T95z Plus TV Box works but screen shows black.. - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers
Hi i hope everyone is doing great today.
I brought this device a few weeks and worked pretty good. I havent used it for like 2 weeks it was always on sleep mode because i havent turn the tv on for 2 weeks. (it shows like a red light which is sleep mode on the device)
I switch the tv on and then the device with the remote control. It turn on blue indicating it is now on. But for a reason i cant seem to find it the android page on the screen.. it usually just click HDMI1 Or HDMI2 on the tv... like it worked all the times but now i cant see nothing no apps nothing. It has the device on and even if i tried to restart and unpluged and take out the HDMI cable off and back on the device will remain blue as in turn on at straight up even when i plug the cable back in.
So is there a way to fix this or a restart ? i dont no what happenend to the device or what is going on.
Not an issue with the tv...dvd player works... tv works... channels working. But the device shows a blank screen. i tru press the turn off button on the remote control but nothing does to it because there is a blank black screen on tv. I have the device unplug from the wall but even if i turn the power on the back wall the device will always show blue as in its on it is no longer sleep mode.... But still dont see anything on the tv screen for the device to the area which i normally watch. I checked the cables everything seems fine.
The small device has no reset or buttons.. you just have to relie on the remote control instead.
What happened to the device i have no idea... its just shows the device has a blue light at it. When its blue this means the device is turn on.
Since i haven't used the device for 2 weeks it was always on red colour on the device which means (the device is on sleep mode) because im not watching tv)
So what can i do? what do you think what is wrong? Nothing shows on the tv screen for it. But the device has now kept itself on blue light which means its always now ON if i plug the cables... it wont go to sleep mode or anything as in red light but nothing i can do because i dont see anything on the tv screen for this android device
Can you help? thank you

But i dont see nothing on screen no way for me to restart or anything because theres nothing on the screen on display. Just a blank screen. And no no one has touched the tv what so ever.
I have the same problem. Any solutions yet?
try this, it could be the power issue. unplug the power adapter cable from the device and use the USB port and USB cable for supplying power to the device.
Same issue second box now just frozen tried reset unplugging etc

