Good Evening,
I have an old HP Elitepad 1000 G2 tablet I have been trying to install Android x86 on..
I have tried both Android-x86 7.1 and CM-x86 14.1 installers listed on android-x86 <dot> org
it appears to run stable for the most part, and most of the minor issues I have been able to fix without issue.. however, anytime I try and manually put the device in sleep mode it just powers off. in the case of entering sleep mode from remaining idle, it will instead reboot itself.
anyone experience this and know of some possible work arounds?
any ideas?

Hi,
I have come across an issue with the Viewpad 10s if anyone knows of any workaround (after installing a custom rom - Honeycomb I think);
As it is a tablet with a phone ROM some of the features arent working (like signing in to google since it has no network to connect to).
Because of the rom as well, recovery mode responds to buttions the 10s doesnt have (volume for changing selections works fine, but the tablet has no way of confirming selections now).
So is there a way to get around this and install a new rom?
Also is Paranoid Android reccomended for this tablet (as it has a tablet UI mode)?
Thanks;
was trying to build cm11 byt was never been able to get the final zip file. It happened over 7 times. My pc reboots in the middle of the process every time. Is there a way to check what is causing this reboot? Or is this a known issue?
I suggest you to monitor your cpu temperature, when I've compiled a kernel on my hp laptop it was almost 100 c (97-98), then I had to attach some external homemade fan.
will see that
After installation 1st boot , wifi is working fine, however after some restarts , the wifi is completely dead ,can not scan or connect, no way to fix it unless uninstall completely then install again, this issue exists in both 3.0 versions , but wifi is working fine in later remix 2.0.
anyone know how to fix?
Hey all,
I am trying to get Cyanogen 12.1 running on a X10 tablet which uses a allwinner a83t chipset. They have not released their full kernel source so I am using the original kernel. Currently I am getting hung up on the build, but I cant pinpoint which error is holding android from booting. Is anyone who knows more about the android boot process able to identify where I am getting held up. I am able to adb in once it hangs and it looks like the filesystem has mounted properly.
I cant fit it into the post due to wordcount limit, so off to pastebin.
Thanks.
So i have this problem on my compuiter, it's an Acer iconia tab w500, i had linux on it and a friend of mine told me about Remix os, i installed the latest version of it almost without any trouble, but afert playing with it for a while and turning it off it wouldn't turn on again, at first when it went in to grub rescue but i couldn't get further from there; then i tried installing the os again without grub, and after restarting it it said there was no bootable device...
I don't know what to do as i want to keep this system on my pc in single boot.
Thanks for any advice on this matter.
