Hello,
Im using nitro os + radon Kernel and my charging is going up to 0.8A max! So im having really slow charging... I tried few different cables (that are capable of charging via 2 amps) + few chargers and still nothing changes... Other devices are getting 2 amps no problem. I even cleaned my micro USB port.
Please help me guys

hey guys .. before I tell you about my problem I want to apologize for my bad english
my problem is that my phone is charging with just 500ma max. .. I took that information from the app "ampere"
I bought a new cable and everything was alright for 1-2 weeks .. then I bought a very expensive cable from ebay for 10 Euros
same thing but this time it only worked for 3 days .. does anyone got the same problem with this phone?
the le max 2 is very hot while charging, could this be the answer to all the broken cables I got?
I thought about buying a USB Type C to Micro USB Adapter but how fast would it charge?

I charge with original charger . I use original cable as well as some other from Aliexpress. I measure the charging parameters with external USB tool. I have never had problems with charging. Maybe I'm so lucky. I'm also using qc 3.0 powerbank.
Currently I'm using Tiegem 3.1 USB type C cable which is 2m long.
Well, charging speed actually takes into concideration several things: ROM is the first and main thing, outside temperature and CPU temperature as well as thermal drivers matter really much.
If on EUI, the best thing you can get actually with stock rom is QC2.0 speed (Small EUI has enabled QC3.0 but thermal drivers lower than moderate will not absolutely ever charge the phone over 10W due to heating).
If on Nougat ROMs then the first thing to look at is whether the kernel limits charging speed (Blackscreen and Omni kernel most widely used on these roms use QC3.0 and will charge the phone at 18W up until the CPU thermals detect too high temperature).
TL, DR: Check your ROM and thermal driver settings. (Also charge in a cold spot rather than hot).

There is no different between charging speed of QC3 and QC2. QC2 definitely can go beyond 10W

Did you try with other chargers? Like Samsung's or any other.. If its the same with others, then you should visit a nearby SC and get it fixed since it's under warranty.
So i am running ressurection remix 5.7.4 rom on my Nitro A310..A few weeks back the devce unexpectedly started shutting down. i switched many adapters as well as usb cables during this period and to my surprise with each different cable or adapter it would boot up to a unique percentage. And soon after it wont boot without a 2A rated charger with a "data transfer" cable plugged in.. since then i am not able to use my phone without the charger plugged in for long..it shuts down at 70-80%.
I am not sure if it is a hardware issue or a software issue.
i tried re calibrating the battery quite a few times nd it won't help.
Please HELP!!
:crying: :crying:
I am facing slow charging issues with QC 3.0 even after flashing Kernel (Radon Rebuild 6.3). I selected 2400 ma quick but even after that I get like 300~400 ma even lower then my stock which gives like 500~600 ma the thing I have noticed that when I plug my QC charger I get around 2000~1500 ma (voltage 4.0+) for like a min then it eventually falls to 300 with voltage around 3.6 v and never spikes up again
Should I replace my charging board or just my device is getting old?
Rom : Havoc
Device : Kenzo 3/32
Kernel : Radon Rebuild
It can be a problem related to overheat of charging ic. It happens to me when i use stock charger. At 5v 2ah, phone heats up to 45 celsius degrees. If i use fast charger, at 9.1v and 1.6 ah the phone is cooler and keeps charging at fast speed almost all the time. Depends on ehat temperature i have in room or where i place the phone during charging.

But for me the temp.. Never rises up it just maintains 35~37 c
Ok. Your problems seems to be with thermal libs. When you flash radon kernel choose "OLD THERMAL LIBS" in installation screen. If problem remain same then try Latest Agni kernel (which has updated thermal libs) and see problem is still there.
And BTW, Just giving you one suggestion. Never use QC 3.0, It will burn your USB Board specially zener diode. That will end up yo to replace whole USB Board and if you are lucky then you might find perfect replacement from market otherwise there are so many cheap parts available that has poor performance.
P.S- I have burnt my board by using QC 2.0 charger and now new USB board giving me network issues (no network or very less internet speed now). And here you are using QC 3.0 that is more dangerous. Use latest Agni, devs added security against QC chargers and it use max 2100-2200 ma current. (Believe me this is sufficient to quick charge your device)

If you ever get short-circuit, The first thing will be your device will stop charging. Also signs of short-circuit are connecting and disconnecting your device frequently, Whatever kernel or charger you use it always charge at very low speed. (these what I felt before my diode completely died)

Dont use QC 3.0 . kenzo has some board issues. Qc2 or Qc3 is backward compatible but incase of kenzo Board is not completely safe to regulate safe current.
If u use qc2 or Qc 3 . it will draw too high current and burn the zener diode and stop the charging.
If ur device is not charging or taking low current then that means zener diode is already burnt. So remove the diode and use only stock charger. And dont use 2400 amp option in custom kernels.
My device stopped charging when i used qc3. I removed both the diode. but now its charging very slow.(around 150-200 amps), then it goes to 0 and does not charge. but it charges slowly upto 30% or so when the mobile is switched off. The discharge rate is normal as before. I tried using agni kernel and toggled the options between old kernel and new kernel libs and also the charging levels. can anyone suggest me about how to solve to solve this problem.

Why u removed both?
Only charging board diode needed to remove. After that dont use Qc3 to further harm mainboard diode.
But May be u kept on charging with QC3 even after both diode removed and damaged mainboard charging parts.
Try with many diffrent 2A usb cable. Stick with stock kernel. If still not charging then change pcb board.
I am posting here for first time. This issue was present when I got this device then one day I flashed ancient os rom and elinder kernel . Surprisingly my device started charging fast full in about 2 hours. After that I changed the rom to colt os 6.0 without elinder kernel. Same full charge in 2 hours . After few random reboots and about a weeks usage I decide to install evolution X for which I took the usb out of the charger and put it in my laptop to transfer the file. After flashing I put it back in the charger and checked charging current it was around 300-400ma about 4% charge in 10 mins. I restored my backup but no avail. Then I flashed havoc os 3.5 I get 4%/10 mins but after I install ancient os I get around 32%/ hour . If please anyone would help me it would mean a lot thanks . And I really hate 4 hours charging time.
I'm aslo stucked:highfive:
Try charging with original charger and USB cable, if you are already charging with original one try with different USB and charger.
See if there is any lint or dust in charging port or USB cable that may also slow downs the charging.
Try flashing elinder kernel again.
Clean flash again (do backup everything)
And lastly it might be related to battery since device is already 4 years old(not sure about your device's age). lithium ion battery does degrade over time so that might be causing slow charging.
sometime i do also get slow charging but thats related to USB cable in my case, i need to adjust USB in specific direction to charge fast. but weird thing is i use same USB and charger in other devices and it charges with good speed without any USB adjustments.
Fix
If any one is wondering if i fixed the issue yes i did seems that if i use a 9v 1.5a charger the phone charges to 90% in 1 hour 40 min on ancient os 3.5. using any other charger delivers only about 800ma and my phone charges in 3 hours. I have also tried samsung a71 28 watt charger but the phones does not charge even 1% in 5 minutes using that charger.

Kenzo is strictly made for 5V 2A charging. If u keep on using high volt charger then u will blow diode on charging board and will stop charging.
