Store makes the process "system" crash and there's nothing you can do from that point, you have to reboot your phone.

Link2SD works fine for me
I'm using latest "light" gapps. The problem with Google Now is not only with the cards but when I search something I can't scroll through the results, only the top part of the screen "moves" when scrolling.
Link2SD does work but I'm not sure why but it makes it a pain to install new apps. Having to reboot phone each time because system process crashed. And must be done each time you install a single app... :silly:

Still the p500 with ROM build1 can't be detected as USB modem (I meant no USB tethering) by Slackware machine. Could you please to fix it? I encountered that bug (?) in all ROM (ICS and JB) I ever have flashed it, but GB (OpenOptimus ROM build 2.202.1)!.
Anyway, your ROM even it's the first built is one of the great JB ROM for obsolete phone hardware. It's almost stable imho. If you can fix mentioned above problem and the camera, it'll be perfect for my daily use!

To make Google Now work, you have to use the version for ARMv6 from this link(from 'Instructions for ARMv6 devices')>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1816622 !!! To get the voice work (it will listen to you, but will repeat what you said, but at least you don't have to write what you are looking for) use the workaround: The Voice Search for Google Now app. More details in the link!!! And yes, this method should work on Jelly Bean, not only on ICS. Good Luck!!! :good:

donation package is not working

I am getting this issue all the time, can anyone help me with this? after donation package is hidden from launcher, I can't white list in any apps.
Funny how the guys who actually donate have this consequence while others who use the cracked apks are not.

If you have any "app patching" software with a smileyface icon that must be removed entirely in order for the package to work.

For me it works when the Donation Pack is added to "Not Optimised" under Battery.

FWIW - have never experienced this issue on a wide variety of devices/ROMs. Would love to know 'root cause' but struggle beyond the obvious (eg: dubious hacks, non-standard configs, etc) to think what it might be. Probably a variety of triggers judging by the varying solutions.

For me, restoring Donation Pack through TiBU results in this issue which I solved by the method mentioned by me. Nowadays I restore Greenify but download the Donation Pack through Play Store. No issues.
Nothing works for me. I've tried everything here and in the help file, and more. I don't have registration issues with any other app. I'm running a nougat build of lineage.
It has worked on this phone. It has worked on my old one. But now? Nothing...
I also have the same problem for almost a year now and I really need that app + donation pack back. I bought the donation pack on google play and installed both apps via google play on my device. Greenify can't verify my donation and even google play doesn't "think" that the app is installed, even if I did so. I added some screenshots, they are in german though.
I also recovered my app once with Titanium Backup since I wanted to go back to an older version of the app, but if I remember correctly, I had the problem before, too. I contacted the developer a while back, but never got a response :/ The google play support couldn't help me, unfortunately.
Has anyone a solution yet?
Edit: The screenshots were taken while both greenify and the donation pack were installed. Both were installed with google play.

[MOD][Xposed] Snapcept - Save snaps and stories from Snapchat [10.34.0.0]

This is a fork of Snapintercept. Thanks to lithirium for the awesome base.
Snapcept does the same but with additional features.
I will still try to keep it simple to update the module so we can quickly move to the next latest release.
If possible, there will be an update within 24h of the latest Snapchat release as long as I know about it. :fingers-crossed:
Features:
Save received snap images, videos and their overlays.
Save story images / videos of your friends or people you are subscribed to. Make sure to open their story from the snap overview and not the discovery overview.
A settings UI to enable/disable snap/story images and videos being saved.
Snaps are saved automatically when they are received. Stories when they are viewed (plus a few after that because of pre-loading).

Its sending screenshot notifications to everyone. That's unfortunate. Can you please fix this?
on my side , it's like i did capture when opening story on each pictures
but after that , i saw that pictures/video are pushed in snapcept drawer without the need to open the friend's story.
i tried to send picture to myself with chat , no capture et no notification.
maybe it's on the first run of the module ?
anyway if the dev @Snapcept wants logging or Xposed log
Great module, thanks a lot for your hard work man

It shouldn't send any screenshot notifications out of itself.
Snaps and stories are saved automatically, you don't have to do anything (so don't take screenshots yourself if you did that).
You can send me your Xposed log if it happens again but I doubt there will be any useful information.
I can't seem to reproduce the notification, even when developing and breaking Snapchat a few times I still haven't gotten any notifications.
Do you have any other Snapchat Xposed modules installed? Try disabling those and see if it is fixed.

