I have MIUI v5 installed on Tipo. Apps like Sidebar, NinjaSMS, JuiceDefender do not work, start. Ninja sms app starts, but sms does not produce popup. Sidebar when opened via configuration menu, works, but as soon as I exit the configuration, it ends as well. Same for juice defender. It simple does not work. Other applications work very well...
I suspect something to do with the permission manager or setting.
same problem
i have the same problem running miui on my note 2 ... it is really a nice rom but i can not use ninja sms or floating notifications on it did u figure it out? i have disabled all the permissions but no luck
No luck on that front
I've given up on MIUI, I could not find any way to make it work. However, last I checked, some form of Xposed could be run in the ROM. Maybe you should try that.
I searched XDA, Google and the official site of LeEco. I have found similar problems with push notification(Whatsapp, Email.) But no direct solution for the leEco max 2.
I've tried different roms, chinese and india, because of the EUI layout that i like.
I tried all the settings that are mentioned: Priority notification on, no battery saving, no clearing of tasks, installing Push notification fixer, reinstalled from scratch, and now on stock indian 5.8.19S.
But still no push notification when the phone is in sleep mode. After 30 minutes no use. Only after manualy activation of the phone.:crying:
Has anybody a solution for the EUI Rom? Or is the only option to try CM on the phone?
I appreciate all the help. Big Thanx in advance.:fingers-crossed:
In addition to what you have mentioned, you should put these apps in auto launch mode+app protection from phone manager.
Make sure that you have also enabled auto-sync data from account management.
Whatsapp and messenger notifications are working fine with these settings on indian rom 19s. However, I faced problems with Gmail notifications in other customs roms.
Autolaunch and app protection usually solves it

Settings plus, did it for me.
The Enable background resource control in the hidden menu.........I switched it off............no problem anymore for me with notifications. Whatsapp, Gmail, etc..... @sdevaux Thanx for the useful tip. @lukam01 and @anameeeen for helping out
This looks like a global sync issue that I've been trying to solve for almost a month now. Coming from the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, I've been experiencing the same exact auto sync problems on both the Note Pro, and the Le Max 2. Gmail and Yahoo mail (or any other email client that I've tried) won't sync and give notifications unless I open the apps manually and refresh. I tried pretty much everything I could find on the internet to no success. Whatsapp works most of the time, but every once in a while it start's doing the same.
Power management is off, the apps involved have all the required permissions, they're set to auto launch, global sync is enabled (tried turning it off and on again to no effect), and of course, sync is also enabled in each individual app. Background resource control is off (hidden menu).
I have removed my accounts from both devices countless times, cleared the cache, data, uninstalled/reinstalled the apps, re-added the accounts individually...
I don't know what's going on, but I'm talking about 2 different devices and 2-3 different roms on both (the devices were set up as new every single time, not restored with Ti Backup), so I'm pretty sure it's a global issue.
Same issues here. In addition, some apps just plain don't work if the phone is asleep. I prefer using Google Clock for my alarms, and textra for my text messages. However, if the phone is asleep, the alarm will NEVER sound and I will NOT get text messages. I'm not just talking about not getting notifications for text messages, I'm talking that if someone sends me a text message I will not EVER get it. They only way to fix is to use the STOCK clock and text apps. Crazy.

I'm very curious, did you try the hidden settings and deactivate the background Resource control?
See post 4.

