Has anyone come across this problem and/or have a possible solution? When trying to access websites that come up in the Google app search, the app closes and goes back to my home screen. This problem only happens when trying to open pages and not just searching for key words. I've uninstalled updates and cleared data for chrome and Google app but still no joy.
Hi , do you have custom rom instaled on your device and did you tried to update Google Play services ?

Hi all, Some services of Google(Youtube, etc) are blocked in my country and I'm unable to download any apps from Google Play.
Tried everything which was suggested in forums. E.g Market Unlocker Pro, Hotspot Shield VPN, and many proxies. One of many proxies worked last night by using which i was able to open google play but couldn't download apps. and Now I can't even view apps on Google Play. Now I think there's nothing left for me to try except sharing my problem. If there's any possible solution left. Then please suggest. Any help will b appreciated. Thanks
Hey guys,
So for some time now I noticed that my google talk app was working intermittently. I thought it was a one day thing, but the problem persisted. It wasn't until by chance that I went to the google play store and searched for the new app, google hangouts, and selected "open" from the play store that it worked and signed me in without any problem. So I thought to download the app, when I did and tried to sign on, it always says, "couldn't sign in because we couldn't reach Google, try again" Has anyone else had this problem?
Also I am unlocked and rooted. In addition I read this thread from this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2280486&highlight=google+hangouts
but they trick they suggested didn't work for me.
Has anyone else experienced this issue on their rooted htc one and solved it?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
after searching the forums, I havn't found a solution to my particular issue with the Play Store:
I'm always getting the error message "no connection". Even though it's not a connectivity issue related to my IP or whatsoever: I can with no issues access the playstore via the browser.
I have:
- cleared the cache and deleted the date of Google Play
- deleted all data in use at Google Services
- uninstalled Google Play Updates
- uninstalled Google Play and installed a .apk I downloaded from the web
- tried the market enabler app - even though I wasn't expecting any improvement from that move
- updated from 4.3 to 4.4
result: Google Play still tells me to have "no connection"
What else can I try besides resetting my phone?
Thanks!

well, that is the only ticket available to you. Why not backup->reset->restore a better option rather than wasting times while searching for solutions
well, i resetted and it's now working again.

I can tell you there are many problems with the Play Store, at least on the Developer side of things, such as statistics for example.
For me, sometimes it works after i delete the hosts file from /system/etc/
I don't really know what causes it. It only happens on some specific ROMs..

I've just said that. You don't really need to repeat it. You're just trying to increase your number of posts. -.-

Accidentally cleared Google Services Framework/Now can't access Play Store & Internet
Hey guys so I encountered this problem because I was trying to get rid of an error popping up every time I open wifi on my phone, it was something like gapps stopped working and that would go on 3-4 times in 1 minute intervals every time I turn on wifi.
So I read something saying that you should just clear the data on a couple of internal apps on my device like the google play store and other apps similar to the Google Services Framework found on the ALL tab on manage apps.
So I proceeded to uninstall the updates on Google play store, I even uninstalled Google Play Services completely since it was just huge, then when I cleared the data for Google Services Framework when I tried accessing the Play Store, I wasn't able to. It just said Server error, even if I keep retrying it just won't connect. Same thing applies to cloud to device updates or basically anything that I can do with an internet connection that I previously had.
I was just wondering if anybody can help me solve this one.
I'm running a custom rom from Destructo570, the Extremis 2.1
Thanks in advance devs, as always.
You can try restoring the stock rom

Hi,
Recently I've been experiencing a continuous problem, and it's really annoyning. Suddenly in some random of time an app that I unknown which it is, is launching the play store to ask for game app installation like clash of clans or wasabee, and on other moments launch chrome browser to show a page for donwload and install whatsapp. No notifications is shown.
¿How can I identify which app is doing this? I solution is reset my xperia, ¿It is possible to save data of apps and recovery after reinstalled avoiding spam app?
I'd appreciate your help.
Aldemar
You have to take it (app) one by one start with the latest installed and delete it and see what happens
try "Ad Detect Plugin" app from google play store. try checking which apps are running by going to settings>apps>running might have to it few time the app which is causing it should be running whenever it happens. if you are rooted try lucky patcher and see which apps have advertisement . or try titanium backup and freeze the app that you thing is causing it and see if the ads come back.

Does this happen only while browsing internet?
If Yes, then it's just website spam, if not then you have to search every app that may cause it (for example freezing most of the apps).
