Pendoo T95Z Plus (2Gb/16Gb) Rom Update to Nougat 7.1.2 - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

This is an update to Android 7.1.2 Nougat for the Pendoo T95Z Plus Android TV Box.
*This is for the 2Gb/16Gb version. It will Brick the 3Gb/32Gb! Use only for 2Gb/16Gb.
You will need to research the update proceedure to get it flashed into your box. Looks like there are two ways to do the update, 1, Use amlogic usb burning tool with a special usb cable, or 2, use a micro sd card to flash.
Warning: The Pendoo T95Z Plus has a different WiFi chip than the Sunvell, or other manufacturers of the T95Z boxes.
This worked for my Pendoo box with the "Fn-Link" WiFi chip. Posting here to help others out, as this update is almost impossible to find.
This came from Pendoo Customer Support as a link to download. Here is a link to the .zip file.
Do NOT flash this for anything but the Pendoo variant.

Is it 7.1.2 or 7.1.1?
Some firmwares claim to be 7.1.2 but after flashing and on build.prop are 7.1.1, also not that hard to port, specs are the same other than the wifi chip so should be extremely easy

It shows as version 7.1.2 in my settings on the box. I was actually surprised to get a reply from Pendoo with the link. Maybe the Chinese manufacturers are realizing that supporting their products is good for business.

Hello, thanks for information. I installed the rom in my Sunvell t95z plus 9377 wifi chip and everything works very well the wifi connects in 2.4 and 5 gh, I only have the problem to install TWRP I have tried some but I can not install it, Any help?

Thank you so much! Created an account just to let anyone else that stumbles across this know that it works on my T95ZPlus (2/16) with 9377 (LTM8830 on the circuit board) wifi chip. I know what a pig it can be to find firmware for correct wifi/bluetooth/infrared but this went on with no problems and everything works! I now have 7.1.2!

Only way to know is to open the box up. I guess you should know the RAM/ROM sizes from when you bought it...

It's the 2gb 16 gb model I been trying to get it to update with any of the softwares at this stage but won't update from SD card says SD card read only when it aint. Bought alot of Android boxes this one is by far the worst I have seen it absolutely shocking how sketchy os is

I have T95Z Plus 2/16 (s912) Android Box
Original FW was Android 6.0.1, but I was receiving new FW from factory (WeChip) - Android 7.1.2
With this FW I have problem with "OK" button with remote controller for my LG TV. When I pressing "OK" on LG remote controller TV Box made "UP"+"OK". All option in HDMI CEC is on.
With original remote controller from TV Box no problem.
What and where I should change for solving this problem?
P.S. Now I was closing IR receiver sensor on my TV Box.
