Hi everyone:
Here is my situation.
I have a mate 10 6+128G. Device information:
Version: EMUI: 8.0.8
Firmware: ALP-AL00 8.8.8.129 (SP2C00)
Bootloader was unlock, I also root my phone, install TWRP, Magisk ... I also install Google Play, Google Service ..
Everything seems fine until I try to use Google Pay.
I got stuck when trying to register VISA credit card in Google Pay, MasterCard is fine.
I did a lot of search on China Huawei forums, and found China version of firmware got issues when register VISA credit card.
I have consulted my friends who have Mate 10, and they said they don't have such problem.
In my country, Mate 10 firmware version is ALP-L29C636, so I would like to rebrand my Mate 10 to this firmware.
But I still have some doubts regarding rebrand.
1. OEMINFO:
Should I replace my OEMINFO before rebranding ? From some post, seems it's necessary to replace OEMINFO with L29C636 version.
If I replace OEMINFO, will I lost my IMEI ?
2. After rebranding, Bootloader will be locked again. So I should use the same unlock code to unlock my Bootloader ?
3. After rebranding, I still want to root my phone. Can I follow the same method to root my phone after flashing new version of firmware ?
Thanks.

Talk to this guy: https://ministryofsolutions.com/
Its better and safer to spend some small $ and allow someone who is familiar with rebranding to do the job instead of risking and ends up in a brick. He did a rebrand on my Mate 10 from ALP-L09(C109) to ALP-L09(C432) and I can say it it's not so easy (in my opinion) so my recommendation is to contact him.
As those affected know, C567 (US version) of MediaPad M5 is stuck at EMUI 8.0.
I managed to unlock the bootloader using the test point method (need to carefully open the device and use PotatoNV program).
However, after experimenting with a couple of Treble ROMS (pphusson's AOSP 11, for example), I decided EMUI was less buggy for me. However, I'd like to be able to upgrade to EMUI 9.1, for which I'd like to rebrand to C432 (Europe version). I understand it's possible to rebrand by changing the cust and oeminfo partitions.
QUESTION: does anyone have a method for modifying these files or can upload them if they have a C432? I understand there are some paid online services that may do rebranding, but would rather leverage the XDA hive!
BONUS QUESTION: if anyone has had a very good experience with some other ROM, would be glad to hear it.
Cheers and thanks in advance for any help or advice!
I've got a magisk rooted CMR-W09 C432 running 9.1.0.160. Maybe I can help you somehow...
But please care: I might have tempered something: I'm currently trying to upgrade to 9.1.0.371 but the updater fails consecutively: Maybe I've borked something e.g. in the bootloader or elsewhere...
