Honor View10 does not have HDR/HDR+ feature in it's camera.
ViVO has also added super hdr based on AI.
As our V10 is the first AI based phone with dedicated NPU, it can actually excel in any such new features. By smart detection and automatic super HDR mode, we can capture excellent shots with the help of AI. Hope Honor gets more of these features added to call it as a true AI phone.
This Super HDR captures up to 12 frames a lot more than compared with existing HDR technology, then the images are merged to create the final perfect photo. This new technology will ensure the person face is clear and well lit, no matter what the lighting condition is.

This feature can only be implemented well if the device as OIS, otherwise most of the images will not be that sharp!

HDR comes to Android! Introducing Pro HDR Camera, the world's first real HDR app for Android! From the team that created Pro HDR for iOS, now you can automatically create stunning full-resolution HDR images with just a single tap on your Android phone. Please note that this app has been tested to work properly on Motorola, HTC and most Samsung phones. However, if you have a LG, Sony, or other device, the HDR capability may not function properly. Full functionality has been verified on the following phones: * HTC: Thunderbolt, EVO 4G, MyTouch 4G, G2, Incredible, Desire, Legend, Bravo * Motorola: Droid, Droid 2, Droid X * Samsung: Galaxy S, Epic 4G We've just released Pro HDR Camera for Android, but here are a few professional reviews of our iPhone version: "If you ever take photos using your iPhone, this app is a must-have." - Gizmodo "Pro HDR leaps ahead of the pack... Even if you're not into HDR photography, this is one to check out." - TUAW "Picture Perfection: Pro HDR automatically aligns and blends the images, giving you a perfectly exposed, amazing image that rivals a high-end point-and-shoot camera" - NBC Los Angeles Thanks to Pro HDR Camera, you no longer have to choose between a blown-out sky or a hopelessly dark foreground. Bringing automatic high dynamic range photography to your Android phone for the first time ever, Pro HDR captures an image exposed for the highlights and another exposed for the shadows. It then aligns and merges the images, giving you a gorgeous HDR image up to 8 megapixels like nothing you've ever seen from such a tiny device. Unlike fake HDR apps that merely take a single photo and reprocess it (without actually adding any new detail), Pro HDR massively extends the dynamic range of your camera and produces beautiful results that you have to see to believe. We provide a fully automatic mode, and an assisted Manual mode for those times when you wish to choose your exact exposures. Finally, you can take stunning high-resolution photos of all those scenes that are just too contrasty to capture in a single picture. Not only will seasoned photographers instantly fall in love with Pro HDR, one look at our example images should convince anyone that Pro HDR represents a new era in mobile photography. Check out our gallery here: http://www.eyeappsllc.com/Gallery.html Pro HDR Camera for Android comes with these incredibly useful features: • Automatic in-app HDR capture, where all you have to do is tap to capture • Manual in-app photo capture, where you get to choose the exposure of each image in your HDR • Proprietary image alignment algorithm that precisely aligns full-size images in seconds • Sophisticated image blending creates one beautiful output image nearly instantly • Live-updating image adjustment sliders to perfect your HDR: choose the perfect brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth, and tint, or let Pro HDR automatically select the best settings • Fullscreen image preview in portrait and landscape orientation • Save HDR images at the full resolution of your camera, up to 8 megapixels • Seamless background processing that renders your HDRs while you keep on shooting • Built-in HDR gallery view to peruse, share, and re-edit your HDRs • Share your HDRs with the world with e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, and more IMPORTANT: Pro HDR Camera requires Android 2.2 (Froyo) or later. Pro HDR Camera works on Motorola, HTC and Samsung devices. Unfortunately, the exposure functions on LG phones and the Nexus S seem to be broken, so HDR functionality will likely not work (though the rest of the features will). The Nexus S doesn't truly adjust the exposure, but seems to darken or brighten the image in software as a post-processing step, which does not allow for true HDR photos. LG phones don't allow setting the exposure at all.
i assume you've tested it on x8, right? does it work, or you just uploaded it to raise your thanks level by ppl who click thanks button before checking compatibility?
I test it... how you can see in the screenshots.. Most of the app that i am posting here are testet..
I test it.
The screen says: Hold Still! Scanning: 0.0
And it keep taking picture..
Yes.. i notice that... i don t know why.. but it s making the pictures...
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
i've tested it on my se xperia x8 another version from PDA and app said when i opened it that "your phone cannot take hdr pictures, because it lacks exposure controls"
I can not install this app, an error message appears, I don't know why, someone can help me?

