Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids SM-T2105 Become Static And Keep Rebooting.. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a problem with my tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab Kids SM-T2105...
Everything works fine before (pre-patched rooted firmware T2105ZHAND2_T2105ZZHAND2_TGY) until I decided to do Factory Reset with the hope that it will become much smoother and faster.
So after pressing the Factory Reset, the tablet quickly turns off and reboot with something written in Chinese language. I didn't understand what it said and moreover it sort of stucked there. Then I force the tablet to power off. When I switched it back on, then comes the screen to setup everything again and I can change the language to English at this stage.
After everyhting is finished, all the data is gone. The tablet seems like new again. No stange app detected.
Then I started to install Lucky Patcher, Xposed and AdAway ..
After 1st time restart, all works fine ..
Then suddenly when transferring file from PC (total size about 1 GB from multiple files), then suddenly the tablet restart itself. And there is one mtptemp.MP4 file name which stays forever even after so many reboots and deleted so many times.
So here where the problem comes. The tablet will reboot after 2/3 minutes after each start.. So I am not able to do anything .. When uninstalling apps or delete files/transfer files, after reboot the tabler will revert itself to the condition with that mtptemp.MP4 file.
Now Factory reset from Setting will do nothing. After pressing many times Factory Reset, it will reboot to the CWM Recovery Mode instead. From this CWM, even I already pressed the wipe cache, format /system and everything, even Factory Reset, all command executed successfully. But after reboot, it will go back to the same condition.
From this Recovery Mode, I can still access adb, delete and send file. But still the same, after reboot, it will still stay exactly the same condition!!!
Flashing Odin also shows success, but still the same!!
So I have no more idea how to solve this!
The tablet become useless now, even it can powered on, it will reboot after few minutes.
So what else can I do?
Please help.
Thank you.

Anyone please?

Try to flash 4 file stock firmware with odin , if is deep software issue search also firmware with pit file.

Thanks Teddy..
This is the only I can get..
http://www.tsar3000.com/index.php?o...ader-csc-pit-files&catid=55:samsung&Itemid=82
It only have 3 files - pit, CSC & the main PDA file.
Have tried several version of Odin, different USB port, all fails! MAinly the error is There Is no PIT File althought I have specified the file.
And now to my surprise, even the Recovery mode also becomes static!
In Odin, it says successfully flashed but when I press the combination button it still load to the existing CWM recovery!! Oh God!!

How could this be??
I am really stressed.. Do I need to let this tablet go from now on??
Thanks.

While in Samsung Kies it goes forever like this until the device reboot and reboot again... :crying:

This is worked for me, thank you.

[Q] ODIN3 unable to write??

Hi,
My sons Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7510 has decided to wipe its self. On startup it goes straight to ODIN3 Download mode (Protocol v2.1)
I have spent the entire day reading what to do and finally came up with the following:
1. Download Kies ( Which will not connect)
2. Download Odin3 v1.85
3. Download an md5 file ( of which I have tried many and none seem to work)
4. start Odin3 > click PDA and select the md5 file > connect the tab and turn it on (the tab tells me its connected and the 0:[com7] turns yellow) > click start.
it starts off promising by going green, but then it goes red and tells me write : failed.
I have tried a few PIT files just incase and some bootloader files also to without success.
Am I using the right files?
firstly what has my son done!!! and secondly how the hell do I sort this, I am starting to loose my patience.... bescause I have no idea.
Any help very much appreciated

Go to www.sammobile.com and download the proper stock ROM for your tab, extract the zip, then flash the .tar.md5 file inside. You should uninstall kies too if I'm not mistaken. And if your version of Odin doesn't work, try the one I'm using, v1.87. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dib0w993qc284ki/Odin3v1.87.zip?dl=0
Your son probably simple pressed the power and volume buttons and he unintentionally went into recovery mode and wiped the tab I guess, this is the only thing I can think of, tho I don't know how it can completely wipe the tab, its been a long time since I've went into the stock 3e recovery.

