Does anyone know how to bypass the frp? I just bought a v30 but it won't let me sign in. We tried the original owners info but after we go through the code, email and password it just keeps taking me back to the first page. Can anyone help me out with this issue or will I have to ship it back to the original owner to sort out?
After this screen, it just takes me back to the original screen where it asks to enter the last email used to sync the device ... weird, any advice?

the owner is going to have to dig through their google settings and remove that phone from their account.
hopefully this wasn't from a reseller. you may be blorked if that's the case.

Just curious if anyone knows of any method/software to get past the lock screen on an LG G5 (Rogers is the carrier in Canada). My little brother recently passed away (he was 29....) and we are wanting to get any pictures we can and make sure we take care of his estate/accounts. I have found the "Dr. Fone" software by wondershare but it looks super sketchy and i've yet to find any confirmed cases of anyone using it successfully to remove the lock screen on a device. It is completely stock and is still on Marshmallow (the Nougat update is pending). If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated

So sorry to hear a bout your lose. I know the pain, brother died 8 months ago And sister few years back. Rip to your brother and my siblings.
But back to your question. Did you try taken out sd card? Most stock and 3rd party cam apps go to pictures on sd. I am sure you google already. As you can see there isn't many options for lockscreen bypass.
Later on today I will test that program out for you and report results.
Bump help this guy out people. Maybe someone knows more?
Question could he call google and supply proof of relationship and death of owner. Then google would provide password? Doubt it, just curious.

Was wondering if anyone using the Chinese version on the phone managed to create an account on the ZTE market APP?
this is required in order to access the Dynamic lock screen wallpapers (for example).
The issue here is that it asks you to type your phone number in order to send back an SMS with the Verification code,
but every combination that i tried (i.e. with an international prefix, + before the number, The number iteself...) is rejected.
Thanks,
Good question. Would like to know if there is a way as well?
You might try this:
00 + 1 + City Area Code + Phone Number
That is the way I used to have to call back to the states when I lived in China if memeory serves.

do you know what 'bumping' is, on a forum?
I 've contact Zte for this, they ask a ton of stuff, like IMEI, model purchase date, I even attached picture with the sticker in the box, so they will sent me(hopefully)an answer.,a link probably.I took the chance to complain about it. I suggested to ask an email. Do you want an update with what happened?

Well, after months of exhaustive searching and trawling the deep dark corners of the internet, i can finally say: THERE IS NO FRICKING FIRMWARE FOR THIS PHONE!
Ok, venting done. The AT&T variant really does seem to not have any firmware available anywhere. I would like to throw this little request out there. If anyone has a line on the firmware, please please please share. It would save crap-ton of us with borked or messed up phones out there.
Thanks!
AT&T Has not released the firmware and probably won't for another year or so they are very stingy with firmware because they don't make money on repairs if someone can just fix their problem with flashing the firmware themselves

And for this very reason AT&T are A55#0L35... We probably won't get Nougat until the G6 is here or worse - we'll just be left out cold altogether like they did us with the Optimus G (didn't get KitKat, everyone else did).
Perhaps soon we should leave AT&T out of our wallets.
I thought legally they had to make it available

Ah don't worry. Already tried it. Don't. Your phone will be stuck in download mode. I have and that's the state i ended up in. Does not really matter since the phone is already borked.
AT&T can go suck on a hairy donkey knee. What sort of stupidity leads to decisions like these??? After the debacle that was my V10 from at&t, i am never buying another phone that came from them... Excepting the Nexus phones. No point whatsover

