Hello,
Yesterday I was replacing my screen protector, and I found odd thing. When I started removing original screen protector from the edge, there was another one. Unlucky I wasn't able to remove only the first one becouse it was sticked very good to second. Does P10 comes with two screen protectors preaplied?
mine has also two screen protectors. Pealed off the first already
the second one (closer to to the display itself) is a oleophobic film/foil
One is the screen protector, the other one is the protector of the screen protector. Mine came with a "peel-off-label" at the edge of the upper protector.

When I bought my XZU I immediately put on a tempered glass screen protector. Even before I touched the screen.
But I've noticed that compared to my old Note 4 I sometimes need to touch my XZU more firmly.
Is this down to the tempered glass screen protector AND the existing plastic one?
Or is it a general problem? Is it worth removing the plastic screen protector?
Does anyone here use a tempered glass screen protector for their Nexus 9? I was using mine on a treadmill and dropped it on it's back thankfully but I'm weary of that happening again. Is so, which brand do you use?

I purchased my Orzyl tempered glass on amazon.
What made me choose this was the rounded edges and thinness of the screen protector and I have had previously purchased a screen protector for my HTC one X a long time ago (so I knew this company is legit).
I accidentally dropped something metallic on the edge of the protector and it didn't shatter but it left a dink. This dink eventually turned into into a cracked screen protector but the crack didnt go everywhere; it just resides on the upper half of my screen and you honestly can't feel the cracked mark. It also fits snuggly but be sure to get it straight because mine is crooked LOL.
If I were to compare tempered screen protectors, this one is definitely the better one out of all I have purchased. The one I bought for my HTC M9 was 7 bucks but it already have light scratches on it already and I can see visible lines on my screen protector as if sand was gently rubbed on it. I can't even see a scratch on the Orzyl screen protector. IMO worth the buy.
Hey! I am the type of person who drops his phone once in a while and I ALWAYS put a screen protector on my new phones....
I prefer the 9H display protectors that cover up the whole display...
I searched for some for the OnePlus5 but found nothing convincing!
on amazon people wrote reviews that the original screen protector with the black bars covers up a bit of the lcd itself and not a single protector had mor than 3 starts out of 5...
then I checked out rhinoshield. 25 bucks is quite a lot but the screen protector by rhinoshield doesn't cover up the whole screen (confirmed by the product pictures and a review)
can anybody reccommend me a screen protector for the oneplus 5?
links would be great as well :
I just got my Mate 20 Pro. When I opened the sealed box, there was no protective film on the screen. But I noticed that even after using it for the past 2 hours, there are no fingerprints or smudges on the screen. It looks pristine. So what's the deal here? There's a special oleophobic coating on the screen? Doesn't it require a screen protector? Or is there a screen protector already fixed (I couldn't identify any protector edge).. Confused
My phones (the original and replacement for green screen ?) both didn't have a film in the screen, just the back and both were in sealed boxes
So do we need a screen protector for this mob or not?

All unboxing's that i've seen/read don't have a screen protector so that's normal.
Huawei say is scratch resistant glass but a few people have reported minor scratches very quickly.
Screen protector is a must I think but finding one that's compatible with the onscreen fingerprint reader AND a good sticky fit is proving difficult... keep an eye on the Screen Protector thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-20-pro/accessories/screen-protectors-t3856858
Hi.
I was using foil based screen protector for long time but it wear out so I'm out for something new. I thought about getting glass or hydrogel one but I've noticed they don't cover whole screen but only flat part. So the edges aren't protected and as a "bonus" this does create sharp edge that is especially noticeable when swiping from edge (like some gestures or something).
So is there good glass or hydrogel protector that covers whole screen, also with rounded part? Can you recommend any? Or should I get back to foil one if it bothers me so much?
My recommendation would be to get a case for the phone, as well. I'm still using the one that came in the box, and it works great with the screen protectors I've used. Though, I haven't tried a tempered glass one. I've been using film ones.
Haha...nevermind. I suppose you probably already got one in the intervening 6 months.
