How do I root on this type of phone?
I've tried kingroot via computer , kingoroot via computer, etc... I also tried to unlocked my bootloader using adb through the following commands
"adb reboot bootloader"
"fastboot bbk unlock_vivo"
But the fastboot mode in the phone isn't responding at all. I have no idea what to do to root and unlock the bootloader.
Would be awesome if u guys help me out on my little problem [emoji28]

Try this method :
- Switch on the OEM unlocking option in Dev Opt and plug in USB to PC and direct booting into bootloader using ADB cmd
adb reboot-bootloader
- Navigate to PC device manager and look for new device detection and update driver. On Update Drivers popup, navigate to Properties TAB and choose 'Hardware Ids' from scroll menu, rightclick and copy the first id that shown and google for the drivers.
Sometime, from my experiences, PC might say the driver installed for our phone is correct, but it isn't. Thats why when we enter fastboot cmd eg :
fastboot oem unlock
nothing will happen, bcos the driver isnt correctly designed for it.
Well, good luck trying...

I don't know whether you can enable USB debugging through fastboot ... i'll leave that to the experts.
However you can see your devices when connected to a PC in fastboot mode!
just run ...
fastboot devices

yeah i got that part, but when i try to flash or write anything to the device using fastboot i get nothing but errors so im guessing usb debugging must not be enabled
I'm sorry to say, you cannot enable USB Debugging through fastboot.
Hit the thanks button if i helped answer your question
Those errors have nothing to do with USB debugging. Your bootloader might not be unlocked so the flashing commands aren't working, or you're using wrong commands. USB debugging is at the ROM level and is for enabling adb while booted into the ROM. At the bootloader level, only fastboot commands work if the bootloader is unlocked. adb does not work. You need a custom recovery like CWM/TWRP for adb to work, and this recovery has to be flashed via 'fastboot flash recovery <recovery name>.img' on an unlocked bootloader.

Hello,
I'm also interested on this topic. My screen is broken, but the phone is working. I can boot and I feel the phone working and recognising my finger to unlock. However, because I'm stupid and I didn't have the "USB debugging ON" I can't access my files via ADB or any recovery software.
However, I can boot on fastboot and I see my device on "fastboot devides". Can I do something to access my files from there? I don't know... maybe unlock bootloader and flash any kind of TRWP with full adb or something like that.
THanks ¡

As its name implies, Fastboot operates on device's bootloader and not on device's Android files as ADB does.
BTW: You always can access the user-data stored in Android's file system if USB-MTP mode got enabled on Android device.

True, I can see my Xiaomi on "Windows Explorer", but it's an empty folder because I can't select MTP mode instead of "only charge" mode that it's launched by default.
What if I flash a TWRP recovery (I'll need to open bootloader first) and then from TRWP I try adb?
It must be a solution... if profesional people can do it so we do.
Thanks.

i also need to unlock the bootloader to flash a custom recovery and rom but can'y do it,
i've tried every possible ways but still isn't working.
Did you guys try the nexus way?
Enable usb debugging
Connect phone to computer with adb
On the computer type "adb reboot bootloader", wait for reboot
On computer type "fastboot oem unlock"
Check phone for confirmation
Reboot if necessary
This may do a factory reset, so back up your user data before doing this.

If your android rooted using KingRoot then it must your bootloader is unlocked.
Try command in fastboot mode
"fastboot oem device-info" then see bootloader unlocked is true or false. If true means your bootloader is unlocked.
What ever i am typing its saying only "FAILED <remote: unknown command>"
Only the working code is "fastboot devices" 😥

Does enabling OEM Unlock from developer options (Android 5.1.1) unlocks the bootloader?
If yes then can I directly flash a custom recovery after enabling OEM Unlock?

No, it only gives you permission to unlock bootloader.
You will need to unlock bootloader using adb.
Try this,
Download adb and Koush Universal adb driver and install them on ur pc, always install the driver first and don't install the drivers adb setup asks u to install.
Run command prompt as administrator.
Open the folder in c drive where adb is installed, u can use file explorer for this.
Press Shift+right click and select open command window here.
Enable USB debugging on your phone and connect it to the pc by a USB cord.
Enter command "adb devices" without quotation marks.
If it shows some device connected, only then proceed further.
Enter command " adb reboot bootloader"
Enter command " fastboot devices", if it shows some device to be connected, only then proceed further.
Enter command " fastboot oem unlock".
Ur phone may then ask for final confirmation on the phone screen, select yes.
When procedure completes, type "fastboot reboot" and your phone will reboot normally.

thnx for the reply augustonandro ! but i think im doing something wrong , whenever i type the command adb reboot bootloader my device(Galaxy J200G) restarts instead of rebooting to bootloader . So I just went to my stock recovery and chose option "reboot to bootloader" but still it restarted instead of rebooting to bootloader.
Am I doing something wrong?

guys i just found out this thread:https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j2/development/dev-samsung-galaxy-j2-lte-t3258147 and it says that just enable OEM Unlock and your bootloader will be unlocked. Is it true?
No, as explained above. That just allows the bootloader to be unlocked via ADB/fastboot (unless the bootloader is locked down like many ZTE phones).
Have you tried "adb reboot-bootloader"?

I want to unlock the bootloader on my ZTE Blade v9 but i can only boot normal in recovery mode and in ftm (Factory Test Mode). In Ftm i can use adb but not with root and without fastboot. If i type in adb "adb reboot bootloader" , its just an normal reboot. When i select reboot to bootloader in the recovery mode too. I can go in Edl on my phone too when i press both volume buttons. So is there a way to go in fastboot? Sorry for my bad english i am german.
Fastboot commands basicallly only work if device's bootloader is unlocked. You do this via enabling in Android Settings -> Developer options -> "OEM unlock", restart device, and run commands
Code:
fastboot devices
fastboot flashing unlock
and again restart device.
The thing is I can't boot into fastboot.

What do you want to express with this? Do you mean you can't boot into device's bootloader mode?
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot fastboot
What error message do you get when doing what?
Please clarify.

If I have understood correctly, OP has a problem with Fastboot Mode (Bootloader Mode) and not with Recovery Mode. Wonder why OP should install a CR ( TWRP ) to solve his problem?
@Kiwilikecookies
A CR replaces device's Stock Recovery, what can't be undone. Do you really want this?

I want to unlock the bootloader to install Cr or Twrp with EDL and when i can backup it i do(wich is not importent for me), root my device and install a custom rom because there are no more official updates.
How Fastboot is implemented on a mobile device if at all ( Note: The fastboot mode is available on a lot of devices but not on all the devices out there ) varies from OEM to OEM. It's on you to find out this.
I know that from my old broken phone where i had a bootloop and had to reinstall android but i want to unlock the bootloader and my phone hasn't fastboot. So i have only recovery, ftm and EDL wich i can boot into it. I only want to unlock the bootloader i know then how to flash twrp (with edl).
Hello, i bricked my V9 . Cant communicate via ADB anymore. It shows me DFU5 COM5 under Windows and when i use ZTE Terminal i can change it it to QDLoader 9008 COM6 but still no communication via ADB possible. The only thing that works is Recovery Mode but can't install update.zip (OEM unlock not enabled, Bootloader is unlocked) and Sideload also not working (adb: sideload connection failed: no devices/emulators found). And it's not a USB, Drivers or ADB problem. Another phone works. Qfil can't communicate with COM6 and in COM5 Mode it says "Switch to EDL Fail". What i can do now?