[Q] Freezes while charging
Currently I'm running Com 2.1 with 5/31 -50v PBJT kernel. Which so far seems to be running fine. The phone charges fine, provided I have the phone already turned on. The problem occurs if I turn the phone off and plug in the cable. It doesn't matter whether its via the wall or computer. The battery symbol will show up on the screen and I'll see the animation symbol that shows up in the battery. But the symbol freezes, no battery status will show up. Power button doesn't work. I can tap the bottom buttons and they'll light up. The only thing to do is pull the battery. Anyone run across anything remotely similar? thx
[Q] Need a way to automatically lock or turn off phone
I'm looking for a possible app that can automatically lock the phone regardless of what it is doing. I use the MHL to HDMI cable to output to my tv when I'm in bed and I like to watch shows to put me to sleep. The thing is when the cable is plugged in, the phone's screen never turns off because it would turn off the tv display as well. The display just goes dim when it's idle. I can manually lock it and it will shut off, but I would like something that can send a lock command or a power off command after a certain amount of time, sorta like a sleep mode. I don't like having my phone screen's stay on until morning even though it's staying fully charged. It's usually pretty warm when I wake up. Is there any way this can be done?
Maybe it could be done with tasker? https://market.android.com/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm&feature=search_result
I gave it a try and it seems like a really nice app, but I couldn't find a way to command it to lock or turn off the phone. There were 2 options I saw called "lock" and "system lock" and I tried both but nothing happened when the specified event occurred. I'm tempted to try the HDMI on my Galaxy Tab 10.1, but I'm thinking it would remain on as well if plugged in. Thanks for the suggestion though.
{SOLVED}No Display!!Xperia Tablet Z!!!
Hi Tablet z Users.. to make the long story Short,i went into the pool. its working just fine. I powered it off and when I boot it up again, led didn't lit and no signs of life. UNTIL its alarm clock sounded(I do have an alrm set on my TabZ). my tablet has No Display right now. alarms are still working, touch is still working(i can play a songs from Walkman app since i'm familiar with its location on the home screen.) -indicators in the ports didn't turned red. -LED not blinking(fastboot mode & turned on) i can also boot into fastmode( flashmode not tried yet). when it is on(with no display) my pc can't recognize my tabZ... is this a hardware problem on the display or it still can be fixed by flashing? Edit: I can see the icon but it is too dark..i have to view it under the sun light to see it. and i can see rainbow.. i'll try to wither it under the sun..hope it can be recovered.!! Edit2: i turned off my tabZ for 2days. Put inside the plastic container with 4 bags of desiccants.. After that, since i can boot it up occasionally, i repaired it through pc companion...hope it helps some of you guys.. Thanks in advance. SGP311 4.3 .109
Device won't turn on
Anyone has any idea what I could do with the following. Device turned off while in water. 3 weeks later, I plugged the device in a charger. The red light was blinking in the top left corner. I left it plugged in for maybe 15min. The screen cycled between the red lightning bolt in a circle, and to a green one. Briefly on green it would turn off, and eventually show the red one again. 15min or so later I went into fast book mode. It said something about RPL being locked. I shut it down, went in eRecovery instead. From there I did a shutdown. And then tried to start the phone. Low and behold it turned on. I plugged it in my computer but the charging showed 2%. So I turned off the device and left it plugged in for the night. This morning, the device didn't start. No red blinking light when trying to charge it, and no fast boot, nor eRecovery. any idea?
I really don't get it. Does the Mate 10 Pro have 2 different memories that could work independently? I was able to get it to wake up, and tried to get into fastboot. What I got instead is a "Software Install Failed" message with a URL to emui.com that is as useful as a thumb in my forehead. When trying eRecovery, I tried, wipe cache partition, didn't change anything. I tried reboot system, brings me back to eRecovery, so I tried Download latest version and recovery. It connects to my wifi (how on earth does it finds the password?!?) and downloads a 3099M bundle (8.0.0.143). Then runs the recovery system. I get a Recovery Success screen, then reboot. Guess what? Goes back to the same eRecovery screen. I can't get it to normal boot at all. And shutdown? Well.... that's the mystery. If I do shutdown. Then when I try to start the phone, screen stay black. Like the last time. Not sure what I did to get it back.
M5 boot stuck half-way, rest of screen black, shuts off after a min
Hi all, I got this Xperia M5 that's been giving out warnings about memory being full and I suppose it finally gave in. It only partially boots after like a full minute of showing you those blue waves. When it 'boots' the screen is black and nothing works, except you can see the status bar with just the battery icon, no-SIM icon and the clock. Weird thing is when the device is powered off, you can press the power button once and it'll display a large battery indicator which shows the percentage normally-- I've seen this go up from 0 to over 90 something incrementally. But when it's 'on' the way I just described, the battery is always at 0% with a red ! next to it. Anyway, when it's in this weird half-life mode, you can actually pull down the notification bar normally, and tap stuff as well. Flashlight works, you can see an actual WiFi list (nothing happens when you connect) etc. When you launch stuff through here though, like settings, it won't open anything. It'll make the sound as if it's launched something but the remainder of the screen will still be black. Using the dedicated camera button, I can access the camera. It works (sort of), meaning you can see the camera display where the screen used to be black. And it immediately says "system process is not responding," so I'm guessing this is a system issue where it can't load basic stuff like the homescreen? Whatever you do or don't do, it stops responding after a couple minutes and shuts itself off. Stuff I've already tried: - Safe mode (volume down + power), just 'boots normally' - Recovery mode (volume up + power) done that for over two minutes, does nothing or just 'boots normally' - Hold down the tiny yellow 'off' button under the SIM/SD cover, did nothing. - Xperia Companion: PC won't recognize the phone either in that zombie state, or when it's off, so I tried 'device cannot be detected', shut phone down, held down volume down button, connected USB still holding down, waited for a while and viola, nothing happened. It's factory OS, never messed around with it and I don't know the version (could be 5?). Any ideas?
Guys at this point all I'm wondering is if anyone ever managed to brick a phone that's as semi-responsive as this one, in the history of bricked android phones anywhere.. I mean how could it be bricked when you can (sort of) boot and even open the camera?
you said it boots in download mode?
paranoic(d) said: you said it boots in download mode? Click to expand... Click to collapse No I wouldn't say download, it's weird-- there's the status bar at the top and soft navigation keys at the bottom, but the homescreen in between these is black. I tried tapping this black area to see if stuff is there logically but you just can't see them, but there was no interaction, no sound or anything. I am able to pull down the status bar to reveal the usual buttons and such, like I mentioned before you can turn on the flashlight, click to see a list of available wifis etc. But you can't access settings through here, I mean you tap settings and the main part of the screen is still black. The only way to get the screen to work is to open the camera through its dedicated button, where the camera display works normally, you can switch cameras etc. Tried accessing the gallery through here but it didn't work. I just don't wanna buy a new phone when this one doesn't seem bricked at all. If it like didn't respond at all and nothing appeared on the screen I wouldn't think twice before buying the first phone I see on Google.
im afraid that you have to flash stock rom again if you will boot into download/fastboot mode.but your problem seems strange.what was the last thing you have done before phone stuck like this?

I got the PC to recognize it once in that zombie state, so I'll try that with Companion if I can get it to half-boot again. I'll post updates if anything happens.
