How can I use apps that utilize SafetyNet on SamPWND root? I really want to use it but there are several apps that I use that I can't use if I root that I really want/need to use, is there any way around this?
Thanks
Simple answer, you can't. It's a system level root. We need an unlocked bootloader to trick it.

I heard that alot of roms are now prerooted. I do have the bootloader unlocked on 2.3.6. Do i still need to root, or could i just flash a custom JB rom such as the ones created by Th3Bill?
thanks appreciate the help
has root preloaded.
why would you not want root access? after unlocking, flashing recovery, and installing a custom system, why would you not want root? i'm sure you have a good reason, just curious.
one post? can't tell if serious
You have the BL Unlocked, so flash a ROM and most (if not all) come with root preinstalled already...

I know this isn't directed at me, but I was asking myself the same question this user did, because I need to hide the System Bar on a JB Tablet, and from what I found it is only possible with root.
Hey All, Im not new to Rooting at all and I really want to try out the camera mod amongst other features.
Is everyone else having success or is there anything I should worry about besides the actual be safe while rooting procedures?

The root is as simple as it gets.. 1-2-3.. nothing to worry about.. There is no recovery yet but you can still do all your normal stuff.

Its almost to easy
Root worked fine for me, Deciding know if I want to play around with the camera alittle bit
If I root with Bump (and DON'T install a custom recovery) will I be able to receive stock updates from Sprint/LG? I ask because I want to do a few tweaks with xposed but I don't want to deal with waiting around for a ROM from the devs. The stock ROM, in my opinion, is great.
Root using stump. Then I think if you get an update you may need to uninstall root and xposed before trying to install it.

Right, Stump, not bump, sorry. How would I go about uninstalling root, when the time comes?
I used to use the supersu app and say unroot. It's worked for me on other phones but don't know for sure if it will work on this one.

Hi
Maybe AutoMagisk apk could be useful (I think there is a thread aswell somewhere)
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Ok, ill take a look at this. I know magisk but the main problem was / IS systemless root.
Is there really noone who wants systemless root or hide root on our galaxy s2?

Systemless root doesn't work on the S2 if I can remember correctly. Only system root works on the s2 when the selinux is not set to enforcing. I'm afraid I don't know of any way to hide root.

Also I want systemless root on my S2 and suhide, but we can't because the boot image patcher doesn't work. Must use the system root for now:crying:. I'm searching a way to do this...
I can't find a worth root app... Is there smth on the market?
I believe you shouldn't use any one-click-root apps
Just do a little search and root yourself
Reddi r/AndroidRoot has awesome mods and fairly good community, you can ask them
Kingroot ?
I have good experience using king root.

Kingoroot, despite being allowed on XDA and captured as part of their root options threads is malware.
Do not use it.
Unlock your bootloader, flash twrp then flash magisk.
Considering how nowadys everything seems to revolve around "Flash TWRP via Fastboot and then flash SuperSu.zip"
... I fail to see why we'd need that anymore...