i have no other snapchat modules.
actually i've no screen cap notification, and no notification on the friend's side.
i forgot to say that i applied the wipe in the folder "/data/user/0/com.snapchat.android/files/media_cache"
and let snapchat resynch the stories after reboot.
so for me it's all good
None. The only module i used was the SnapIntercept before it was outdated as well. I asked my friend to send me a couple of snaps. Simply opening them sent him screenshot notifications while I don't get any text that i have taken a screenshot which usually shows when you do like "You took a screenshot". I guess I'll try again.
It doesn't seem to download the snap videos,
How do I stop it from automatically downloading snap stories that automatically load
Also is there a way to make it download into one folder rather than creating a separate folder for each person.
Thanks.
It saves only photos but not videos for me. What am i doing wrong?

Please read the thread, one of ur questions have already been asked, by me, and answered.
There is no UI for this module, so u take it as it comes.

Working great here
Couple suggestions:
• save story images into one folder, not separate user name folders (to not clog up gallery apps with hundreds of new folders)

Hello! Let me start by thanking you for starting and working on this project It's really nice to have the option to save all the stuff that I receive on snapchat once again, it's been a while since SnapIntercept was updated haha. Sadly I am having no luck getting your module to work on my configuration. I have not yet had time to check the GitHub repository and see if I can do some debugging myself, but I thought I would post a reply here and maybe get some directions to resolving my troubles.
So my configuration is the following:
OnePlus 6 running OxygenOS 5.1.5, rooted via Magisk.
I have the Xposed Framework SDK27 module installed,. 90.2-beta3 (Stystemless)
I am running snapchat version 10.33.0.0 Beta and version 1.6.0 of your module
Is this configuration even supposed to work? I am unsure.
I am getting no Toast messages and no files have appeared other than Android/data/local.snapcept/files, which is empty.
Thanks in advance to anybody taking the time to write a reply, have a nice day

Hey! I got the APK from apkmirror which only had a beta version, did not realize that there was a difference. I've been looking for the non-beta version but cannot find it on apkmirror, which is the only source I trust. Does anyone have a reputable website or perhaps even a link to an apk?
PS: I've tried with 10.31.5.0, no luck..
Thanks!

HiddenCore Module - what was it doing

Found this module, although it didn't look too legit, I thought if it does what it really says it does then it would be very useful (bypass safetynet, disable all root detection, selinux, bypass signature verification etc) so i installed it.
Anyway now I see its been removed from the repository. I'm guessing it was not legit after all, anyway other than decompiling the apk file to see what it was doing, is there anyway to find out why it was removed and what potential damage/data has been done to my device?
Edit, the link: https://repo.xposed.info/module/com.cofface.invader
I was wondering this as well. I had and it was gone. Have yet to find another one that allows full safteynet pass. Wonder why it was removed

I suspect it wasn't actually doing anything it claimed to do. I noticed my screen was staying on for some reason, then I realised it was caused by that app. I was a bit concerned it was actually a RAT or some malware sending off all my private data somewhere.
If I get time this weekend I might try decompile it and have a look I still have the apk file, have just disabled it in xposed.

This tool probably can help:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/release-deckard-static-dynamic-xposed-t3901260
But it would be interesting to know the reason from who removed it from the repository.
On XDA Labs App xposed section it is listed yet an has some positive feedbacks (fake?)
Please share the .apk . I will download

I noticed my screen not auto shutting off either unless in gallery r something, but not main screen. Did seem like phone got a lil sluggish as well.
I extracted the app and noticed that sdk says 22 when I need 24 lol. Can't re-apk app tho. Zip and renaming don't cut it.
This app seemed to being doing what it intended from what I seen. Magisk fully passed safteynet. Basic integrity mainly. Cts is already green on my end from no device check module. This does both green check marks.

Did anyone find out if it's doing anything malicious?
NetGuard shows, that HiddenCore Module has no internet connection.
P.S. My version of HiddenCore is 1.3 - and the screen goes asleep after 2 min (the fault with screen always on is since version 1.5).
and where to find this ver. 1.3, about and changelog?

Not actually if there's no way to see the changelog or understand correctly how this module does what it's supposed and should do.
Thanks for the assist.
is version 1.7, is there any way to make the screen according to the Gus settings, and not constantly burning with this module?
