Wll try...thanks

Hi, just extract the zip using ES file explorer or any other app. Inthe extracted files, select META-INFO folder }Google} "updater script". Rename "updater script" to "updater script.txt". Then delete from starting till starting of "ifelse".(text shud b starting with "ifelse").
Then save the text, rename again to "updater script". Then again compress the whole files to zip format. Then try to flash using twrp

I am quite a noob, and since u are a senior member, can u guide me how to install cm13? I am on EMUI4.0 but twrp is not installing the latest nightly, there appears to be a system mismatch or something. It says something like incompatible with EXT4 system. I tried to change it with TWRP but there was no option of F2FS.

Since you're on EMUI 4 you shouldn't face problems when instaling cm13, check if the rom file is corrupted (not downloaded properly)

If you have compiled this recovery from the source code, then it would also be possible to compile the Cm. In addition to operating the f2fs file system

Just download this file and archive it to a .tar file. You can do that with 7zip,i don't think you can do that with Winrar.

File from first post packed to a tar for direct flashing through odin. Tested and working fine.
Updated this recovery with red variant, Upgrade to TWRP 3.1.1-0, Removed cursor like before and Odin flashable now aswell . Enjoy

you must have installed a custom recovery or have rooted your official rom that is why it doesn't download updates
you have to flash your stock rom through odin first then you can receive updates
if you are doing this just for installing stock MM then download latest firmware or MM firmware for your variant and flash it
enjoy MM

That's because it's a zip. Remember how in the beginning we needed to update twrp to flash oreo roms or it would give error 7. It's same here. And also treble roms are system.img file which we have to flash, and not any .zip file. Unless and until someone updates our twrp to support android p dev preview. It would be a hard time installating here.
Has anyone tried the new uploaded builds?

If you are in OOS11 you will get the OP recovery, so you will need to flash TWRP by fastboot.
I don´t know why to patch boot.img for magisk. I flash magisk v21.4 (v23 always fail when flasing with twrp, I think my .zip is corrupted ) from TWRP and then it works. After rebooting it can be ugraded to 23.
