I have a microusb cable, and also tried an HML type buy neither one seems to work.
Does this pad have support for this?

1. Huawei Mate 10 Pro (BLA-L29) EMUI 9.0.0
2. Microsoft Xbox 360 Wrieless Receiver for Windows (adapter + controller)
3. OTG UGreen USB 3.0 Type-C
Pendrive/lamp works with OTG. When I connect adapter controller don't pair with android.
I have too Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus (MIUI 10 android 8.1) and china OTG USB 2.0, after connect controller works fine.

Just wanted to say that if you want to use a Usb-C to 3.5mm audio adapter you need to buy a adapter with a built in DAC.
I bought different analog adapters that didn't work.

Kinda makes sense since there is a headphone jack, therefore sony didnt see the necessity of passthrough analog audio via the usb-c

Of course. In my usecase my rig covers the 3.5mm jack so the only way to connect my microphone was through usb-c
I have the Xperia 5ii I use the Samsung usb c earphones and they work
