it's for the european honor5x C432 i have KIW-21C185B140 and i couldn't update the only version witout EMUI 4 update so weird. i even tried to install the european version and it didn't work. Please help us
I also want to know.... only middle eastern version is being deprived of MM update... where is our update?????

Hello musamaashraf, I'd love to answer your question! The Honor 5X update is a staged rollout, meaning not everybody gets it at once. We send out the update in daily random batches and the first batch went out last week. Please be patient as it will make it to you. We want you to enjoy Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and not have any issues. We appreciate you and we're happy to have you on Team Honor. (ED)

It is not there because MM update for middle east isn't released yet.. I contacted honor and they assured me that it will come in the first week of September

No they did not... I contacted them again... They said they are facing bugs and will release MM soon... So stay tuned...
I don't think they intend on releasing MM.... I'm really pissed but can't do anything... I have almost lost hope...

I think that there is a some racism, otherwise why the europeans and americans enjoying with marshmallow since two months while we are in middle east suffering from pain of waiting. Is this fairer?
Every time honor keep saying that we get this update very soon but unfortunately no bostive action as if we are asking for Android 7 I believe this update will never released

I believe 'racism' is a bit too strong a word in this situation, but I do nevertheless think that there's neglect for the C185 KIW-L21, which I presume has to have similar hardware to its European cousin bearing the exact same model number.
Other aspects worth noting is how Huawei is selling the Honor 5x at a much higher price in the gulf states than in other countries (US, India), knowing that there's little import tax and no VAT!
Otherwise, it is still a great phone.

first week gone, no update, how could this phone be released without 6.0? i see chinese $120 phones being released with 6.0 nowadays. unacceptable

Hi, I have honor 5C L21 and also joined to beta test of nugat by huawei application BetaClub on 14 of Feb. But still don't receive OTA with nugat. Hope they will release it soon

I'm from the UK. In the app, when I go to projects, there is only 1 for the honor nem-l51 for Android nougat....???? Maybe try again...

Sorry I dunno why it doesn't log you in. I downloaded the app, installed, you have to have your Huawei ID registration setup, it automatically logs you in. Then you select the project and apply....

When I signed up last week there was just 1/150 signed up for the UK. I've made it 2/150 but no update or notification yet.
It's kind of hard to expect people to sign up if no-one is aware of it. The hihonor UK forum is a pig's ear. Honor UK do have a fairly active twitter feed so they could direct users.

I think you and me are the 2 that is shown in the app for that beta project!!
I would have thought but making it known on xda hundreds of people would jump at the chance to join the beta testing program for nougat and emui 5...?!? I'm not on Twitter so maybe you could drop a tweet to make other nem-l51 owners aware. I am going to have a look over at modaco.com and post about this if it hadn't already been done.
After rummaging about on hihonor.com, I've noticed that the Italian forum are all over this update for nougat using this app I uploaded ( first post of this thread)...only they have the same app but solely in Italian.
C'mon 5C owners, I see more than a few hundred people have viewed this thread but only few have responded...?!?
Don't you want to help push this nougat upgrade through ASAP or what ??

Thanks for your petition. Xiaomi ain't going to listen. BTW, we have tons of stable Oreo ROMs. Who cares about official update. I'm on N2OS and it's fast as light. The battery backup is insane! ?
Move on to custom ROM is more logic for me. It less bloated than MIUI. It's already 8.1 BTW ?

It's budget phone... There are 28% of phones that still run on lollipop... And Nougat is on just on 15% (there is even more users on KitKat for God sake).
What would you tell that our phone didn't get past lollipop, it would be like apocalypse day for you and not just sad day...
