Hello guys,

* when i call somebody and move the phone away from my ear it don't wake up (display)
* (this problem i had with stock rom and no updates) when i have bluetooth disabled (my phone is already paired with my car) and i start my car normally it should connect automatically after i active BT manually on my phone but now i have to turn off and on it again and then it get connected....if i don't turn BT off and start my car it get normally connected quickly
* the quick button for snapshots don't work anymore, when i push the button for a snapshot it don't make anything
I've stock rom nougat installed, phone rooted with twrp + supersu + xposed installer + gravitybox.
I only rooted my phone to get a widget for switching networks between 2G and 3G/LTE.
Suggestions?

Sync issue after KG5 update

Hi,
I purchased my phone some 1 week back. And was very unhappy with the battery drain issue of XWKF3 2.3.3 stock ROM. I recently read about updating ROM via Odgin and that it doesn't void the warranty since there was no update for India, I downloaded and updated my phone with ease to the KG5 stock ROM. The tutorial i read asked me to factory reset my phone to remove the cache from previous install and restart the phone in recovery mode. Did all that and lost all data on my phone most of which was available after my upgrade. The software update was fine. I had taken a backup of my complete phone via KIES (some 4 GB) left it overnight to restore (since it was taking million years to do so). As brilliant as KIES is i was not able to recover any data tried 1-2 days with only specific things (contacts settings etc) din work. Since i was doin this all sorts of pop ups for application installation failure came and i also did not sync my google account via the mobile data. As i wanted to restore backup and do a minimum possible recovery. So today morning i connected my phone to my home wifi (my company's wifi is AD based and has exchange 2010 so even KF3 din work with it. banged my head tried numerous things none works). Anyways previously(KF3) it was working fine but now i'm only able to access Android Market my explorer does'nt work neither does my apps and syncing (Facebook, Twitter, Gmail). I am highly frustrated. I've checked the wifi settings a million time everything seems to be in order. But nothing works . What am i doin wrong ? is it the firmware (web says it's supposed to be "STABLE") ? any help will be highly appreciated.
Hey guys,
I have resolved the problem. Well there was actually no problem at all. I just switched off my phone took out the battery and my data config started working again. Also some how when i loaded the new firmware i cancelled google sync when it was running the first time. Thus when i went to the sync settings it was disabled so i enabled it and synced everything.
Cheers

[Q] Samsung Galaxy SIII (GT-I9300) International Crashing And Rebooting

Hi, I'm having a curious problem with my S3 and I've been unable to solve it. I watched the "noob" video and tried searching these forums as well as a google search with various combinations of the wording for my problem. Nothing matching my issue turned up, I hope I didn't miss anything.
I recently bought a S3 second hand (yes, i know, i should have known better). It was rooted and running some kind of custom ROM when I first turned it on, but I was willing to deal with it until I double checked the procedure for getting it back to stock and starting again myself (nothing against the original rooting and flashing, just like to know exactly what I'm running).
When I purchased the phone I obviously checked that all of the main things worked - calling, texts, mobile data, wi-fi etc. I get home and connect to my home wi-fi and start checking things out and setting stuff up. The phone randomly rebooted. I carry on after the reboot and about 10 mins later, another restart.
To cut a long story short, there is something wrong with the wi-fi. If I turn off wi-fi in the settings menu and reboot, everything works great. No crashes, no reboots. If however I enable the wi-fi about 50% of the time it will crash while wi-fi is activating. The other 50% of the time, it will crash as it goes into the screen lock (either via timeout or pressing the button).
I've re-flashed to it's stock version of Android (using the 'Samsung GS3 Toolkit and Odin), same problem. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance
You can try updating the modem and RIL to the right version for your country, search in general forum. If it still reboots then try with another wifi source - I've seen some routers cause problems on client machines.
If you do a factory reset when you flash the modem, plus you have the latest stock ROM on board, then any remaining problems are probably hardware.
Test it fully after the factory reset, before you add any apps etc.

After much experimentation and flashing of various files to my phone I have further narrowed the problem. I've still not solved it, but getting closer I feel.
After a clean ROM flash it works like a charm regardless of how much i use the wifi etc. It's only after the first reboot that the trouble starts. It will begin randomly restarting. If I perform a factory reset from recovery mode, it works again, but starts resetting again after a reboot.
Any ideas?

[Q] Stuck with my XPERIA (Please Read)

Hi!
I own a XPERIA L / C2105. I've upgraded to 4.2.2 OTA and rooted my phone. I immediately started to uninstall software that came pre-installed with the phone that I knew I never going to use it. I also uninstalled some system apps which I don't remember, but I was sure they were safe to uninstall (walkman, default album app, themes, live wallpapers, etc.)
The phone was performing fine, and all the functions were working properly. In recent time, I've noticed sluggish performance, hold ups and black screens. Restarts were not improving the performance, so I've decided it's time to do a factory reset. After the factory reset, the phone restarted, and all my apps backed with from my google account. But after using the phone that day, I found out that several things were not working.
- Notifications were not showing up in the notifications bar (although the button clear appeared).
- The camera was not working (initalization with the default app couldn't be made, but 3rd party camera apps worked, such as instagram or vsco).
- Incoming calls were not possible (they appeared in the call list as accepted (not missed) calls. When I try to call my phone it always rejects the call).
Maybe there's some other bugs, but for now these are the most important.
Since I've rooted and installed custom ROMS on my previous phones, I'm generally familiar with the process on how to restore the stock rom on my phone, but there's a problem. This phone doesn't allow to unlock the Bootloader! The bootloader is locked, so there's no way I can install a stock rom to fix the non-working issues.
Is there some other way to restore the functionality of the phone?
Thanks
caregan but
I've just found out that I can restore a stock rom without having to unlock the bootloader, using flashtool. Delete this thread, problem solved!

Galaxy S5 SM-G900V Samsung Account Lock: No WIFI to Choose at the Wizard WIFI Screen

I bought this phone which was freezing up. I thought that a firmware upgrade would do the trick. However, there was a Samsung Account of the phone and I was not aware of. The phone goes to the first set up screen, asks me to connect to WIFI but there is not WIFI providers to choose from. I click in the refresh WIFI list and the phone asks me to turn on WIFI. However, I do not have access to the WIFI on/off switch due to Samsung account lock. After a couple minutes the phone would again freeze up. Sometimes it restarts or it would simply stay in a black screen. I have to remove the battery and start the process all over. I have tried re-flashing via ODIN . I update the phone via Verizon Software Assistance to the latest firmware Marshmallow G900VVRU2DPF4. But I downgraded to G900VVRU2BOE1 Lollipop 5.0 firmware now. I also tried removing the account by flashing the modem.bin file but I get stock in the same spot. Guys, please help!

Android App for making calls over Wi-Fi/Bluetooth from one to another Android

Hello guys!
For some days I'm working on a new project: Tab 4 T535 10.1 Android Navigation System for Smart ForTwo 450. I have the stock room, SuperSu installed via twrp. I try some custom roms like: CrDroid (Stuck at bootloader animation), LineageOS(unexpected restart). The tablet will be mount on central console from car, without battery, connected to step down 12v to 5v3amps.
My tab has lte but I don't want to put a Sim on it because will stay on car etc. Everytime I will enter on Car I will activate hotspot and tablet will conect to my hotspot. Here I have a problem. Instead of using a headset I want to use car system for that I need to connect my A6 to my tab. Making calls from tab, see the notification from phone etc. No root for the phone.
How can this be done?
Thanks
