You are the guy who developed the custom ROM for A27 Bolt, right? How did you take the nandroid backup before flashing the new ROM? I have been meaning to ask you this.
If you have taken the backup using CWM recovery, then which process did you follow for flashing the recovery? Is it the one mentioned in this forum for A27 Ninja?

That defeats the purpose of the CWM recovery, as we need to be able to get into recovery when the phone is BRICKED, so I looked around for this kind of problems. I was using the ROM Toolbox Lite for rebooting into recovery. I am currently using the the following through ADB to boot into recovery when the phone is turned off, so it will also work on brick:
Code:
adb reboot recovery
As far as I understand, if I can extract init.rc ouf of boot.img, (init.rc opens with notepad) find “service flash_recovery /system/etc/install-recovery.sh” and comment it (put # before the line and the next lines in this paragraph or the next command), and then save init.rc and rebuild the boot image then flash the boot.img back, then we will be able to get CWM by pressing the power + volume up button.
The problem I am facing with this are 2:
There is a separate init.rc in my "System" directory, and it contains the line. Should I change this one or extract the init.rc out of the boot.img?
How to extract init.rc out of boot.img and after editing rebuild the boot.img?
solution

If Micromax Bolt versions have same h/w configuration, switch off the phone, then press and hold VOLUME DOWN(-) button, and while press-holding it, press POWER button, keep holding both buttons. An 'exclamatory sign inside a triangle with a phone icon' should appear on the screen after 10-20 seconds. This is the recovery mode. Tested in Micromax Bolt A26. Connect the phone via USB cable to PC. Open ADB tool on command prompt, and type 'adb devices', it should list your phone with an ID and as 'Recovery' mode. This is the only way I found to interact with the Micromax Bolt phone, since I couldn't find any hard reset key combinations to show up the ClockWorkMod Recovery options on screen. Remember, incase if your phone is soft-bricked/bootloop stuck, and it is non-rooted and USB-Debugging disabled, chances to recover the phone OS and it's data is less, expect to FLASH it with a new compatible stock/custom ROM using Spreadtrum Tool and necessary PAC file using an Auto-Ignition Cable (This can be done without need for Flashing Box). If the phone is rooted/USB-Debugging enabled when it was bricked, then it can fixed just by using ADB tool to wipe cache/user data or any other ops, without necessity for flashing ROM.
Hi,
I got the Mobistel Cynus T5, which is identical to Micromax Canvas A116 HD.
I startet the Phone into bootloader mode by pressing volume + and + and the power button for several seconds at the same time.
Then there is a menu which lets you choose between recovery mode (volume +) and factory mode (volume -).
I pressed the volume + button and got into recovery mode. But in the middle of the screen there was a dead android figure and a warning signal. I couldn't execute any of the commands. I always got the Message "no command". I even couldn't execute the reboot command.
Then I startet the phone again by taking off the battery and this time I have chosen the factory mode. And again I couldn't execute any of the commands from the factory mode menue. Nothing happend.
I tried everything with and without administrator status and with and without usb debugging mode.
But the phone is not rooted.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if my phone is broken? What do I have to do make the command "backup user data" from the recovery mode working, for example.
Thanks for your answewrs.

On most of the phones, stock android recovery is the same way as you told. Search the forums and try flashing philz recovery (recommended). This should help.

I dont have the device A106 Unite 2 and im not familiar with the device. All i know is download the philz recovery from this link, use SP Flash Tool or MobileUncle Tools to flash the recovery ( mobile uncle tools needs a rooted device, it flashes directly from phone). See this thread for more information. Read everything before flashing!

Hi. So I have a noobish question
This may sound very stupid, but this is actually the first time I've owned a phone with non-removable battery, so I just wanted to know what would I do if I ever got stuck in a bootloop? With my previous device, I could just remove the battery and put it back in then boot into recovery. Obviously can't do that now. So how do I turn the phone off, or enter recovery?
Anyone?
You can enter the recovery whenever you want by pressing the on/off button and the down volume button for about 10 seconds. When the Oneplus logo is on the screen release the on/off button but keep the down volume button pressed.
It works, I had a bootloop and fixed it by flashing the rom via twrp

Sorry, I got a little confused
Just to be clear, here's what I understood from what you said - Consider I turn my phone on and its stuck in a bootloop. What do I do then? Hold the power and vol down buttons? That will boot the recovery, even while the device is stuck in bootloop with the oneplus logo continuously showing?
Did I get it right?

I'm sorry I'm not English I may be unclear.
But yes, when you got the logo continuously showing, press the two buttons I said and it will reboot the phone, but you have to release only the on/off button when the oneplus logo will appear right after the beginning of the reboot. If you keep pressing the down volume button it will go to recovery
Have you got a oneplus x already ? You can try it right now, when your phone is awake. It's the same method as in a bootloop.

So I tried what you said, didn't exactly work When the phone was awake, did power+vol down. That just caused it to take a screenshot.
However, when I held down just the power button, the phone turned off. Then I had to turn it on by holding the power button. I did the same thing (holding down power button) while the phone was booting, it worked even then, and the phone again turned off.
So at least I can get into recovery now in case of bootloop. I just need to hold the power button till phone turns off, then boot into recovery using power+vol down combination.
Anyways, thanks for the help

I have the same thing.
Yesterday, I got my OPX and installed TWRP 2.8.7.0 and superSU. AFter using the phone all day, I rebooted and it is now saying in TWRP "no operating system".
I tried to flash the 2.1 full ROM and I get an error in both TWRP or in Stock recovery.
I need a way to get my system booted again and do a full reset. Any suggestions?

You can try a different twrp. There's 2 builds for our device. One is from the twrp thread itself, the other is available in the blu_spark kernel thread.

Same problem here.... Any suggestions what would be the solution or fix?
Download this utility: https://mega.nz/#!Xh5BWAaB!aNS2naZOnlW90qZuz70A0Sxim_2qJcfzI2CsbTH1jX8
and last TWRP for HM3 https://eu.dl.twrp.me/ido/twrp-3.2.1-0-ido.img.html
Unpack fastboot_toolkit and copy downloaded TWRP img in this folder and rename it on twrp.img (and overwrite if some twrp file is in it yet).
Turn phone off and start in fastboot mode (VolumeMinus + Power) nad connect to PC (Win 64bit), run instalacia_TWRP_windows, you see green command window, push any key. After "Hotovo!",push any key again and phone auto restart in TWRP and then you can wipe and flash again.
---------- Post added at 11:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:27 PM ----------
If your phone auto turn off and restart to logoin bootloop again and again and you can´t stay permanently in fastboot mode,it is bad problem, you can try EDLmode and MiFlash flash with fastboot ROM,but maybe even EDL is not avaible. You must try and try, last time I has succeeded after hours....
