Extending battery capacity by adding another in parallel ! - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

Stock battery stats is located here (its like a log)
/sys/class/power_supply/battery/
In uevent, charge_full and charge_full_design have this value 3150000(3150mAh)
As I added another battery in parallel with stock battery
I want it to be 6200mAh but it still shows 3150mAh which cannot be modified so, where can battery capacity be edited?
Aka where to find and change battery capacity?
I am pretty sure it's in system partition and I can't find anything related to this after searching on google.
I also have triple checked the connection nothing wrong.

Solution
You need to navigate to /system/framework/framework-res.apk
Then you can decompile the apk by changing the extension .apk to zip.
After extracting go to res/xml/power_profile.xml
There will be many unreadable this showing an null would be there.
You need to find the word battery capacity and after that there will be the current battery percentage
Change it to the number you want.
After that save an repack the zip and rename it to .apk
After that copy and replace the apk to the the/system/framework in recovery mode.
Don't replace while you are using the rom.if you do you'll get force close warnings.

[Q] How to change the icon battery and the bar of notification very easily?

Good evening.
I would wish to change the icon of battery and the bar of notification of my Tel. but, there not knowing nothing, I request your assistance.
If somebody could explain me handling to be made to help me.
Thank you for your future answer.
You need to Edit framework-res.apk. open it with 7zip & under the folder \res\drawable-hdpi you need to edit all stat_sys_batt,stat_sys_battery_charge_anim pngs.
you can edit status_bar_background.png for notification background.
status_bar_item_background_normal.9.png,status_bar_item_background_focus.9.png,status_bar_item_background_pressed.9.png...
But remember ending with .9.png files are not normal png file..so plz read this forum before edit that.
after edit all required .pngs you need to just replace the same with 7zip.
Thank you for your answer, subhankar.ds.
On the other hand, I must replace the files xml icon battery or it is not necessary because, you do not speak about it.
I all have just replaced (all the images of the icon battery aisi that the files xml - > result: more icon battery.
From or can this problem come?
On the other hand, when do I replace all the files, they put myself at the date of today how mettrent them at the date of all the other files?
Small question: Does the icon battery that I wish on my X10 come from a topic of Samsung Galaxy S I9000, is there modification to make to make it read by X10?

[Q] Battery Percents

I'm trying to get the stock battery percent icons into adrynalyne's basic debloat
I've swapped icons before, but I can't seem to get any battery icon showing with this rom.
1. I went into framework-res.apk ->res-> drawable ->
I changed stat_sys_battery.xml with that xml file from other roms that had 100 icons (das bamf 1.2 and also tried from the Perfect Storm rom)
2. I added to the drawable-hdpi folder the 100 battery stat icons from the Perfect Storm rom (I liked chingy's icons)
I have no battery icons at all in the notification bar now, just a space where an icon should be. What am I doing wrong? Any help in the right direction would be appreciated thanks
EDIT: This has been fixed, see my post below http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12792718#post12792718
+1 on this.
I have themed many ROM's and edited countless XML files and could not get this to work. I went as far as decompiling the framework and typing the extra lines of code in the battery.xml but still could not get it to work.
if you are rooted ( i am assuming so)
pull the framework-res.apk
go to this site------- http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
create whatever battery icon you want in the kitchen
upload your apk file
wait for the kitchen to cook your file (takes about 10 mins)
download and flash in CWR

PM me, I have the smooth sense icons images that i'm trying to port over to any ROM but can't seem to get it right
Since I got my tbolt back, I've decided to stick with the stock rooted odexed software.
I tried the same process as in my original post.. I'm trying to change the battery icons (not changing the charging icons though) and no matter what I do theres just a blank space where the battery icon should be. I tried using a different set of png's and same problem. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I tried with only a battery mod (stock odexed) and the phone force closed like crazy, when I changed the xml and png's myself I had no issues other than the battery icon not showing
any luck i already have the icons i want to use just need to know how to change form increments of 1 to increments of 10
I believe signal23's framework has the smooth battery icons. Also are you decompiling/compiling the framework correctly when you are getting no battery showing? For increments of 10 you just need to edit the stat_sys_battery.xml so it only reports in increments of 10.

