Help!!! I9300 won't open no sign of power - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm backing up my HyperRom from TWRP and restoring MIUI7 Rom then suddenly the screen open have lines it doesn't boot so I remove my battery and when I put it back on there is no power. I can't even access download and recovery mode or open my phone even when I charge it there is no LED or screen won't lit up to the charging animation

Try another battery. If no joy then it's bricked.

[Q] Phone stuck in boot loop. I cannot access recovery mode or download mode

I have a samsunng galaxy note 2. I installed DN3 v3.0 2 days back. The phone was working fine. Today I installed an app from outside and was using it until my phone battery went low. SO I swapped the battery as I normally do. But this time phone wouldn't boot. It is stuck in a boot loop. As I put the battery, PHONE WOULD AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON!!!
And it will stick on the " samsung galaxy note2" screen. Then the screen would go black for a second or two and repeat. I pulled out the battery and put it back, again the same. I tried putting back the old battery, but in vain.
I cannot access recovery mode, and when I try to enter download mode, the phone would stick to that screen where it asks either to press volume up or volume down button to enter or exit download mode, and then again it would try to boot and stuck to boot screen.
Please help me, I don't know what to do.

[Q] A kind of bricked Xperia Sola

Hello guys, my friend was installing some ROMs (jumping from one to other) and he probably accidentally installed wrong ROM.
System loading is in bootloop and then it came to empty battery. Connecting charger to wall charger first shows red LED light.
Then, when red LED disappears, phone immediately starts appearing SONY logo, then XPERIA logo and loading system that can't be loaded because system is in bootloop (since it is wrong ROM) and battery is too low for it (phone is in bootloop max 15 seconds). Phone start itselfs!
That's not even enough to install drivers in Win 7. Power + Vol+ does nothing. Holding Vol- and connecting USB to PC does nothing. I wanted to flash stock ROM via Flash Tool but I can't boot phone in Flash Mode. I am holding back key at phone and plugging USB cable but It does nothing except "trying" to install drivers that cannot be finished because phone is shutting down too fast.
Xperia Sola
Okay, got enough time to flash custom kernel via fastboot. Flashing went successful and kernel works. But something is still wrong.
If there is enough battery, kernel should boot up to show battery charging screen.
My screen shows SONY logo with blue "Custom" text, then XPERIA logo and then it boots system that can't be booted without enough battery.
Why didn't kernel start battery charging screen after charging enough to boot kernel?

Hallo there,
I hear you there there are a lot of people who face the problem you are facing but what you need to do is to troubleshoot the phone
* Make sure the USB cable is working fine if possible try it on another phone.
* Is any of your phone buttons faulty this you can judge by the last time you used the phone.
* Are the computers USB ports functioning properly
If the answer to the above questions is they are all working then continue reading else stop reading and fix the above mentioned problems
To get into download mode you need to press vol up + Home button and then switch on the phone MAKE SURE THAT THE USB CABLE IS NOT CONNECTED this is important because when the USB cable is connected you cannot go into download mode at all.
Now you can download your ROM from sammobile and let the flashing begin.

[Solved] Phone wont go to recovery\download mode stuck on loading screen

I have 4.4.4 KK SlimROm with Dorimanx latest kernel (Without TRIM). Recently I bought a new extended battery fully charged it and let it discharge fully once. It was s tip for a new lithium batteries on one of the first sites on google search. After that the battery wouldn't charge at all for a few hours (Stuck on 0%) but the phone could be turned fully on. I remembered that once i saw in the recovery advanced options something about battery statistic refresh or something like that and went looking for it in the recovery, didn't find anything, didn't change anything, when I exited the recovery mode it told me the root was lost and if I want to root my phone, I chose yes, then it booted to download mode for some reason, turned my phone off and it stated to charge. I was happy until I tried to turn it on. Its starting too boot, after the Samsung logo it gets to Dorimanx logo and gets stuck there, cant access Recovery or Download mode. Searched the web didn't find anything with a solution only dead threads with no answers.
Please help, I don't have money for a new phone and I waited for this Amazon battery to get here 3 month :"(
TLDR;
Discharged battery wont charge, after it started to charge stuck on kernel loading screen, cant access Download or Recovery Mode. Pls help.
After a few days I found a solution. Here it is to people who has the same problem.
Remove battery, sim, sdcard, before you pluck the battery back hold vol down, pluck it in, power phone, and it should go to download mode.
If not try power+vol down+home, power+vol down or power+home+both volume as you pluck the battery or the same combinations as you pluck in the USB cable to the phone connected to the PC. a few tries should get you here, it was my 5th on with USB and first with holding vol down before plucking the battery back.
Download Odin
download JB rom form http://androidfirmwares.net/PhoneFirmware/Download/133
download recovery from here http://galaxys2root.com/cwmtwrp-recovery/
follow instructions on how to install rom from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/guide-26-12-flash-stock-firmware-rom-t2365701
Install the ROM via Odin(If by chance like me you will disconnect while installing the ROM and cant connect back or stuck on setup connection, just remove the battery for a few minutes and try again, exiting and starting Odin again recommended), after that install recovery, nothing will load but check if you can go to recovery, if yes, just install the same ROM you had from recovery, wipe cache, dalvik, install same kernel, wipe cache, dalvik, it should work with some errors popping, just sync and back up everything you need and reinstall fresh.
Hope it helped.

phone won't boot, led blinking fast

Hi,
My phone turned off.
I don't think my battery was empty, but can't be sure.
When I plugged it to recharge, the led was blinking fast, and the big battery icon didn't show up.
I never could turn back my phone on.
I've read here and there that it could be a battery issue.
I've opened the phone, unplugged the battery and connected the phone to my pc. It turns on, but bootloops every 3-4 seconds (Mi logo shows up, then it vibrates and reboots).
I tried plugging the battery back with the Mi logo on, but then the led starts blinking and the phones stops looping (turned off).
I managed to boot into fastboot by holding the - button and plugging the usb. Running adb devices doesn't show anything. Yet there is no error when trying to flash twrp through adb.
I managed to boot into twrp (so it was actually flashed, because I had orangefox recovery before the crash.
Yet in twrp, the note 5 plus folder is empty. I tried to mount usb, nothing too.
I tried to backup via adb twrp, and I got a bunch of errors ("unable to mount data", "unable to mount storage", ... then a bunch of "e:recv error on uevent").
Any idea what I can do ?
Is it the battery ? Don't really want to buy a new battery if i't not sure it's the problem.
I had to buy a new phone in the meantime, so I mainly want here to recover data (pictures mostly) from my phone.
Thanks !
