Hi guys,
I'm using Phh's rom v9 in my Huawei Mate 10 Pro (BLA-L09).
Everythings was ok until I decided to proceed to a factory reset from the Android menu (Settings>System>Factory rest).
Now I'm stuck on the Android boot screen. I can see the "android" text with a fading effect, but it doesn't boot (the fading animation works).
When I wait 5 minutes, the device reboots to eRecovery screen, where I can only choose between "Download latest version and recovery", "Reboot", "Shutdown".
I can still go to fasboot mode and I can still boot on TWRP too (I'm using this version of TWRP).
I've tried to reflash the rom (Phh's treble version 9), but i've still the same problem.
When I try to flash another rom (for exemple LOS 15.1, from here, or Phh's treble version 12), I got another problem: bootloop.
When I try to do a facroty reset from TWRP, same problem: stuck in Android boot logo.
Do you know a trick to solve this problem?
Should I go bad to stock recovery to proceed to a factory reset?
Should I go back to stock Huawei rom?
Should I buy FunckyHuawei credit to use their unbrick tool?
Should I stop hacking my phone like I'm a pro?
Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your answere. How do I proceed to use stock recovery?
I guess I have to find the stock recovery file and flash it with this command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk stockfile.img
Am I right?

Yes, that's correct.
Here's stock recovery: https://mega.nz/#!RTAwwRaD!vX6CCS4jJ4RnARMz5_lAg_O5Wn_-X25qKVp3hhAc_AQ
(It's from C636B134 but shouldn't matter)
Ok thank you, I can now boot on the Phh Treble v9 rom, I'm no more stuck on Android bootscreen.
I've tried other roms again (Phh treble v12 and LOS), still doesn't works, I can only boo on Phh's rom v9.
But I guess it's part of another problem.
Thank you!

Weird.
Did you try flashing SYSTEM.img from LOS and then Factory Reset from Stock recovery?
Yes. Here are the steps I've followed:
Downloaded LOS rom
Plugged my phone on usb
fastboot flash system sysyem_LOS.img
fasboot reboot
The phone bootloops 4 or 5 times
Factory reset asked after bootloops -> accepted
After factory reset, the phone reboots to the screen with "Download latest version and recovery", "Reboot", "Shutdown".
Maybe am I doing something wrong?
Should I run Factory Reset manually before bootloops?

Yeah, go to recovery right after flashing and factory reset.
I've tried again with LOS and Treble v12, same problem. The only one booting well is still Treble v9.
Hi again guys,
I get stuck on the Android boot logo again. I was using AOSP Treble v9, and decided to go back to stock version as explained on this guide :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/guide-mate-10-flash-oreo-update-package-t3716814
It did not works, I get stuck on the Android boot logo.
I've tried to go back on AOSP Treble v9 by flashing the recovery_ramdisk to the original one and flashing the v9 AOSP Treble, but I still get stuck on the Android boot logo.
Any idea how to boot on any Android version?
Thanks.

Try these commands in bootloader:
Fastboot format userdata
Fastboot format cache
Note that the 1st command will wipe your SDcard.
Strange, my N9 just started doing the same thing. I wonder if it's a hardware problem (like some bad blocks in the flash memory). I've been running AICP without issues for the past 3 months.
I did notice that I can sometimes press the volume up button on the Google screen, and it will then continue on and boot normally.
(Actually, upon further inspection, it appears that just letting my N9 sit at the Google screen for a few minutes, will sometimes get it to boot).
When I have time, I'm gonna try re-flashing the factory image (LMY48I) and see if that helps.
---Update---
Yup, that fixed it. Fastboot flashed all the .img files, and now my N9 starts normally every time.
Gonna go back to a custom ROM when I get a chance. I'll report back if I see this behavior again.

Hi guys,
I was flashing the latest build of DU and my nexus 9 got stuck at google logo. Since then I tried everything possible i.e. factory reset, flashed the latest factory build, tried using the stock kernel along with the factory image, tried flashing paranoid android. Nothing worked. Can anybody help me fix my device? Should I consider it bricked?
So me trying to install a MM rom on my LP phone have caused me this error. Is there any guide out there that would help me fix this?
I have tried booting into TWRP using vol down + power but it just keeps leading to this error. I can't even get into download mode. I am guessing im SOL?

Whenever I do Factory reset all I get is the boot loop, also for download mode.
EDIT: FIXED! I am just an idiot at reading.
you can try to install nexus toolkit ( support LG adb ) . check at bootloop , reinstall TWRP image and choose reboot recovery

Have you tried flashing a stock ROM?
yes. but it is still in the loop.
Flashing in Odin was successful?
After flashing the stock ROM, did you perform a factory wipe before booting for the first time?
thats not possible. i can boot to the clockworkmod recovery but if i choose the option "wipe data/factory reset" the recovery will be closed and the smartphone boots again and open the recovery.
1, download mode and flash an official stock rom (one package) via odin. Make sure it is for your device specifically.
2, Boot to official stock recovery and wipe data/factory reset. If the phone reboots after this you need to be prepared to key combo to download mode BEFORE it boots android.
3, Flash the official stock rom again.
All remnants of any previous roms will be gone and you should have a booting phone.