i havent been decompiling/compiling, i just opened the apk with winzip and dragged and dropped the files overwriting the old ones. i use a stat_sys_battery.xml to report increments of 1 since im using 100 icons, put in the 100 icons in the drawable-hdpi folder, put it through an update zip, and the phone worked the same, just no battery icon at all showed up

Frameworks can be very sensitive. Double check that you are replacing with icons of the same size. Also, double check all file names (I once had one file with capital extension mess it all) and double check the xml. Whenever I had a disappearing battery indicator it was due to something small like that. One way to debug this is to start with the original and only replace a few of the icons (make sure it's around your charge level). Keep adding modifications until you find the offending file.
FIXED
I found a fix. When you change from the stock number of icons to 100 icons, the stat_sys_battery.xml is assigned a new resource_id in the file resources.arsc see: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/12834-compiling-xmls-system-level-mods-2.html
The first time I tried UOT kitchen I got all kinds of force closes, so this time I unchecked the Patch9 autofix (not sure if that made any difference) and I used the stock icons instead of custom ones. This finally worked.
After I got this to work, I ported the battery icon's from chingy51o's Perfect Storm rom (the colors are closer to stock than UOT Kitchen's icons)
Attached is an update.zip to put chingy's battery icons into a stock rooted Thunderbolt, thanks to chingy51o and UOT Kitchen. Please make a full backup of your system before applying this, I am not responsible if this bricks your device
I installed this and am loving it but upon boot I'm getting an amazing amount of Force Closes.
Including, but not limited to:
Gmail
Google Search
HTC DM
Internet
Also tried applying a wallpaper and got "Warning: Phone Storage is Full"
I just tried doing it myself using http://uot.dakra.lt/ and after booting I kept getting the same force closes and errors :/
Any help?
No one?

Creating Battery Mods

So i have been attempting to create a battery mod using some of the ones for the i9100 and i have been failing. I'm currently running Cognition V2. I only want the battery icon to change. and i know the files are in the framework-res.apk in the drawable-hdpi. I was told i can put all the image files in a modified Framework-res.apk and put in the framework folder. then rename the one the phone is using and then rename the modified one to exactly what it is suppose to be. It works for him but when i do it i instantly get FC when i change the name of the file. then after a reboot the correct battery icon is there but i get lots of FC's including the all important android.phone.com. So i must be doing something wrong. i was conversing in the Cognition section but since its off topic i moved it here. any help and tips are appreciated.

The key is to move the modified framework-res apk (correctly named and ready to move) into system (not in a subfolder), change the permissions to the appropriate ones there (sd card won't let you do them). I'm pretty sure the permissions are rw-r-r. They have to match the permissions of the file it's replacing. This is why you get the FCs. From here, move it into the framework folder, it'll prompt if you want to replace, hit yes or ok. Reboot.

[Q] SGSII: Battery Increment

Hi,
I have never modded the battery icon, and was wishing to do so, however before I could I wanted to know what the SGS2 battery increment is. I think I understand what is meant by 'battery increment'.
If I'm not mistaken, GS2 is 1%, please clarify.
And, how can I revert back to stock icons, If I decide to revert back?
Thank you.
Stock samsung decresses in 5 or 10 % increments so if you wanted an accurate battery you would need to install the mod first.
After that all battery pngs can be found in framework-ui.apk in system/framework folder you can replace png's with winrar no problem, files are called
stat_sys_battery_XX.png XX = battery percentage.
and are found in the drawable-hdpi folder in the apk.

Battery Mod Help

Afternoon all,
I was wondering if any one could alter the Battery Icon in this zip file i have attached, so that it is the normal Stock battery icon, this one has the percentage in the battery itself, also it has the No clock in the status bar which i would like to keep, all i want changed is the battery itself.
This is NOT my work it is Michxda's work which is the taken form the Enhanced battery % mods which can be found HERE.
if someone could do that for me I would be most grateful.
Thanks very much.

Schumi, I've attached the modded SystemUI.apk use an archiving tool such as 7zip or Win RAR to paste the new apk into the zipped folder (+Enhanced_battery___mod_de-odexed_nc.zip/ system) then flash as normal.
