I've replaced my touchscreen for a new one that i´ve bought in aliexpress and when I flash LOS 14.1 it doesn´t work. The rom boot and everything seems to be ok in the process but touchscreen doesn´t work. I've restore a backup to miui and it's ok. Latest firmware ok.
Any ideas?

Try flashing a custom kernel (like Radon or Agni) after flashing LOS. That might help

There are custom kernels that work on MIUI. Take a look at the development section
I have seen this since yesterday. Why screen replacement does this on stock kernel and how does custom kernels fix hardware issue?
I faced the same problem after screen replacement from AliExpress. Touch works on MiUI but not on official LOS. Flashing Agni kernel over LineageOS solved the issue for me.

Hello people, i just bought RN3 (Indian version with FPC sensor), i unlocked unofficially by flashing MIUI 7.1 and installed AICP 11 MM just after that, do i had to flash CM13 Firmware first?
Everything works fine but sometimes screen glitches and phone freezes so i have to force reboot it.
So should i now flash CM firmware? if yes with which TWRP? i'm using official twrp 3.0.2-2, reply soon....
Edit- solved
Flash CM firmware if your ROM is CM based at all, of course. If not, look for something in the ROM thread.

Personally I always flash it anyway. Fixes a few bugs like settings FC etc.

yes, that was live display bug in old kernels. fixed after a week of this post.
I have officially unlocked my phone and installed Strix's latest TWRP and the official CM 14.1 with firmware and all that but I got the bug where battery percentage would not change until a reboot.
So I tried to install the Radon custom kernel to fix it, but alas I got stuck in a bootloop.
I have tried both versions of Radon both the nougat versions and I tried AssassinX kernel too.
If anyone knows of a solution for this it would be much appreciated.
Check the radon thread, there is a problem with the latest Strix's TWRP.

Hello,
Currently running RR Rom but I'm running it with a lots of bugs like proximity sensor, auto rotate does not work. Except that everything works great. Can anyone suggest me a ROM so I can get over this problems.
Thank you.
For sure, i use latest xiaomi.eu rom and have non of this bugs
The only problem for me is that I'm in love with stock android. I had a Nexus 5x before.
NitrogenOS
Just flash with MiFlash latest global dev fastboot rom with flash_all option.
Set it up, enable usb debbugging, OEM unlock, check that you are unlocked.
Flash ZCX twrp, backup all partitions to microSD(46 or so), format data, wipe all partitions except microSD.
Flash NitrogenOS
AOSPExtended

Hello.
I am facing constant restarts on any Pie custom rom. I use reccomended treble TWRP, i have newest MIUI firmware, i wiped cashe\dalvik\system\data, and i formated data completely prior to installing. As soon as it boots, it restarts, and it happens over and over again. Am i missing something?

No. I had similar experiences. I eventually got GZOSP, which proved stable. I'm back to Oreo, of course.
Using lineage 16. 0 pie rom No Problem
Try without SIM card

I managed to figure it out. We need MIUI firmware based on global 8.1 rom (i had latest weekly build, but based on 7.1 rom). Just flash this and you are ready for Pie. Installed AospExtended and everything works great so far.

I flashed PE ROM and all three are completely broken, What is causing the problem and how to fix it? Is it specific to this ROM or any other custom ROM?
