[Q] google hangouts, trouble - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Hey guys,
So for some time now I noticed that my google talk app was working intermittently. I thought it was a one day thing, but the problem persisted. It wasn't until by chance that I went to the google play store and searched for the new app, google hangouts, and selected "open" from the play store that it worked and signed me in without any problem. So I thought to download the app, when I did and tried to sign on, it always says, "couldn't sign in because we couldn't reach Google, try again" Has anyone else had this problem?
Also I am unlocked and rooted. In addition I read this thread from this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2280486&highlight=google+hangouts
but they trick they suggested didn't work for me.
Has anyone else experienced this issue on their rooted htc one and solved it?
Thanks in advance

[Q] HELP! Market crash on my Live With Walkman

I have a Live with Walkman (WT19i) that recently has been rooted. I use original live Walkman ROM (gingerbread 2.3.4 build number 4.0.2.A.0.58).
I'm not using any custom ROM, just this original, and never faced any problem at all. The problem started when I found a patch of Google play store on a forum. The steps was to put the apk into the system and change the permission. I guessed I already do the right steps, and then rebooted my phone. But after that, whenever I tried to open the Market, there was an error message 'com.android.vending has stopped working'. I tried to clear data and cache but no luck. I tried to install a lot of different Play Store apk but still the same. after I tried several times, the market opened but when I tried to download, the error popped up again. I cleared data and cache several times. succeeded in open the market again. But when the market told me to agree to the ToS with my email, it FC again.
I got frustrated and then I tried Reset Factory. It wiped all my data, and the worst is after the Reset Factory, I couldn't find the 'market'. It's really made me frustrated. Then I found a similar problem with me at this forum [http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...-com-android-vending-has-stopped-unexpe.html] which tell me to install those apk one by one. The Market is for HTC phone, but it works for me until now. The application stays as 'Market' not "Play Store", I can open and download the apps from there, BUT maybe because the server of that Market is from India (while I'm from Indonesia), sometimes when I browsing/downloading, it took several minutes to loading. AND ALSO whenever I tried to open Paid Applications from market, I got that 'com.android.vending' error message again.
Then I realized that at the very beginning of this Market version, it does asked me to agree with ToS of Market, BUT without a detail of my email, only the agree sentence (While in the Play Store, it comes with current email, right?).
And then I also realized that some applications with my registered email in my phone, such as YouTube has a problem I never faced before this Market problem. When the YouTube ask me to Sign in with my email, I put it in and after that the YouTube FC. I reopen it, and an error appears like this 'an error occurred'. But the YouTube still opened, just that error appears every time I open YouTube.
So I realize that maybe something is wrong with my email in my phone. It is like this:
- The actual Play Store ask to agree with ToS with the email stored on my phone, but it suddenly FC. While my current Market (HTC version) didn't comes with email at the beginning of ToS and doesn't FC.
- Before I got this Market problem, my YouTube always signed in without problem. But now, that 'an error occurred' message always popped up every time I open YouTube but it doesn't FC.
- I realized that when we open a Paid Application from market, it needs our email detail which I think that trigger the error of my market again since it related with email.
BUT there is no error in my Gmail application in my phone. It sync messages like usual. That is I don't know why,
And one thing. For now, whenever I tried to install a Play Store apk, it never succeeded. It always ended "Application not installed".
Only this HTC version of market that I got from that forum could be installed. I don't know why.
I'm really confused right now because I don't know what to do with this since I used my original ROM. I've searched several forum including XDA, but there are only with custom ROM which I'm afraid I couldn't touch it with my original ROM and beside I don't really know much about this kind of problem, only the basic knowledge for rooted phone users. Please help mo to resolve this problem because I really love my phone so much and want it works without problem...
Please help and thank you very much before..
Anyone please..?
Sent from my WT19i using xda premium
Anyone there maybe can help me? Please, until now I can't resolve this..

Perhaps you should try posting your questions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2054
Since you wiped your data, flash a ftf file with flashtool. It should work, as it has never failed me.

[Q] Play Store search not working

Hi, 5 days ago,I noticed that when I search something on google play app, or on website(when logged in),no results will show. When I log-out from website, results are there. I tried changing e-mail address, but today friend told me that he has the same issue. So my question is- did anyone had same issue, how to solve that? Google play doesn't have email contact, only phone, I tried entering my number few times, but they won't call...

so,it is not isolated issue..that is good thing
anybody has an idea what to do?
It has been acting a little stupid even when I search from my laptop lately also.
I don't think it is device specific at all so probably nothing wrong with yours.
nope,tried more than 5 connections

[Q] GT-I9500 Google's apps (Gmail, Play Store, Hangouts) Not working Android 4.3

Hi guys,
I am a newbie here, so I will just explain it in layman's terms. I am running Android 4.3 on Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 variant. Its not rooted. I have been using it since I bought it a year ago, with no problems. Since yesterday my Gmail, Play Store, Hangouts are not working and it always give "No Connection" error. I tried clearing up the cache, clearing up the data of Google Play Store and Google Play Services as many other forums and threads have advised, but it's not working. I also tried the factory reset, and it went crazier as I wasn't able to sign in my Google Account in the first place. After trying again and again and again it miraculously signed in, but I still cannot access Google's other apps. I thought somehow the host file can be responsible for it but I don't know how it could be or how to fix it, if it is the culprit. I will be grateful to you guys if you can help out here
Thanks

I have the same issue on a GT-I9505 since tuesday 27/05, reseting the phone makes things work for about 15 minutes, then they all stop working.
I am going to try to figure out if it was something that got installed in the last few days, if all fails I will try a factory reset and later a new ROM.

Error in Google Play [DF-SA-01]

I'm running official ICS on Xperia U and I'm facing some problems.
I tried to install Sonic Dash in Google Play but it would be stuck on "Transferring..." so since I couldn't stop the proccess I had to uninstall updates of Google Play.
When I launched Google Play again and tried to install it again, it shows error "Error retrieving information from server[DF-SA-01]", or something like that. I googled it and tried all the suggestions; however it just wouldn't work. I tried to remove Google Account and adding it again using both the Google Play method and the settings one but it would say that the account is already on the phone (I EXPLICITLY REMOVED THE ACCOUNT, checked everything and it would ask for Google Account).
What should I do now? This error is extremely annoying and I'm about to throw my phone on the wall. I don't think formatting will work, didn't try that but I don't want to lose my data. What if in the end it glitches again and says "There is already a account with that email [email protected]"?
Thanks. I'm pissed off, sorry.

Youtube and play store refusing to boot

So today my z2 decided that it would be smart to piss me off by refusing to boot google play store(note: i havent touched anything) saying that Google play Store has stopped.... It DID work fine till yesterday...
Regarding youtube?
It never ever opened since i first got this phone, always force closed... I tried updating it, but nothing came out of it...
My bl is locked, i am rooted but i am using the rom that the phone came with...
Any ideas??
Have you tried to clear that data in settings?
Yep...
Twice for each app and i rebooted right afterwards...
But the problem persists
Edit: i used ogyoutube as an alternative to youtube and it is working fine... But as soon as I try to log in to my Gmail account, to get full functionality... It gives a 401 error... Could the problem have to do with my Gmail account?
Anyone??