Thanks
Unfortunately I get the same result..... write error.
Thanks for your suggestion though
Did you try using the Odin version I attached?
I have same problem now... Yesterday my tab crashed and I tried to reboot it but get a bootloop, recovery crashed also, tried to flash stock Rom and recovery through Odin but failed. Tablet showed few error lines, as you can see at picture. Would be very thankful if anyone could help.

Solved by fastboot flash recovery.
Thread Closed

Here is the thing. My phone is Kyocera Brigadier E6782 [Verizon], a very unpopular phone. Today morning, I downloaded SuperSu and it let me update the Binary or something like that.
Then I clicked the normal option, it fails. I clicked the cwm/twrp option afterwards, and it reboot. Plus it says it will enter recovery mode.
[Then it just made my day] +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=
Before that, I was totally unaware of barely anything about Android Flash, so I unsurprisingly did not have any recovery mode in my phone.
[But now I know because I learned on this day, thanks to the bootloop!]
When the phone starts to reboot into recovery mode, it became bootloop, bricked, - softly I think.
What I mean here is that now my phone can't boot, my computer doesn't recognize it. Most importantly, I can't load fastboot and recovery mode simply because I don't have that ****.
What's more, I don't have a removable battery[rugged version], which lots of threads mentioned, is fairly important!
My only clue is that the phone will pop up a 1 sec image and flashes, BOOM, restarts again and again.
I have read nearly every helpful threads in the xda about how to solve the brick, bootloop problem today. It does make me learn a lot. I tried adb, fastboot and all I left is to get you guys help here. I know this morning I was panic, but I think this is clear regarding to everything it just happened today. I hope someone can really troubleshooting or point a solution for me. I will be giving my biggest appreciation to that!
Not afraid of explosion, I let the phone fully charged last night, in the meantime it was still endlessly rebooting. When I get up this morning, I press the power button and vol up, a green notification[shows fully charged signal] was on after the phone shuts down. I hope it was a premonition of being able to enter the fastboot mode. God bless me.
did you find a solution
i have the same problem now with mine but i found out how to access the operating system while its boot looping, just hold volume up and power keys until a dialouge pops up saying failed to start then release power then immediately press again. then when it vibrates this time release all keys. it will boot up. i need to fix this bootloop because i cant format my phone or access recovery enviroment. when i goto install supersu it say cant install.

EASY fix for 'IMEI 00' / fixing EFS - (No backup needed) GT-I9300

Hello,
First I want to thank this forum for providing the information. This forum was a help in the process finding out this fix!
NOTE: I'm not claiming that this methode will fix this problems for everyone but it worked for me so maybe you can give it a try.
Problem/My situation:
I've tried to root a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 with the CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4, but after the proces my device wasn't rooted so I placed a SuperSu zipfile on my internal storage and flashed twrp-3.0.0-0-klte with odin on the device. I booted in recovery and installed SuperSu. Now my phone was rooted properly said the Root Checker app. But... when booting I'm never asked for a SIM pincode and my IMEI disappeared. After some googling I found out I had to fix the files in the EFS map..
I only backed up through 'Backup and restore' with my samsung account.. so that was quite useless.
What you need:
-Phone must be bootable in recovery and download mode
-PC with Kies and internet connection
******************your data will be lost********************
What I did/Solution:
Boot in recovery, go to 'Wipe' > 'Advanced', I checked ALL boxes and did the wipe.
I turned my device of.
Now what you got to do is pull your battery out and take note of the 'S/N', mine has this format: xx0xx0x0xxx
Now start Kies on your pc and connect your phone. Under 'Tools' you will find: Firmware upgrade and initialization, go there. You will be asked for your model, enter: GT-I9300, after that you must enter the S/N you found on the sticker under your battery.
As you follow the proces you put the phone in download mode (volume down, home and power button) and if you follow the steps mentioned on screen you will eventually get to a screen with 'Software update and initialization completed', it will tell you that the device will reboot and that you have to connect the cable afterwards...
Now, wait till you see the android logo and wait till you get to the