So basically, I'm stumped on this device...
My granny sent my little sister home today with a "surprise" as an early birthday present and guess what it was? This crazy thing. I've never seen a tablet before that had to have an activation code... Sure, I understand the great intentions of it. But it has really put me in a bind considering my granny didn't keep up with the receipt and now the tablet isn't registering for activation... Not to mention, the consistent persuasion from my lil sis to get her present working. So here I am.
I waited on hold with Nextbook's wonderful "tech support" for almost an hour to speak with someone who told me there was another "customer service" concerning activation... there isn't.
Moving on from rant to legitimate concern:
I've done some research online and basically what I've gathered is this thing will not work unless it has the code that isn't registering so the next option is to root. But, where the tablet won't come on to enable developer's options and it doesn't have an SD card with it, is there a way I can still root it to get it to operate using a computer? Thanks! :fingers-crossed:
I work for a company called 6ya and I've had 2 people call in with the same issue. The message they tell me they are seeing is 'operation activation code'. Seems the common factor from doing some Googling is a stolen device purchased from eBay.
UPDATE: I just spoke with a tech rep at Nextbook and they stated the activation code is printed on the receipt when the tablet is purchased from a store. If the device was purchased online via eBay or any website that sells used products, the customer would need to contact the seller for that code. Without the code, there is no way of activating the device.
i wonder if the code 456321 used for demo mode might actually work for this case too, i saw a post saying that this operation code seems to be a 6digit code so maybe the code used to place the device into demo mode might work (why release a tab with the option of erasing all data with a 6digit code that is so easy)
my ares 8a hasnt asked for this code after 2 factory resets, and nextbook has serious blockage on rooting their devices now, i guess they got tired of people rooting their devices to swap os, internal storage>ram swaps and many other things

I work for 6ya as well as well and tonight was my third question about the code.
With out the original owners code it's ascot impossible to deal with this issue.

i have a nextbook ares 8a NX16A8116k, it wont boot in to recovery mode and keeps going to boot manager screen. the bootloader is disabled and secure boot is disabled, lock state is unlocked and the only screen it will let me in is fastboot. im trying to factory rest it or find a way boot it into recovery mode.
If anyone is interested, I've figured out how to get the activation code. I'm unlocking them for free right now as long as I can use you as a reference in the future. Email me at [email protected]
You need an OTG cable, a keyboard, a data cable, and the ADB software on your computer.
Turn the Nextbook on and let it boot to the PIN screen and plug in the keyboard. Start hitting ESC over and over and you'll notice the pulldown menu popping up. Grab it during the lag between the screen popping in and out. Hit the gear icon and enter settings. Go to About Phone and turn on developer options by tapping Build Number 7 times.
Go into dev options, turn on USB debugging and plug the tablet into your computer.
Go into adb and type adb shell to access Android's Linux command line.
Then enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.yfdisa
Boom. DiSa's crappy PoSA is uninstalled and the PIN activation page is gone.

Oh, wow. I just received one of these today and found an even easier work around based upon your post. Thank you for the commands.
The easiest way I found was to:
Boot the device to the pin screen.
Press and hold the power button until the power off options come up
At the bottom of the screen you will see the home menu buttons
Click and hold the home (middle) button for 3 seconds then slide up to access Google Search
After this you will be on a Google page and able to slide down the task draw up top to access your settings
Enable ADB Debugging and plug the tablet into your PC
Open ADB on your PC
Issue the following commands in order:
'adb shell'
'adb uninstall 0 com.android.yfdisa'
Super simple and no OTG required!! Goodbye DiSa, hello my eBay tablet!!! :victory:

i tried this and not work for me. there is any method to delete this package from twrp??
I've looked at nearly every website.
I've looked at nearly every video.
Nothing seems to work. With the latest Security Patch (January 2017), I cannot install Apps from Unknown Locations (The option is greyed out during the Setup Wizard) and any of the other ideas simply don't work either. Google has pretty much locked down any attempt now to bypass FRP.
I know there are others here who have done it. What I'm asking is if they have any other ideas, save for turning the phone into a doorstop. I don't have the option to take it to T-Mobile, since this phone was recovered from a student's locker and was never claimed. I need to wipe it clean, but the FRP is preventing any further action.
Hold on, I'll message you.

So anyways, I have not got past FRP so I figure Lollipop wasn't to bad. lol
