I would like some apk that works Google Camera "Frontal, Portrait mode" because I have tested in several different apk and only the portrait mode works in the rear camera.
Redmi 5 Plus, Vince, Miui EU, Android 7.1.2, api2 camera enabled!

HDR will only work with Snap Camera. No other apps can use HDR. its on all custom ROMs
Snap camera ain't getting installed. Gives storage error.
flash the camera Libs and then move the Snap Camera to System apps.

I'm trying to install Gcam port on my mido (Redmi Note 4) running LineageOS 15.1 but whenever I try to capture a picture from rear camera with HDR or HDR enhanced mode enabled it stops working, It crashes every time while processing HDR+ and also when I try to capture a pic in portrait mode with rear camera. And surprisingly it happens with rear camera only, and works just fine with front camera.
For more information I want to tell you that I already tried enabling HAL3 and Camera2API.
Please help me making it work. PLEASE.

So I've been using the Miui Camera app for a little while, just before I unlocked the phone and went to LOS16. On LOS16 I'm using the default camera app, but am missing a couple of things from the Miui Camera app. In particular the Fingerprint Shutter and the different modes (AI / portrait and such). Would it be possible to create a separate apk file of the original Poco Miui-camera, to run on Custom Roms?

Its know fact that xiaomi and other brands original camera will not work on los 15, 16. Its because it uses code that is not opensource and is locked to miui system. Only alternative is google cam port, or using camera apps from google playstore like opencamera, footej camera and others.
Can you use the video stabilization in LOS 16?

Slow motion is not working. Video Stabilization is on, at least, that is what it says. Seems to stabilize my movement.
Main reason I am on LOS 16 at the moment is Android Auto, which works there.

i think that's not true, I've seen whyred (redmi note 5 pro or ai global version) stock camera for custom rom on magisk module. Maybe it'll need more time for the development

Today I have miui and the gcam app, but the portrait mode of the miui cam, although more exaggerated, seems to wok better. The gcam app uses the second sensor or do it all by software? If I install pixel experience rom + the miui cam port, the miui cam will be able to perform like in the miui rom (using the second sensor)? Thanks!

i think its impossible because thats not how gcam works
unless google themselves add support for a secondary depth sensor
The manual mode on the camera does not work with the 64MP option. 1. Am I the only one who cares... 2. Do we know if this is something that can be fixed with an update. 3. Is there an app that can access the 64MP mode that DOES have manual settings?
hmmm I will try diff camera apps and see.
yeah tried 4 camera apps that have pro manual mode but no good for the v60. only 64mp photos on auto mode.
There is a modded Open Camera app but it didn't work for the v60, 64mp mode works with another phone though.
