Hello,
Is it only me or is the stopwatch function laggy and sometimes not responding when using the touch screen?
I really need the stopwatch. For start i can use the middle hardware button but for resetting to zero i must use the screen.. This is really annoing.
Somebody knows a solution or maybe another app?
Thanks in advance!
Greetings,
Spekk
Tested now and confirmed it's laggy - it is more a hit and miss ... IMO the digital buttons are too small you have to hit exactly the middle of the "stop" button for it to react, try to get it right when out of breath ... the UI needs to be adapted a bit. Compared to my Android Watch the button for pause/split is big and right in the middle of the screen.
Hello Mateiux,
Thanks for your reply, i hope somebody will pick it up and make it workable__

When I eject the qwerty keyboard, screen goes white. Its maybe do the sensor, but when I press the power button twice (its mean take off take on display) the screen is ok and landscape. I do hard reset but it isnt help.
And my secon problem is a non-function buttons bottom display. The softkeys work only when I want do a hard reset.
Thanks for every solution.

I think that when you slide the keyboard, the connector wobbles thus a white screen.
There's a problem with the keyboard of my girlfriend's SK17i and I don't know whether it is a software or hardware problem.
The problem in question is a over-sensitive key, in which for this case, it's the "f" key. Whenever she uses the pop out keyboard, the "f" key seems to be jammed and it would infest any of my messages with a bombardment of "f"'s, making it extremely irritating to use. It's gotten to the point where she don't actually have to press down on the key, all she has to do is slide her finger across it and it would register on multiple occasions. In addition, it would also register if she were to press the other keys around the "f" key, rendering the keyboard almost completely useless.
Furthermore, the extent of the problem actually affects the phone whilst the screen is off; at times, she would wake up in the morning and if she was on whatsapp, the messaging bar would be full of "f"'s and if she was on the homescreen instead, the phone would automatically open up the browser and the search bar would also be full of "f"'s. Moreover, it also affects the on screen keyboard, albeit not as much but at times, the phone would seem to be registering "f"'s as it thinks that the pop out keyboard is in use. Therefore, the on screen keyboard is also becoming highly irritating to use.
I don't know how to fix this and it seems the more likely to be a hardware problem but if anyone seems to have this problem and was able to fix it through a software solution, please let me know as she loves this phone and she don't want to get rid of it! Thanks in advance!
Does the button itself still behave correctly, like you can press it?
It seems more like hardware failure to me.
About those f's, doesn't lockscreen prevent that from happening, while screen is off?
She can still press down the key and it clicks which means that it works and isn't jammed.
As for the lockscreen situation, she didn't actually press down the lock button because she assumes that once the screen goes black, it automatically locks and it does on any android phone. Maybe the "f" key is stopping it from actually self locking.
Also, she says that whenever she presses down on any other key, it has a bit of resistance but on the "f" key, it feels flimsy. We both assume that it is a hardware problem but we just wanted a second opinion.
Thanks in advance!
If it feels "flimsy" then it doesn't behave correctly, IMHO.
Have you tried resetting the phone to factory defaults? If not, give that a try (backup first!), although I doubt it will make any difference.

Exactly. That part blocks it from locking.
It does seem a hardware problem, because there is no such thing as button sensitivity. What I mean, is that key is damaged and is touching the sensor(a small button on chip likely).
If you still have warranty, take it back to shop.
Thanks for the advice! She'll take it back to the seller with the warranty (bought it online with 12 month warranty)
hi everybody,
when installed quick lock widget into GSIII from market it worked fine at first day:fingers-crossed: but later when i press on the icon the phone does not lock as usual way but the screen blinks twice and then stay lock screen illuminated until display off time pass:silly:
i tried several other widgets from market but the same happen does anybody have an idea what happened
i would appreciate your help and thanks in advance
Nobody knows about this issue
my old 'screen off and lock' widget had the same problem, must be something on the S3 firmware that all the screen lock widgets are incompatible with
i've not yet tried to find one that works, using the power button for now
*i think this one might work because it does not act as a device administrator but just puts the display off after 5 seconds*

Hi there to everyone, I broke only the glass on my screen couple of weeks ago (it felt face down from about half a meter, thats stupid) and I change only the glass my self but since then i have a problem with the screen like: if I press a bit harder anywhere on the screen for about 2 sec the screen became irresponsible and also the back and menu buttons, home and power button work normal. If I press the home button it react as it should, it goes to home screen, so it's just the screen frozen on touch and I have to lock and unlock the phone to go to normal. On daily use it's not such a big problem as i don't press the screen too hard, the problem mostly occurs when playing games.
I would try a hard reset but I not rooted as I use some apps that don't work if I'm rooted and I can't save all my settings, saves and apps and personally I hate to reinstall everything back again.
I'm thinking this is a hardware problem but why it goes to normal only after lock/unlock procedure and i also find on a forum that this can be from the screen protector. It's something similar with the phone in this video the difference being that mine it freezing and that it moving by itself. youtube.com/watch?v=isBDKgxB5vs
Did anyone also experience this?
PS. I sorry for my english as it's not my own language but I'm trying to make my self clear as best as i can, Thank you
Hello all,
my Stratos 2 (A1619) is about 5 days old. I downloaded the most recent official Firmware suggested by the smartphone app (2.3.4.0). Still everything was fine. After installing a lot of watchfaces I experienced problems similar to Youtube 4zQLNsVWvvc (sorry I am not allowed to post external links).
It was not only the screen jumping around but also touchscreen buttons seemed to be pressed repeatedly ("ghostpresses" - like one would press e.g. once a second on the middle of the screen).
I unbound the watch, rebound it, did a factory reset, bound it again. Another factory reset without restoring data and finally it came almost back to normal - except this problem:
If there is a button on the right lower part of the screen like e.g. the purple "nut" button for settings or the "Stop" button of the stopwatch it is extremely hard to hit. The buttons next to these on the right (e.g. "brightness" resp. "Lap/Reset)" are easy to hit.
The touchscreen in general seems to be O.K. because swiping works perfectly fine - even in the right lower corner. Only the buttons there are extremely hard to hit. Maybe one of twenty tries works.
Initially all buttons worked perfectly - so I don't think that it is a hardware problem.
Did someone experience similar problems resp. is there a solution like e.g.:
- increasing the sensitive "size" of the buttons
- recalibrate/reset the touchscreen
Maybe there is an algorithm, that automatically calibrates (learns) the buttons from the presses that got crazy during the "ghostpress" phase?
Probably it's a hardware problem, it's too new (the only other thing that would cause ghost presses are dirty screens, but I don't think it's the case), you should replace it under warranty as soon as possible.
I have a similar problem with my left corner touchscreen buttons.
Here is the result of my hardware secret menu for the lcd screen of stratos.