.
In my case it got stuck here, so I pulled out the battery.. And I placed it back in and booted normally.. Everything was okay, it worked!
So that's all, I hope this will help you with this problem!
EDIT:
Now, If you want to root the device:
1. Connect the phone to your PC
2. Download twrp-2.8.6.1-i9300.tar (Make sure it is this version! https://dl.twrp.me/i9300/twrp-2.8.6.1-i9300.tar )
3. Download SuperSu zip (I used 2.65)
4. Place the SuperSU ZIP on the phone's storage
5. Open Odin and load the twrp tar in AP and flash..
6. After rebooting turn your device off and boot in to recovery
7. Go to 'Install' and navigate to the Supersu zip and install..
8. After rebooting you should have a rooted GT-I9300
Hey there,
Thank you for your post.
I unforunately am in the same position as you and the above method I've tried many times, but it doesn't seem to work.
I'm currently playing around with other ways and means, so hopefully i'll be able to figure something out cause I flat out refuse to arrange hardware to fix it or send it to a Samsung Service place. They messed it up using the software updates surely they can fix it too!
I'll let you know how I get on.
Cheers

Trying to wipe locked S7 Edge, can't go into recovery mode

Hi, I have someone's old s7 edge which I'd like to use in place of my A10e lol, it still has their password on it tho. The screen seems to have some really weird issues, if I power it on using the home button or power button half the time the screen will be extremely dim/green and half of it will flicker. It looks and works perfectly fine the rest of the time though. I got it to the "recovery booting" screen, but the screen just flashes then goes near-black (still slightly glowing, doesn't turn off) then boots normally about a minute later.
I've tried around 40 times and can't get it to go into recovery mode. I have no idea what I'm doing but I put it in download mode and tried using Odin to flash it with files I got off sammobile. It didn't even connect at first but did after I installed Kies. Odin said it passed, the phone restarted, then just booted back up to the same lock screen. I then tried installing TWRP onto it, which failed saying it couldn't open the serial(com) port? That's where I am now... does anyone know if there's any way to wipe the phone?
@eggy1
If you've phone's Stock ROM ( ZIP file ) at your fingertips then you simply re-flash phone with this Stock ROM to bring back the phone to its initial state.
If you can access phone by means of ADB/Fastboot then it's really simple to do a clean install of phone's Stock ROM..

I can't get adb to detect the phone, but I flashed it successfully with Odin using the files from this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-s7-edge/how-to/sm-g935p-stock-odin-firmware-t3582821
It now seems to be stuck in a loop of recovery booting into the download mode screen, and occasionally into a caution screen that says no command.. should I try another rom?
@eggy1
Use SamFirm Tool what allows you to manually search and download the Stock ROM matching your phone.

Bricked device after latest software update

Hi,
I have recently updated my device to the latest software update and since then the device keeps restarting randomly.
I have managed to enter recovery mode, however none of the features listed. I have tried wiping data, wiping partition. Each time I selected one it would say wiping cache or wiping data and hang there until the next random reboot. The wiping task has never completed.
After this each time the device restarted it booted into recovery mode and I was unable to leave as none of the features there worked.
Then I left it on the charger overnight and now there is nothing on the screen. I tried force restarting it, then entering recovery mode and download mode without success.
The screen remain black.
When I plug the device in to the PC it shows up under the Other devices. The following image shows exactly how it shows up.

When I hold the Volume down and Power button, the device disappears momentarily then reappears which would suggest it has restarted.
Is there a way to fix this issue?

Sounds very similar to what happened to my 8 year faithfully working Nexus 7 tablet. One day I had it charging on my PlayStation and I rebooted the Nexus and it the PlayStation walked away when I came to use the tablet it wouldn't do anything (no sound either) but when plugged into a computer it was recognized. I figured I fried it so I didn't look to far into if fixing was even a possibility .