Hi so recently I have been getting into the google camera development, I wish to learn how can I develop my own custom GCam MOD? And in addition is it based of a Google Camera model. Finally I want to learn how I can use previous dev's work like @cstark27 and modify it to make it more modern, add a UI change or new AI algorithms. Can you guys assist me? I really would like to make some GCam models that produce higher quality HDR+ photos and better lens blur photos.
9.1.0.153

This update improves system security with Google security patches.
Integrates Google security patches released in April 2019 for improved system security.
For more information on the security of Huawei EMUI system updates, please visit the official Huawei website: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/bulletin/2019/4/.
Adds Dual-view mode to Camera, allowing you to view the panoramic and close-up video images while recording.
Adds Charming portrait mode to Camera, allowing you to take portrait photos with more appealing blurring effects.
Automatically generates highlight reels, applies effects templates, and creates MVs.
I hope they will add suoer eide angle Panaromic mod and action TOF sensor.
Nokia 9 looks so grate when you make bokeh effect, i hope the P30 Pro will be the same after activation of TOF.
The stock camera app of Nord 2 is ****. It over processes the images and the photos don't look like they are taken from a 50MP camera.
Any suggestions on what to do or some good GCam you can suggest?
Some examples? High mp sensors suffer in low light and have a more shallow depth of field especially up close to subjects. An accurate AF lock is important because of the narrow DOF; example, always try to get a AF lock on the subject's closest eye when shooting a face.
Adjust your shooting style according to the camera's strengths and weaknesses. See as the camera sees not as your eyes see. Human vision has exponentially more processing power and an incredible imaging system more so than any camera.
I want a proper gcam version if available or any better alternative that stock.
Always disable HDR option and pictures will look a lot better (sadly the app doesn't remember this setting so you have to turn it off each time) . The HDR process in the Nord 2 is absolutely awful .
Download the first file in this link. Photos taken with the primary camera will be much better, though I don't think Night Sight works. https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-wichaya/f/dl5/
DISABLE HDR. It's a known issue.
But you can't disable HDR when taking photos directly in other apps (whatsapp, telegram, etc)? I had OP8T and it had same issue and I had returned it...
GCam won't give you 50MP. AFAIK the only way to get 50MP on stock Nord 2 is by using the Extra HD feature in the stock camera app.
I'm curious to know if people with rooted devices have this capability enabled in the API. Let us know please

I don't think HDR and other processing options are enabled for 3rd party apps (same goes for the ultrawide lens, you can't use it in other apps) for me whatsapp and telegram pictures look good (but they are heavily compressed)

50Mpx is available in some GCAm versions (Wichaya and Nikita if I remember correctly, BSG and Greatness don't have the full resolution option) , but the 50mpx full resolution of the sensor is totally useless (not only with the nord 2 , but generaly with all other phones) , 12mpx pixel bining gives you better image processing, less noise , etc... a quick look at the reviews explain very clearly why is not a good idea to use the full resolution (50, 108mpx etc...) of a phone sensor.
Personally I use the BSG 8.4 v10 version and pictures are great, Google HDR+ implementation give a lot better results than stock app

Was this on stock or rooted? Btw for me the 4:1 binning is not something desirable since I stack very low light photos, run my own denoising and various other process. Hence why I need the full sensor data made available to apps like OpenCamera

Yes, IM apps do compress photos but that's different story than colour fidelity. In my time with 8T the colours in photo app and telegram/whatsapp were simply blown out of proportion: something normal-red in real life was glowing like burning Mars in 8T photos. After disabling HDR in camera app the photos looked ok (though still overprocessed hence IMHO OP3 photos looked better!) but in whatsapp/telegram I still had same issue with stupid extreme colours...
It seems that when the stock camera is in pro mode it does not apply Auto HDR to the JPEG image, whether it is told to save the jpeg only or RAW+jpeg. Is that the intended behavior? I agree that the raw needs to be left alone but not applying Auto HDR to the jpeg is disappointing, to say the least, particularly since pro mode is the only place to tame the overly saturated color rendition of the stock camera app.
Unfortunately it's intended behavior.
You can try Good Lock Camera Assistant and disable Scene Optimizer to tame the contrast in default mode.

You already answered your question about missing HDR in Pro mode. HDR does over saturate the colors.
Samsung should be embarrassed about this camera. OP, did you find a way to reduce saturation without losing HDR?
I tried GCam but half of the functionality doesn't work on S23 at present and I want my camera to be easy/reliable.

I don't think that there is any.
You can go with camera mode, but the picture is overprocessed, and you cannot play with it much.
You can go with PRO mode, but you don't have HDR and therefore wide dynamic range.
You can go with ExpertRAW, but the processing of the pictures is somehow even worse than in the base camera app.
You can go with GCAM, but then you don't have access to greater resolution than 12 Mpix (as Samsung is not exposing API to 3rd party apps for 50Mpix and 200Mpix) and some of the features are not working that easily and video mode is limited (same reason as for 50/200 Mpix not available).

I agree. I use GCAM, but of course, it is not perfect. So many decisions in the camera department made by Samsung simply do not make sense to me...
The amazing thing is how bad the Fruit Cam has gotten too.