It worked with the stock recovery. Now I was able to install cyanogenmod. Thank you very much!!!
A few days ago i got the massage "uid inconsistent feeling lucky" and after a couple of minutes my phone restarted and got stuck on the flashing samsung logo, i was on an official 4.3 rom rooted.
I decided that it's time to move to Lineage OS 7.1.1. I tried to enter twrp recovery that was installed on my device but got stuck on the twrp splash screen and after 2 seconds it reboots the device, i installed 7 different twrp versions 2.8.5.0 - 3.0.2-2 with odin but every time with the same result, stuck on twrp splash screen
So i tried to install a stock rom, after odin finished and the device rebooted it got stuck again on the flashing samsung logo and when i tried to enter the recovery that should be the stock recovery i got an android image with the red triangle and the phone reboots, when i tried to install stock recovery with odin it got stuck on file analysis.
After all that i downloaded cwm recovery and philz recovery and those were the only recovery i can access, i can delete cache and dalvik cache but when i try to wipe data/factory reset when i select the option the phone immediately reboots.
I also tried to install the Lineage OS 7.1.1 official rom with cwm but got an error massage "can't install this package on top of incompatible data. please try another package or run a factory reset".
Please help me

When flashing a stock ROM, Odin gives no errors? Are you able to boot into stock recovery right after flashing a stock ROM?

No errors in odin, when i try to enter stock recovery after flashing stock rom there is an android picture with red triangle and the phone reboots, the only problem that i had with odin is when i tried to flash only the stock recovery it got stuck on file analysis, in my first post i wrote all the things that i've tried already and what works and doesn't work
I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be. Have you thought about taking the phone to a cell repair shop to see if it can be flashed via JTAG?

this would be my last resort, where i live a shop would charge me more than the phone is worth to repair it, is there a way to factory reset with a software or adb with a phone that can't boot into the os?
The only way I know of is using stock or custom recovery.

can it help if i check the re-partition or erase all nand option in odin?
You need a pit file in order to repartition.

The error you got means you need to wipe the /system partition before you flash Lineage. As for why TWRP isn't working, I'm really not too sure unless the image size is bigger than the actual recovery partition size.

The PIT file depends on the phones model or on the rom version or both?
File depends on model number and the amount of internal memory. I think the 9300 has 16 GB.

the only recovery i can use is cwm or philz, but when i try to wipe data\factory reset the phone reboots right when i select the option and does not complete the wipe\reset, i wiped cache, dalvik cache and system partition, but when i try to install the rom it said incomplete data and i should do a factory reset and i can't do that, i had the latest twrp working before all of this happened

Noooo... Dont repartition it. You haven't had anything that says it needs it yet.
Flash the stock firmware twice, back to back then see if you have more control.
If you have a btu device (unlocked international) i can give you my reliable files to flash.
All you'll need for now is the firmware file. Flash it and as the phone reboots (blue pass in odin) you need to get it into download mode again without going to the os, if you miss it just pull the battery and go again.
Once in dl mode for the second time, flash the firmware again. When the phone reboots, before it goes to os, get in into RECOVERY MODE and try to factory wipe it. If successful allow it to reboot again as normal to os.
If the factory wipe fails or the phone still hangs at the samsung logo you have bigger issues.

My phone recently have gone into a boot loop, so I booted it into recovery and wiped it in order to reflash. But then, when I updated the TWRP recovery to the latest version, the phone stopped bootin into it. Now only the fastboot mode works, and when I try to boot into recovery, it just reboots. I am trying the twrp-3.1.1-0-kenzo on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. How do I make it work?
When u flashed new recovery did you try booting it using key combo before booting to system

Of course. That's when it just flashes the red light indicator and reboots. In fact, there is no "system" to boot into, as I wiped it clean before reflashing the recovery.

Why did you flash a newer version of TWRP, instead of a rom? Reflash the working twrp which was working before you wiped in order to reflash.

I don't remember which version it was. I think, it was something 2.x.x, and I can't find anything earlier than 3.0.2 anywhere. 3.0.2-0-kenzo also does not work for me.
bro,Install twrp by this method.

I just switched my phone on, and it booted into TWRP recovery that I installed eralier! But all the storage partitions were showing zero size, so I reformatted them and selected "reboot into recovery" option. But it did not boot into recovery, and now it is stuck on the "MI" logo and the "Volume Up + Power" key combo only makes it reboot, just like before. How do I boot into recovery?
I figured it out. The whole deal was about dead battery which caused the device to fail to boot even the recovery, even when charging. It charged up a bit, and I sucsessfully flashed the phone.