Yes, but this did NOT help fix the Google Clock app. I have read other threads with people having the same issue with some google apps. The theory seems to be that perhaps the way gapps is added by LeEco into their roms breaks something having to do with notification system.
Maybe try an indian base rom, like Revolution 19s. Inadian roms have google apps natively installed

But I believe the Indian Roms also encrypt your phone by default, CN roms don't. Don't want any encryption slowing down my phone.
Stock Indian roms encrypt data, but in revolution version the encrypition is removed by rom developer

I have the same problem, I try all roms, the only rom that works and enable notifications even in sleep mode it is cuoco92 5.8.015S
It's a big problem for Leeco, notification doesn't work correctly
It's a Rom issue. Works perfect for me with Mokee
can you guys confirm that in mokee and cuoco all notifications work well. i tried everything from forums and this thread, whatsapp is fixed, but i simply cant force gmail notifications to come properly. huge disappointment in this phone because of it. so i just want this to work with stable custom rom and that camera works as in stock rom...any recommendations?thanks
anyone,please?
Use lucky patcher and move your Gmail/inbox to system app. Works for me.
I have same issue after a while notifications stop to work, resetting Google play services helps but issue occurs after few hours again. Trying to install different versions to see if it helps. For now also stopped Android Wear...
Using cuoco92 Rom S20v65
Make apps can launch automatically, work for me

Same here. I'm on tiny eui which is hard on 20s and I have done all the power and app settings. Every app works and I get notifications but alarms through alarm clock extreme will not go off when the phone is in deep sleep. I cannot figure it out.
Good day,
I am trying to setup Work Profiles on my BV6000s running android 7 without any luck.
Here's what happens, If I download and install the Test DPC app on the playstore, run it and deploy a Work Profile it's in the process to finish and I get the default Blackview startup popup "To close the rubbers before I expose it to water"etc etc.... Then when I exit this screen Nothing further happens.
I notice when I go to Settings apps - the apps have duplicated for work profile but its not on the launcher so I cant access the work profile apps.
Tried different launchers, No luck.
Did the exact same process on the BV6000 (not the BV6000s as above) and it works perfect.
Now my question is what is the best way to track/Troubleshoot what went wrong? Maybe some permissions or something.
I tried different ROM's, ROOTED device etc but still no luck so far.
Where do I go and search?
Help will me much appreciated.
Many thanks
Hi, I have a Pixel 2 XL(64GB) which I recently rooted by installing Magisk and TWRP on it. It is running otherwise stock firmware, PQ2A.190205.002. Since rooting, a couple of apps, including Facebook, Calendar. and low battery notification have been unable to play their custom notification sounds. They only play the system default notification sound. Other apps, like Inbox, Hangounts, and Facebook Messenger have been able to play the notification sounds I set for them without issue. Facebook and battery notification don't let you set custom sounds, but at least for battery, the file is there in `/system/media/audio/ui/LowBattery.ogg`, I am able to play it, and it sounds like it should. I do not know where the notification sounds are for Facebook and Calendar. I tried setting another sound as the notification sound for Calendar, and that seemed to work, but I'd like to set it to the normal Calendar sound, which I can't find. Can anyone help me?

What, do notification sounds not work properly on rooted devices or something? I thought rooting was supposed to increase my capabilities.

So is there a fix to it or just "*shrug* stuff stops working on rooted phones"?

You could wipe and rebuild

If anyone else is having this problem and would like a non-sarcastic answer, I was able to fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling the Facebook app, and by disabling, enabling, and reinstalling updates for the Calendar app. I think this had something to do with the apps being installed as part of restoring my previous backup, or that I had to reboot a few times while all my previous apps we're being installed, and maybe they didn't all install correctly. Could also have been a permissions issue. I had done a fix contexts with TWRP before reinstalling the app. Still not sure what app controls low battery notifications, or if I can do something similar there.
Hi all,
I am running beta LE2101_11.C.21_1210_202206110232 on my 9r.
I had installed the realme launcher since the app drawer would be back to 5 columns, that worked great, but the thing is, after I installed the oneplus/realme setting 13.0.1 from the official telegram and all the latest ones after that, I am unable to access my settings in any way, opening the settings just crashes and there's nothing I can do, even i can't change the ring/notification tone, nothing is accessible now, even I had installed the wireless settings update and now the wifi and Bluetooth is also crashing and do not open.
Please give me a solution, I am very much frustrated after the merger of oxygen and color os.

You can use some external apps and remove updates. Easy as 2x2.
